Looked in all the trees on the roadside, no dice. Found the tree with all the bees though hahah
this cache has been relocated a very short distance away due to bees.new co ords areS33 18.743E149 11.803
Catching up with late logs.We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Bathurst and surrounds. We solved all the puzzles we could before we left home which was also an enjoyable part of this journey. We had a great time here in the Orange area finding all types of cache sizes and hides but unfortunately we have got behind in our logging and are trying to catch up now.We can no longer remember the caches individually so we apologize for the generic log, it's certainly not meant to take anything away from our experience, it's just the old minds just ain't what they used to be.We do recall this one as when we retrieved the container a few insects flew out and after we had added our names to the log we realised that more and more insects were coming out and then found out that they were quite angry bees. We put the container back which really upset them and getting stung twice we decided that we weren't to put the cover back on as the little critters had become quite protective. We signed the logs as The Mob.Many thanks for adding this piece to the game board for our enjoyment.
Day 3 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today we did a lot of country driving, and included Orange in our travels. The scenery was lovely with the trees turning a multitude of different colours for winter. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped to find along the way.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, SushiKitten, for us and others to find.
Quick find. Unfortunately the log is soaked and the cache was full of water. Could sure some maintenance. TFTC.
Today we are driving to Orange and back, StreetWalkerNZ and I to find some caches, and we are accompanied by son and daughter in law who plan to check out a few wineries. Daughter in law proved to be an asset geocaching as she had a good nose finding caches .
We had dropped the young folk at a winery and did some solo caching. This was found en route to picking them up. Once in the right place, the cache was a quick find but it was full of water. Took a photo log instead of signing. TFTC.

#22694. We were doing a pickup from a nearby winery, and had time for a couple of trads along the way. All was quiet at GZ, and we made a pretty quick find. TFTC.

Travelling and caching with RoddyC to Canberra & Bathurst before returning home.
Today we sought out some puzzles we had solved before leaving home.
Well I started in the wrong place and did not do any better until I saw a colour I had been looking at all day. So zoomed in and was attacked by the local inhabitants. I am glad my right arm bowling was spot on today. Got out of here in a hurry.
Log book is wet and needs replacing ing.
Happy New Year everyone.

Headed out today to grab a cache, and although it was a simple park and grab, I really couldn’t park next to GZ as it was too dangerous a spot. Parked up and the nearby junction and walked back.

Quick find by ‘D’. Container was waterlogged & log unable to signed. We had a small piece of notepad paper & a ziplock bag so signed it & added them to the cache. TFTC
That’s quite a loud beehive. Also log was to wet to sign so hopefully future finders can do some maintenance. Didn’t put a nm on it as the owner hasn’t been on for 6 years and we want to keep old caches like this especially in rural areas. Tftc tnln
Found it!! Warning bees have made a hive on top of it I did retrieve it with been only stung once! The cache is now on the ground near base of tree!!
Warning bees have made a hive. Maintenance may need to be done or moved. Cache is currently at bottom of tree as it wasn’t safe to be out back!

We moved to Macquarie Woods today from Bathurst as it is such a lovely place to camp. We enjoyed our geocaching between here and Orange. So green now after the recent rain and we loved the scenery and history.. Nice hide. Thanks to SushiKitten for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Continuing on our way back to Macquarie Woods, we stopped at this cache. Found the cache, although not in the place we expected.
TFTC out with the geograndkids on a lovely Sunday afternoon, left a few swapables.
Hill End and Mudgee weekend April 2018. I set out late on Thursday after a small car battery issue. I only stopped once before a night at Bummeroo ford. Friday took me to Orange via many spread out caches between Oberon and Bathurst. I spent the night at Macquarie woods. Saturday started foggy and then warmed up. I was heading to Hill end, and did make it, but I had to give up on the Bridle track due to a rockfall. Late in the evening I did find a spot along the Turon river and the very bumpy northern section of the Bridle trail. Sunday had me finishing the TRLT trail from Mudgee to Gulgong and a few missed ones in the middle of nowhere. The last day was a simple drive home from Sofala. A great weekend !
Today held plenty of quick roadside stops as well.
Thanks.

Tftc. Took a few minutes to move months of leaf litter, but got the smiley. Mrs Jaybeem kept getting caught up in the prickles so retired to the car after I yelled that I’d found it.
The cache was exposed and very obvious due to its bright colour so we covered it well when replacing. Nice hide, thanks SushiKitten.
Christmas market day was a tad busy, but everyone was looking for parking so cache was quickly found, signed and replaced without arousing suspicion!
Bathurst to Orange
We have set up camp at the showground overnight. We completed the lake walk in the morning then onto the Gnoo Blast in the afternoon, finishing with a tiki tour of the country side before heading home.
Thanks for placing this cache SushiKitten

This was a very nice cache to find tucked away in its home. It was quickly and easily found. The log was then duly signed and the cache was put back where we had found it. Thank you for placing this cache on a road where we can avoid the highway travel and thank you for another cache for us an other cachers to find.
At first I looked in the wrong 'obvious' spot, then I kicked myself for not looking at another 'obvious' spot.
Quick and easy, grabbed some wine from a small winery up the road, and when I say small, we were in his lounge room.

We decided to drive home the back way. Made a more interesting drive and we got to stop for caches every so often.
Thanks

We pulled up opposite Mayfield winery and discovered that the cache wasn't where we supposed. Toriaz turned it up quickly though, and we were on our way to the next cache where (little did we know) we were about to meet the cache owner. Thanks
I like wineries, especially the reds, we didn’t visit any today but found a cache instead - TFTC / TFTH / SL
Didn't find, but perhaps didn't look hard enough... I was conscious of Joe Blakes as I had my little girl along helping, in the tall grass...

Found late morning whilst working along the road. The stone wall is certainly a cracker which I would love to build at home. Thanks again SushiKitten

A very nice drive along the country roads to this cache. Found it with out too much trouble and made sure it was well hidden when I replaced it. Thanks SushiKitten for your cache. TFTC.
6705 + 834 = 7539. Found during a great weekend caching in the Bathurst region with Sol de Lune.

Along the backroad from Bathurst to Orange this morning I was enjoying the relative peace and quiet
There were quite a few caches to be found too [^]
Mayfield had a 2011 vintage "SushiKitten" cache ready for me to taste
The road stayed quiet for my visit and I soon found the cache in it's well designed rack
The opening end of the cache was tilted down at the ideal angle to keep the cork moist and the contents in good condition.
I carefully pulled the cache out and with a quality corkscrew opened it
A soft 'pop' and the aromas of almost 2 years of cache finder's logs wafted into me nostrils
This vintage cache has a clean, crisp logbook with just a hint of must [^]
There were some fruity overtones on the palette, but that might just have been the smell of the ants and cockroaches that live here too [:o)]
I put the cork back on the container and put it back for the next taster.

We were out at the Mayfield Winery to attend a significant family function and I noticed that this one was very close so I picked it up. Nice hide. SL, left TB, TFTC SushiKitten
Found my 100th geocache this 2013 Australia Day long weekend, but I'd never logged any of my finds. So I decided now is an opportune time to do so!
This was cache #81, found whilst on a successful geocaching day in the Orange region. TFTC!

This was my second attempt at this one. The last time was a busy Sunday afternoon and the air was very smoky, so this time I had better luck and came up with the find. TFTC SushiKitten.
Just another quick find for the day. Saw some lovely red parrots flying around. TFTC
On a rare dog- and child-free trip, Black Bunny wanted to get as many caches as he could, while the getting was good.
Thanks for the cache, SushiKitten!
