As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Cache is gone. I will replace it and put it in a different spot so it's not easy to see. Watch this space.

09-Oct-11
I will be going down tomorrow to have a look for it and check its where it should be and get another reading. If it's gone I may have to move it or make it smaller.

Looked around the entire park but couldn't find anything. Could you please check it and make sure it is still here

I am going to have another look tomorrow, see if I can't find it this time.

Coordinates changed from:
S 33° 45.270 E 150° 43.303

Coordinates changed to:
S 33° 45.272 E 150° 43.291

Distance from original: 61.8 feet or 18.9 meters.

I've gone to the park to redo the co ords. I hope they are right this time.

Another Great day and very good find on my holiday around Sydney area. A short search had the cache located. SL Thanks for the fun!

An instant find on a warm Spring day. I know it's an easy find but those co-ords really need to be updated. Interesting story on how the poor steam roller was killed.

Cheers

Found it pretty much straight away. Nice little park. Love the steam roller =] 2nd find for the day. TFTC

The weather today is a wonderful 22° so the ageing Bushfire thought it was time to again find a few smileys in this wonderful area.
When I am in this area because I have family in Glenmore Park I always try to find a few while here I am here.
Today I have added another 9 to my tally so you have to be happy with that.
This was the last cache attempted and like others noted that the co-ords need to be checked. Once again the ageing bushfire was lucky here as it was in the first place looked or felt. The hint does not mean anything so just ignore it.
Thanks to the nightfairy85 for showing me this quaint small park with the steam roller who meet it's end by foul means.

30-Aug-11
Coordinates were telling me to go in one direction, but I ignored them & looked in an obvious spot & found the container immediately.

I'd say the coordinates are about 15m out, but still an easy find.

Thanks nightfairy85 Smile.

Tried this cache on a day out with muggle friends. We aheard to the logs stating that the co ords were being out and headed straight to the obvious location but no luck. Im sure i searched every nook and crany but nothing...will not let this beat me as previous logs say its easy. I will try again soon.

Stopped here after work today, like others have mentioned the co-ords are out, but putting two and two together figured where it should be. After a short search came up with the goods.
Thanks for the cache

23-Aug-11
Co-ords well out, but got this one after a search . TFTC, cheers:)

14-Aug-11
Third attempt at this one due to 'off' co-ords, but got our hands on it this time. SL, TCTC! Smile

14-Aug-11
Found after some tips from Booo's Dad during a late night rendevouz at another cache! Had tried this one twice before, only to find the co-ords are well out. Found it this time without recourse to GPS or standing in a wide open patch of grass. SL, TFTC! VK2GOM - Rob * Biscuit the Beagle.

When this first came up, I phoned Team Canary, who I knew was in the area, and he got a FTF. Now it was my turn for my personal FTF...hahaha, thanks nightfairy85

I rolled up to the park near GZ just after midnight, on my way back to work in The Hills from my home in the Blue Mountains.

Not sure about the confusion over coordinates, I had texted my friend GazMag for advice. Resassured, I found GZ as deserted as one might expect at this ungodly hour, and was able to search in peace.

The published coordinates proved to be nearly 14 metres off -- at least, according to my Oregon 300 -- so I'll post my suggested new coords, for what they're worth.

In fact, due to 'the structure' at GZ, most geocachers would well know where to start their searches, and I had CIH in less than a minute.

My only regret was not be able to see the steamroller very well, because of the pitch darkness. Am going to be interested to see how my iPhone 4 camera photos came out!

Container was partly open when I found it, but everything was otherwise in good shape. TNLNSL.

Many thanks to nightfairy85.

Took the time to call in after chasing down a new cache out at Richmond..
No GPS'r for this one, but had it quickly in hand..
Thanks for bringing us here, nightfairy85 =)

Well we rolled up with a full head of steam and spent much time slowly checking all the likely places. Overall we were pretty smooth and we soon had the cache in hand to sign the log. We've got the Geowife an iPhone4 now giving us more of a level playing field. However this left our Geokidlets feeling a little flat, they'd hoped for a rough time for us meaning more playtime for them Smile

I have driven past this park for years and often wondered at the significance of the steam roller
Now I know thank you

First cache for me today while cleaning up a few around the Penrith area. I found the coordinates to be about 12 to 15 metres out, since the CO asked, but the place to look is obvious, so I didn't worry about taking a waypoint. Thanks

24-Jul-11
So many obvious spots and it was, of course one of the last that we checked. Nevertheless, it was just a process of eliminating which and we had it in the bag. TFTC

24-Jul-11
Found it on the way home

23-Jul-11
Fantastic old Steamroller, however the coordinates are off but searching the most obvious places soon came up with the cache, like picking the winning number from a hat, thanks.

My GPS put me right in the middle of a grassy area every time, with 3m accuracy. No evident hiding places within a 3m radius I could see.

Interesting story about the steamroller though!

4:55pm - Central Railway Station, Sydney. Notification of a new cache received, problem is I am returning home from work and know there will FTF. 6:10pm and no log on this one yet, dare I hope! 6:15pm collect Teamboo on way to GZ still no logs. 6:35 Pm arrive GZ iPhone takes us to the middle of nowhere hmmm... Quick check of the hint and bingo cache in hand. Quick check of the log and Team Canary a full hour earlier had signed the FTF!.. Well 2TF isnt that bad of a thing is it.
