Logs

As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

19-Jan-13
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

We'd found four in a row and decided to take a chance on this one. We knew others hadn't found it. Looked around. Found a potential empty nest. Also found wasps in one possible site so didn't look too closely.

DNF @ 16:47.

Should have been find #19 or 20 on my first geocaching trip to Warnbro, but ended up as DNF #2!

Did not notice the DNFs or Maintenance call until I arrived near GZ!

I spent a little while at GZ looking for this and this I found an empty potential hide...

Pretty sure this one is gone...

I can not see a needs maintenance log on this cache,
From the Help Centre, http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=57
If you find a geocache that is in need of some help (e.g. container is cracked, logbook is full or wet), please post a "Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page so the cache owner and the community is notified. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a colored cross) to alert other geocachers of the needed repairs. Logging Needs Maintenance does not increase find count. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers.
and from the Archive help centre article http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=56
Please use this log only when there are serious problems with the cache or its location. Do not use it if the cache needs repairs, or you didn't find it, or the location made you uncomfortable. Please consider first contacting the owner of the geocache with your concerns. Use the profile link next to the cache owner's name at the top of the cache page to send an email, as well as logging to the cache page about your visit.
If you have no response from the cache owner after 30 days then I'd suggest using a Needs Archive Note. Except for in the most extreme cases, it's normally best to give the cache owner a chance to fix the issue before alerting the reviewers.

Could CO please confirm if cache is still in place? If not interested in maintaining please archive, thanks... Smile

05-Nov-12
Like the others more recently logged here my wife and I, who live just around the corner and are familiar with this park, could not find it. After a rather extensive search, in a high muggle area, we rather suspect that it is no longer here, possibly muggled. Perhaps it needs to be archived???

23-Sep-12
Couldn't find it either. I did spot the milk carton previously mentioned. TFTH.

23-Sep-12
Just to let the CO know that we couldn't find the cache again, with both Mr and Mrs Luna Maya looking. Would you be able to confirm if still there please ? Getting spiky plant injuries !

11-Sep-12
Really wanted to find a cache today but was not to be ! Found the likely spot. After much looking over, under and in - or crawling under and poking in bushes found an empty milk container. And of course not the cache but just an empty container. Lots of muggles walking dogs and when some started barking at me in the bushes I called it a day. Back another day with geohubby I hope !

If you are short you may have trouble finding this cache and be careful of the blackboy spikes, bit of a tricky one to find

Pretty quick find thanks to hint. Good hiding place, makes a chnage. TNLN. TFTH

31-Jan-12
No find for us this evening. Not a great fan of mooching through bushes at this time of year so perhaps we didn't search enough. Another time maybe.

11-Jan-12
GPS was indicating a little way off of where Ramases the Sheep eventually found the cache. Can see that others have been looking, and was surprised when I was shown its hiding spot. Glad I didn't find any doggy doo doo like the previous cacher though.

07-Dec-11
Not happy - my last attempt for the day, and not only did I step on dog poo and stink up the car on the way home but I couldn't find the cache. GZ and the clue make it pretty obvious - it's a choice of 2 grass trees - trouble is, it's not in either of them! Or else it's very small and a needle in a haystack situation. Disappointing end to an otherwise good caching afternoon.

Dusk was falling so had hoped for a quick find. Only two muggles some distance away in the park, climbing the climbing thingee, so had a clear go. On reading the description had a good idea where to look, so it didn't take long at all. Thanks for the hunt Luke d.

09-Sep-11
Couldn't find at first attempt, 2 muggles close by with dogs and GPS lead us astray ... So played on the climbing thingy with the boys until muggles left (great 30 minute play). Then came back, tried a different bush and bingo, there it was. TFTH TNLN SL

Mrs Felix and The Machman have had a 'to do' list for Rockingham for 4 months. Finally got to make a dent in it today. After taking far too long to get south due to the fog and problems with peak hour traffic.

This was our 17th of 33 for a full on day way down South! We parked the car and saw a muggle nearby attempting to walk 2 elderly and overweight dogs. Once they had passed it was time to search. Hmmm well we searched where we would have put the cache, then read some previous logs and did the count!

Oh not quite where we would put it, The Machman searched the next object and the cache was quickly in hand.

TFTC Luke d

Had a hunt around the usual spots without success, then tried the less usual spots and soon uncovered the hide.
TFTC.

29-Aug-11
I was cycling past when I spied the container quite exposed. I replaced it so not so easily visible. TFTC.

21-Aug-11
An easy find and somewhat exposed - hope it lasts.

Easy find. Signed the log. TFTH

3959 + 206 = 4165. A couple of finds after work during another visit to the west.

I was passing this park while heading home so I stopped for another quick find - hope this one lasts as there are a lot of muggles around this area ! Thanks Luke d !!

TNLN - TFTC !!

Cheers....

Horrible day today, the weather was bad, storms all day, sitting at work, just before I went home deciding if I should attempt this cache again. On previous occasions the ability to search was curtailed by muggles playing near the GZ, thought why not. Arrived at the GZ with not a muggle insight, having read the previous logs, I started an expanded search immediately and was quickly rewarded with the find.

The lid of the cache had been previously replaced upsidedown, and the cache had filled with some water. I drained the water, signed the log and replaced the cache. Not sure if it will stay in place if the winds keep buffetting the hiding spot.

Thanks luke_d for the cache. Now only two left with 10 km of home. Big Grin

After a 2nd crack looking for this elusive cache WE FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!Cool Wax comb and teddy sticker taken. Guitar and bunny rubber left. Geo kid handy to keep muggle suspicion down. Big Grin

11-Aug-11
I had today off to do some chores before heading south for the weekend. After rushing through some of those chores, I loaded the GPSr and headed out for some fun.

I arrived at ground zero for this cache and had to wait out some muggles. I rang Skulduggery to say g'day while I waited. Once the muggles had passed, I had a search. The hint and a previous log narrowed the location down to five possibilities in my opinion. After searching three of those places, I found the cache happily sitting there in its nest on the fourth option. Nice size container that is different to what I have seen before. Nice use!

Thanks for the cache Luke_d, no swaps made today

Cheers Cool

07-Aug-11
This cache eluded us. Very tricky Luke d. Must be well hidden. Shall return when fewer muggles about.

31-Jul-11
No luck with this one. Maybe the storms shifted it?

31-Jul-11
Just checked, cache is still in place. Better luck next time! Smile

**WOOT** FTF Very Happy

Found on a gloriously dismal day with a good friend. After a quick search of GZ i quickly broadened the search area and soon the cach was in hand.
Left surfboard comb, took nothing and SL

Thanks Luke d for a great little hunt
