Logs
Due the cache being muggled and as the condition of the area is now unsuitable for a hide this cache is being archived. We will be finding a location to place a new cache.
Thanks to all who took time to find The Brothers Cache.

I decided to pick up 2 more caches today and this was the next target. Parked up on the cul de sac road behind the park and wandered towards GZ. Didn't take too long to find the cache however I had to tip out a heap of black water from the cache container, YUCK....
The log itself was a little damp but still signable. This container is not very waterproof unfortunately.
Thanks for the cache placement GeoCondors

I'd already my cache(s) for the day, but as I was in a new area of Canberra I hadn't been to before to collect some furniture I'd bought off Gumtree, I couldn't resist finding one more. Cache easily found. TFTC.

A nice cache to do on a beautiful Christmas Day. We were looking at our new house nearby in Conder.
Nice quick find at a lovely park.
TFTC and Merry Christmas!

#460. 101 days in a row.
I'd intended to get this a couple of days ago, but there were people using the playground at the time. Came back in a bit of drizzle and was unsurprised that the area was deserted. Quick find and replace.

Took both the GPS direction and the hint but came up with nothing. As a previous logger said, it may be gooooone
Spent the day geocaching around Theodore and Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve. Visited 21 caches plus several waypoints on multis, collected 4 trackables, walked 15.2 kilometres and ascended 581 metres. Some really good caches amongst these.
My GPS put this cache ten metres away but the clue soon revealed it location.

We had headed south to do a favour and decided to grab this cache before heading home. Found without issue and dropped trekker TB off to continue its journey.
My second find on a caching run down to the deep south. I always feel guity doing caching at playgrounds, as it is one way that I can get "I hate geocaching" geokid to actually come along and enjoy it. SL TNLN TFTC
Gps was only giving me 6m accuracy throwing me way off.... Lucky a local helped. Tfc!
This turns out to be our fourth and last for the day. The dogs have had a nice walk, and here's another short walk before the rain hits. Good cache, nicely stashed. TFTC. After this, we went home, and managed not to get wet.
Nice little cache to start our mini-run this arvo, and Binni had the chance to express her great appreciation of roos [B)] lol Found and removed a stack of commercial crap - tftc GeoCondors
There were a couple of kangawallafoxes (roos) eying us off in the clearing but we found the cache and they hopped away in defeat. Took a bracelet and left a zebra. TFTC.
Wow: what a great hide. I normally don't like playground hides, but this was one out of the box! Top stuff and a favourite from us.

Tried again with Geo Husband and he found it! Good hide! Coordinates are off but it was good fun
Can't find it. My map is changing from 0 to 10 metres in the same area, when it was on 0 I was in an open place. The hint didn't match up with my map. Bummer
Second for the morning, found by geonerdling. Luckily there weren't any muggles around so it made retrieval and signing easy. TFTC.
All I can say is that I found it. No muggles at the time, but the houses across the road made me move quickly and swiftly. Thanks.

Day#11 Geocaching August streak.
I was in the area so might as well grab another couple more caches, and I missed out on this last week or so when I went up the nearby hill. started searching then checked out the hint doh .. and the size made it a simple hide..I'm glad I got here before the open house across the road
thanks

Walked down the hill into suburbia to grab this cache. It is well hidden and would be totally impossible if even one child was on the playground. If there's anyone here, walk on. Fortunately for me there was no-one around today. Thanks for the cache, one of the biggest I've ever seen in a playground.
Loved the hide but bigger than we expected. Seven Orroral Scouts found it as part of a day out caching. TFTC
What a lovely Mother's day surprise to find Bree's teddy (I will look after him). The coordinates are about 8m out, I was looking for something smaller than what I found. TFTC.
Just awesome... My nearly 6 year old found this one and we swapped contents. Thanks
ack, all of the twists and turns without a map were throwing me off, took a while to finally get to this one, but very easy to find once i made it, tftc!
Found at 1.28pm while in the area working. A nice quick find in the middle of the day with no muggles about.

This was our first go at geo caching, had some problems with the GPS but we were successful once we went back to the clue. What a clever hiding spot! Kids loved it. They have caught the bug now! Bystanding kangaroos watched on with disinterest.
We''re usually not keen of this kind of hiding spots, as it can destroy so much. In this area and also being placed by kids - it's ok, although we think it's 10 m off
A good hide. Grerrr - my Tom-tom wanted to put me over 400metres from this cache. I didn't believe that was the closest the car could get to the cache and checked an old-fashioned paper map. The Tom-tom often does this. Why can't it find the nearest road? Anyway, that's enough complaining. TFTC.
Found it....nice easy cache and nice spot.

Quick check on the cache. Gave it a clean out as some of the surrounding "ground" had gotten in. Have marked TB Rhys C5YMD3 as missing as he is not in the cache and has not been logged. If you have him please log his location.
Thanks to all that have visited so far...
Have a great caching new year!

Co-ordinates about 8meters out but found with clue. But that was the deceiving part about this
cache. Clever hide and lucky no creepy crawlers call this their home as well. Cheers.

Found with vombatus2. We had just completed the cachers cache (I told him to do it) and as this was on the GPS..why not?
I saw the clue and went "Noooooooooooooo" then "how the hell does a cache that isn't a nano fit on THAT?"
Hmm. Clever hiding spot. Wouldn't check there normally, but as dad was looking at the other one, I looked at it, and bam! There it was!!!

Ah, now i see where i went wrong last time i tried to find this! (Dark + coords that were out + iphone!)
Very clever. Still not a fan of playground caches. I'm glad i'm a big kid, but at the age of..almost 22, i still feel weird standing here in a playground on a sunday afternoon..

Quick check while the kids played. Cache is still in same "position" and the new wood chips have settled. Dropped off two new TB and some other bits and pieces... Happy caching. GeoCondors
Found a while a go, just haven't got around to logging it.
My second attempt at this one, must've just missed it the first time

On the way to get the newest Geo_junkies 6 week immunisations and thought that we would swing by and get this cache.
Coordinates about 13m out on the GSP however with the clue and the other Jnr geo_junkies playing around the area the cache was soon in hand.
Pleasantly surprised by size.... not what I was expecting at all.
Thanks GeoConders

Calling someone a big kid is not exactly how you say thank you, is it Zal? Enjoyed the swing although some certain bigger kid pushed a bit too hard and I got scared, ni tao yan...ha ha.

Very glad the place was deserted. A nice box and much larger than expected but Im not a fan of hiding caches this close to childrens play equipment. Makes us blokes look very sus Luckily I had my Zhaoy with me and she is a big kid so it was OK We had a play on the swings then headed to the 2nd most Favourited Cache in the ACT which is nearby!
Cheers from Sydney.

Out walking the dogs and grabbed the cache on the way to Prickles, Poos and Views cache. TFTC. Cheers
Had a quick search for this one today with no luck - didn't stay long because of muggles. Will come back sometime in the near future...
Slowly catching up with my late logging was here in May with Code 1. We watched the comedy across the road before getting down to buisness. After a short bit of play time we returned cache and headed off for the next.

We watched with interest as the removal truck drove in front wards and proceeded to get himself stuck in the driveway of a house across the road. He ended up reversing in until he bottomed out and about half a dozen guys began the hard work of carrying it to the house 50m away.
Found the cache quickly and left them too it.

The tenth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland was marked by the best weather for caching. No rain, not even a chance of rain, some clouds but plenty of blue sky and a very light breeze which did not have a hint of the bitter cold of previous days. We started the day tracking down the cache for the Hobart to Canberra Great Aussie Icon Hunt and then we spent the rest of the day in the Tuggeranong area, some of the time in the hills. We had a great days caching.
With the school holidays still happening, we wondered if this small park would be full of muggles. We were very surprised that it was totally free of people which made for any easy search. However, finding the cache was not as easy. We tried the obvious spots but withiout success. Then we searched a little further and we surosrised to see the size of the cache. This was an excellent hide, one which took a bit of effort to track down. TFTC GeoCondors

I am not a big fan of playground caches but this one was a clever variation. TFTC
Quick grab while in the area today. Realised when I got here that we'd actually already found this one, but must have somehow forgotten to log it. Signed log (again): TNGD. TFTC!
