Easy find. Liked the walk. Is now a small systems not mint. Did not see micro, I think that is well gone.
Another toughie but thanks to the other cachers comments we found it almost immediately
Nice quick find. Had never known this lake was here, until spotting the caches around the back.
A quick leg-stretch on a loooooong drive from Auckland back to Wellington.

Went for a walk to check out the works on the lake, hoping to score a couple of caches. Easy find, hid a bit better.

Out for a full days caching with Kiwis69. The weather forecast wasn't the best, and we hoped we could make the finds between the gaps in the showers. Unfortunately most of the morning there were very little gaps and we spent a lot of time in the rain, shame we couldn't add "may require wading/swimming" attributes to the caches. Sun had come out by the afternoon which allowed us to dry out. Thanks everyone for the placements.
No troubles here.

Found as described on a warm Tokoroa morning. The logbooks are totally saturated including the new piece of paper added recently. The plastic bag is ripped and everything needs replacing. When the works are completed, the ducks are going to love it. As it was, there was a large population in residence. TFTC

Found this one while driving through. Log was wet so I put a piece of paper in. TFTC
A busy walkway today with lots of dog walkers, joggers, bike riders and kids on scooters, but this cache was For The Birds, many thanks.
Out early - daylight saving has finished today Lovely morning and few people out walking - got to GZ and not sure about the 'cross' in the hint but the other part was correct. Cache all good TFTC
Replaced logbook with new one as old one was saturated. Nice lake for a stroll around. Nice quick find.
Found with geofamily on trip home to Tauranga from Mangakino hint straightforward but GPS thought it knew better and led me about 10mtrs away. Took us longer than it should have but all good in the end
hi TYFC, Th e log too wet to sign but was lovely to see Tokoroa s lake park used by walkers and runners. The waterway was great with ducks and plantings.,

Logged a DNF on my walk around the lake 18 months ago but no problem today. As previous finders have mentioned the cache needs some TLC. Logbook has pretty much turned to slush.
Thanks
Thanks
Surprise! There was a slimy slug in the cache! Lid was closed tight, wonder how that got there?
Our first. great fun walking around the lake. Live so close to it and was please to find out there are caches there. Added some stickers for the next finder.
Heading South for a week away at wor so thought that while the rain stays away I better stop for the odd cache.
Soon located, TFTC

Log book sodden and black with mould. Can not sign, so took picture as evidence if required by CO.
The lake looks sad and muddy. Looks like the tide is out.
Thanks bruce32

Heading to the south Waikato to get some new and old caches. Have the bike in the boot incase it is needed.
Fine and clear and about 26degrees and no clouds.

A nice excuse to stop and smell the ... birds... the cache as covered in down but that didn't stop us finding, signing and replacing. t4tc
My first Geocache thingy with the help of Zissas. Been past this spot many times in the past and noticed the interest shown by occasional visitors at this location by the pathway. Now I know why. An easy find if you read the instructions carefully and literally. The instructions are precise once you get to the location and have some meagre understanding of the layout of the area. There is more than one "crossing" but the closest to the coordinates is the one to particularly consider.
#3554. Came here last year and DNF the hanging nano, as it appeared to have gone missing. Returned today for a quick find of the replacement. Didn't find the nano though. The log book was very wet, but was able to air dry it a little. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Heading north for a few days finding caches on the way. A good fairly quick find here. SL TFTC
Junior spotted the likely spot before I'd even decided which hint item, so a nice quick find. We had such a lovely walk today; thanks so much for all the caches around here.
Spent a good half hour looking last time I was here but came back today and located cache the first place I looked.

Couldn't find this on our first search but a quick find on the return trip after finding the others in the area TFTC.
Started the Lake Series with this one. Little did I know at the time that the rest of the series would track back to the car. The sidekick came with me. She didn't appreciate being on the leash and protested. Found the cache eventually. TFTC.
Had the company of happy teenager telling us all about the track over the island, but they soon moved on when the rain arrived. Missed the cacheand was about to give up, then dug deeper to eventually find it.
Stopped here on the way back to Wellington for a walk that I had been intending to do for quite a while but didn't have time for on previous visits. I missed the cache on the first pass, then got it on the second after checking a few other candidate locations. Signed log, TFTC!
No luck today. On reading previous logs now maybe I should have scratched around in the leaf litter a bit more.
Couldnt find this, probably was there but we ran out of time, will try again another time.
6/2/12 @ 6.30pm -third time lucky, cache was out in the open so recovered with the litter, can see why we had missed it previously .SLTFTC
As with the other cachers, I noticed a pretty obvious hiding spot that fits the hint, but nothing in there...
This cache is still there - I checked this evening - it is a mint container now at the base of the tree the nano was once hanging in so co-ords are still the same. it is covered in leaf litter.
Actually found the little possie where it should be but was empty!
Either gone or pushed too far in to the depths!
The only day I didnt have a trusty replacement with me!
OH well.. Thanks for the visit!

Excited to see this had been enabled, still no luck finding, was thinking of planting our own mint container so we could finally claim a find. Is this cache really there or has it been muggled again, will keep on watch list but don't think we will make another special trip to find.
Looks like a bit of tree rage has gone on, cache no where to be seen. I will replace shortly.
This cache was definitely for the birds, searched high and low, for what seemed to be ages, but decided that in the end that I would give it up as there was only so much time that you can really give to each cache and I thought to myself that this was all the time that I was willing to do for this one. Will come back and have another look if I come back this way in the future, oh well a nice spot that I think that I will leave for the birds for the time. DNF
To our disappointment we were unable to locate this one. Hunted and hunted for ages to no avail, will put on our watchlist just in case it has gone missing.
