Great to see these old caches still going strong out here. On a walk around braving the rain with @shod and @woodvalewarriors in this really beautiful part of the world.
Decided to tackle a the echidna trail with @jamesknowlson and had enough reception to load this geocache unlike the rest and had a quick find at GZ. Picture is attached as we didn’t sign the log. TFTC
I am camping in Walyunga for the IGD weekend - after the main event yesterday, today was an opportunity to get out on the trails and pick up a few caches that take a bit of effort to reach. This one was on my must do list and after a nice camp breakfast I headed off for a morning hike from the campsite. My tracker suggested a 3hr round trip which ended up taking a little longer due to the wet, muddy tracks. The walk was very enjoyable and the cache was a nice quick find once at GZ. I left a TB here, had a snack, then headed off back to camp. On the way I passed an old tractor - which I was glad was on private property otherwise you just know someone would have stuck a nano on there!! All ok here today - TFTC
Found a shorter way to collect a smiley here. In the area looking fir hiding spots fir the IGD event next monthTftc
Down in the big smoke for West Oz committee meeting. Of course I will use the journey wisely to grab some caches whilst here. Thanks for placing this cache -it added to my smilies for the day
Couldnt miss this one while in the area - sure got my steps in today. Thankful for the beautiful blue sky, my waterbottle and the beautiful scenery.

Catching up on some old logs whilst sitting at camp in Mollerin. Have back dated to what I think was the original date found was.
Took a walk out this morning on a small portion of the echidna and pilgrim trails to grab these two geocaches which have been taunting me for a very long time.
Two green dots left amongst a sea of smiley faces. Good little heart starter getting up the hill on the echidna after the flat pilgrim trail.
Thanks for the find.

Don’t get out this way much, so I though I’d snap up the opportunity to tag along with the eager ones for a couple of caches near and in Walyunga NP. Cheers jesbss!
I have been here a few time doing trail running races - no real time to stop and look for caches. Although I am aware of the terrain it was not fun.
Didn’t take too long to find. Thanks for the hide.

Cache container is looking a little worse for wear, but still intact.
A nice stop whilst tackling the Echidna Trail.

We took a few hours off work this afternoon and decided to look for a few smiley's while in the area. After downloading the coords into the trusty GPS we set off to locate this one.
Cache is showing signs of age, TFTC jesbss!

Great spot on a fantastic trail. Great views. Dropped off a TB and left TB that was already in there.

After a challenging up-hill slog on hot day, so happy to find this as fills a hole on my D/T grid!
Buddy hhheddy beat me to GZ and made the find. Thank you jesbss

Found on a walk around the Echidna trail at Walyunga National Park this morning. It's been a nice walk so far, a little bit of rain, but some sun too . And A LOT of flies! Dropped Moon TB I picked up in Yanchep a couple of weeks ago. TFTC
This is a hard one. Check out to the left of the rocky outcrop

tftc jesbss was up here the other day but did not get a chance to log my finds. Did a short walk to grab the caches on the east side of the park. Love this park lots of great scenery and lots of BIG hills.
(Chwiliwr team catch up log)
After finding the new cache nearby we continued on our walk and came to this cache next and made a quick find.
From here walked up to the tower and then back along the tracks to a GCA trig point before returning to where we had parked the car.
Thanks jesbss for the cache.

After a stf at a nearby hide I continued up the hill to try my luck with this
A very pleasant walk was followed by a quick find in the obvious spot

Looked around the rocky mounded area and around base of tree. Could not find the blue container.
We have had this cache on our radar for a while now, & eager to get outdoors, it was decided that we would finally tackle this one... With 2 young'uns coming along for the walk we opted for the shorter approach rather than doing the loop
Initially we could not see where the track left off, but after a hop skip & a jump across the small stream we soon spotted the well formed track Along the way we spotted plenty of birdlife, some kangaroos & even saw some wild goats... There was lots of beautiful wildflowers to be seen whilst the kids splashed along the wet muddy tracks All in all, we enjoyed our walk to this one & the kids were happy to make a quick find once at GZ!
TFTC & for bringing us here jesbss [^] Cache was in good condition.

Spent a rainy Sunday afternoon walking around Walyunga National Park picking up a few smilies. Walked 12 km all up after parking just outside the gate. This was find number 3, and I got a bit wet on the way here, but was warm enough after the walk up the hill.
Spent a couple of minutes looking in the wrong places, before stopping, looking around and spotting a likely spot, which is where I found the cache.
Signed the log. TNLN and continued up the hill on my way to Sid's Rock Den. Thanks for the hide jesbss

Great spot and very unexpected to find a lookout tower in Perth. Easy to find in a logical location. Great cache a definite favourite. Tnln
Wow I think I came the hard way in via Syds Rapids. That is SOME hill!!
Quickly found the cache but not where my GPS had it positioned.

An enjoyable walk with Pink_Bilby and friends. This cache was the lunch stop on our 9.5km walk. An easy find for the kids. TFTC.
We approached it from the West from a private property we were house sitting at the time. It was a 2 hour return trip for us. Squeezed in a couple of kids' toys into the cache as there weren't any in there.
The galahs nesting nearby gave me a noisy welcome but my thoughts were on a hidden Milo bar. Alas it was gone! Such a nice walk. So many roos just sitting, watching, rotating their radar ears when wished good morning. Spring flowers galore. Thanks jesbss for bringing me here.
Found after a short search, I was glad I didn't have to go any further up the @#@

Found it and the first cache today that was not surrounded by roos. passed on the milo bar but started to think I should of eaten it about 15 minutes later when I was climbing up th next hill.
Woohoo!! FTF at 2:38pm!
I enjoyed a nice walk up here, following the Echidna walk trail all the way to the cache. I found the coords to be a little bit off, so I've added the ones I took at GZ, but it wasn't a huge search area, and the cache was obvious to find so it didn't take me too long.
I left Mickey's World Tour Travel Bug here for a visit.
The Milo bar sure was tempting after walking all this way, but I managed to restrain myself! After finding the cache I continued up to the top of the hill.
Thanks for the hike and the cache jesbss!
