Unfortunately we are now no longer allowed in this area and all the trail signs have been removed. (Basically any part south of the Bibbulmun track towards the Weir will incur a fine if found in the area.)
Will relocate this series to another spot soon.

Found the cache easily, but there were no more of the 'puzzle' pieces left to find the puzzle caches.
What a hike - we so went the wrong way making it a terrain category of 5. Great spot for a cache Signed log and left skateboard
Thank you! Decided to go camping overnight for something different. Got here later than planned, but decided to head out to grab a couple of caches before setting the tent up anyway. Not sure I was on the right trail, but made my way to the nice GZ with no issues. Took a photo of the clue card for later, as there was only one.
With a certain achievement in mind, I set about tackling this series on a perfect day for a walk around this side of the lake. The start of the track proved to be a little tricky to find (should have read the cache page properly!), but once I spotted a little white triangle in a tree from Allen Rd, i knew i was on my way.
A pleasant walk to this GZ with a few very tame kangas, some noisy red-tail black cockies, and some great views. The cache was quickly found & signed before rehiding as found ... now off to the next one. TFTC Chwiliwr
P.S. There was only one card left in the cache, so I left it there.

Found while on a short one-week holiday to Perth and surrounds.
Needing a decent bushwalk I headed to Mundaring Weir looking for some trails.
I made my way down the track to this great spot. Some great views of the water from up here. I left the clue card for the final as there weren't many, and made my own notes.
By the end of this walk finding a few of the CPS series I had covered almost 10km in just over 2 hours.
Thanks for the cache, Chwiliwr.

A beautiful day for a bush walk and rewarded with some cracking views. A quick find at GZ and I grabbed the second last finders card. You may need to re-stock. TFTC seeker!
Getting a bit late in the afternoon so this was my last find for the day, number 10 and no dnf's.
Took a photo of the finders card as there are only two left in the cache.
Will be back in a few weeks to continue this series.
Dropped my last halfpenny for the day, 1940.

This wasn't the smooth start to the series we had hoped for. After following a track that lead down to the water, we rock hopped for a while and then faced a 350m hike uphill through bush to reach this GZ. At noon it was hot and not so fun. Thankfully we logged this cache and had the energy to continue the walk. Thanks for the cache Chwiliwr. I think this was the only cache in the series that only had a few finder's cards left in it, but maybe there were some that weren't in the bag. Thanks for the hide.
I went in a clockwise direction having been in the area the previous week. I still had a lot of uphill sections, lost the track and myself nearly, I tried hard but found my way.
What a great walk, nice views, kangaroos, claustrophobic pine plantations where only pine trees grew - sterile.
But yeah it was a good walk. Thank you Chwiliwr
Now to find the other two but thats another day

Part 3 in our run another of the CPS circuits. The length and terrain certainly seem to be increasing. Some nice views over the dam and through the bush. We disturbed a few roos in the heat and did not really have any issues with the. hides although mobile reception is very bad in the back half of the circuit and leaves you stranded trying to get the images for the two mystery caches. The track markings are a bit hit in miss and seem not to have enough at key points particularly at intersections and when the track seems to bend away from GZ. We completed the signing duties and have a growing collection of cards.

Thanks for the cache. I imagine this is probably a really nice spot in the daytime. At night, it's...kind of hard to tell.
Did this series in reverse so this was our sixth. We will gather the clues and return another day for the mystery caches.
Left a monkey badge for the kids to trade.

Walked down the trail and made a replacement of both the container and log book which is now in its own bag. Dried of the cards.
Off to a great start locating this one quickly - container has been smashed, but all pieces were there (though very soggy!). Have placed back as best we could but definately needs a new box.
Found by the richlink / iluvtrekking boys team while the girls were off doing the easy stuff. TFTH.
Out with iluvtrekking for a days caching in the hills. The boys volunteered to do the hard slog and completed most of the Mundaring CPS caches while us girls cached in the town itself.
Had a bit of difficulty finding the route to this one. After finding it we decided to return another day for the rest; it was only on the way out that we figured out the route markers..
We went out today to track down the CPS series by Chwiliwr with Kimakazi. I attempted this series last year but when we arrived for some reason the coordinates werent on the Gps except CPS-17. It was a beautiful walk through the bush and a great way to do this series and a couple of others along the Bibbulmun Track. Thanks Chwiliwr the walk.
First Cache found on our GeoCache day with Geobrother and family (Team Khaki). Gorgeous day for a walk in the bush

Great views from here. It took me a couple of minutes to find the cache, but soon had it in hand. I wasn't sure whether I was on the right trail, so took the direct route into here ... my geo-wife complained a bit about that, but all was good in the end. SL. Dropped off Crab Night TB.

Found this one while out and about with Team Setter. Great area to get outdoors and enjoy the bush.

[:(!] After lunch with Go All Blacks, I took a liesurely stroll to find this cache, arrived at GZ and within several minutes I had the cache in hand. TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH
Set off early to do this part of the series, wanted to stay here for a while and enjoy the view but had to get on.
Out for a mornings caching doing this series and a couple of others. A straight forward find on this one. TFTC.
After missing this cache the previous week due to dead GPS, came back with fresh batteries, spares and 2nd GPS.
This time it was not hard to find as we were actually searching in the right place.

Went to Paten's Brook Track for the afternoon. Lovely bushland - lost trail way so wander through the bushland - plenty to see wild flowers and birds. etc. puff puff but finally arrived there and signed the log. Thanks Chwiliwr.
When I first looked at the map I was planning to head for all the close together caches first, and then go to 13 as the puzzles were listed near there, so I started heading down Allen Rd.
As I was walking, I decided to look up the listing for 13 and saw the information about the Paten Brook trail, and that the best way was to do them in order, so I backtracked to the trail started and followed it.
A lovely view at GZ, and probably the longest search I've had yet in the CPS series, but I got there, grabbed the card and headed on my way to 14.
By the way, your TH1 waypoint has exactly the same coords as the GZ for the cache .
Thanks Chwiliwr!

Made a late start for this series of CPS caches so had to keep the accellerater on shanks pony all the way. Had some trouble finding the right tracks to this first one but got there eventually. Lovely view of the dam from here but couldn't linger! Grabbed what was needed, quickly signed log, and off for part two. Thanks for the hunt Chwiliwr.
Beautiful sunny day out caching with Keego and Chil and Me&B. We took the wrong track at the start and had to do a bit of bush bashing. Once on track it was an easy find and some lovely views on the way. TFTC TNLN now onto number 14.
Out on a caching run with GeoWife, Me&B and Trevkevred to do the Mundaring CPS series plus a couple. This was the 1st of the series and we did a bit of bush bashing to get this one. Eventually we made it #1 for the day. Some nice views to Mundaring Dam. SL TFTC

We parked in the carpark near the start of Paten's Track and completed the circuit in an anticlockwise direction as suggested.
The 'gumleaves' guided us around and we only strayed from the track for short distances to find the caches which were all found very quickly.
It was quite a long walk, especially as we had already completed the CPS series at The Spectacles and Karnup this morning and found the final as well. But it is a really beautiful area and now we could take our time.
Thanks Chwiliwr for bringing us here and thanks for the hunts.

Found the cache after passing Austrackers on the trail just after I had completed "Weir oh Weir could it be" we stopped and had a chat before moving on. I calculated the location of the final caches and realised I would have to do some back tracking. I thought these would be like the other caches in the series where the location is quite close to the published coordinates. Maybe I should read the cache page first and follow the instructions. It just means I had to walk further than originally planned, never one to do caches the easy way. Thanks for the cache this was found at 13:45.
Great day for a Geo walk not a cloud in the sky. First was a easy find but not so for the next.
Completed a part of this great walking trail series just yesterday and so I had no plans to
hunt for any more today.
However, plans are there to be broken, and when a text came through from FELIX II,
suggesting that we carry on with the walking trail this morning, I thought, why not.
The forecast for the day was pretty dodgy with rain and showers forecasted, but nevertheless
we proceeded on with the plans.
Unfortunately we did not take the coordinate of the trail head and that resulted in a little uncertainty
as which path would take us on the most direct route to this first Cache.
On arrival at GZ of CP-13, we thought we had found an empty logbook, as we signed the front page, but we later found out we were a good couple of hours behind Blingg who logged online that he had already visited the Cache much earlier that morning.
The coordinates for the second cache CPS-14, of this series seemed to take us off the natural route a little, but it was close to another existing Cache so we decided to head off and find them both...... !!!!!
To be continued....... CPS 14.

Okay so after being at the event for far too long yesterday we managed to get out to Whiteman Park and make a start on this series. So when chatting to The Machman yesterday it seemed he and Mrs Felix might both be able to fit in some caching today. So when details were confirmed this morning, this series was still not logged as found, so why don't we head up there?? Why not indeed. The weather at home before 0900 was no different to yesterday. The odd shower. Well as we got closer to Midland I can tell you I was wondering what on earth we were doing contemplating going walking in that! Midland was awash by the time we got to Great Eastern Hwy & Roe Hwy. Oh well we're nearly there now. Parkedd the car and it was not raining so off we set. Well the first misdirection had us in the campsite. (Maybe we should have taken that as an omen) From here we seemed to take 1 wrong track after another, nearly ending up in the dam! Finally arriving at this cache to log a FTF at 10.44am not! Hmm not sure who signed in the back of the book, but after our false starts, I think I know who it's likely to have been???????
