No luck for me here, had a good look but there was no sign of it anywhere.
Hopefully it is still there, and very well hidden.
Hopefully it is still there, and very well hidden.
This one had disappeared. Guess the recent geocaching workshop nearby, where this cache had been a part off, led to too much attention to this spot and therefore also attracted some teenage (vandalising) muggles. .
Container has been replaced, hope it survives for a while (please be mindful of the nearby skate park).

We DNF'd 1 caches today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here again at around 2:43:00 PM, but we couldn't locate your cache. we did find a white zip tie with a keyring attached though - so another DNF from us.
We think it's gone.

Fun find. Easy find. Thankyou for encouraging us to finally pullover and look at the sculpture up close rather than a moving car!
This cache is an easy one and the answers are very clear. The location isn't far at all from the spider. Great Job guys and plz make more caches like this amazing one

Met up with JackyLegs44 for a spot of caching this morning. It was nice to put another few faces to names/logs.
We had solved the puzzle quite a while back, and had logged a DNF as the container had gone missing once more. We had then seen the cache get disabled, and thought we'd missed out completely.
Fantasic to see this one up and running again, and today we had time to grab it.
Dipped GeoKrety Key Coin.

Happy to see this one is back up and running again after getting the coordinates and finding out the cache had been pruned away. Made new attempt and find today. TFTC
Out and about with MPP and RobS72 to grab some new caches and find some that have been on the radar for far too long. MPP and I had been out looking for this one a while ago but it had been muggled. We started looking at the previous GZ after a couple of minutes of searching RobS72 checked the lisiting and we discovered that it had been moved. We headed over Oralia, grabbed the new co-ordinates and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks corikra for the cache.
Glad to revisit this one now it is back with MattCns and RobS72. Had to get the new co-ords. RobS72 spotted the cache very quickly. TFTC Corikra.
Fourth cache type today and about as many encounters with spiders! Thankfully this one stayed put and was quickly solved, a nice cache just before lunch. S.l, Thanks Corikra, Happy travels.
Replaced the container - same type but slightly different location. I have made some adjustments to the listing to correct the coordinates.

Sorry about the disappointment!
That would be the second time it's been "cut off" by gardeners.
Will replace it as soon as possible.

definitely had the correct coordinates but like the previous cachers searched the whole tree and didn't find anything. Seems like it really got pruned out of existence.
Easy getting the answers for the co-ords, but could not find the cache after thorough searching of GZ with mattcns. I also think that this cache may have been pruned out of existence.
Had coords right and went to the gz and couldn't find the cache looks a like tree might hav been pruned
With geoD a little 'under the weather' with a cold we needed a quick easy cache nearby. The key word in this cache was short and so it proved. We gathered the required information and strolled over to the calculated GZ and geoP spotted the prize as we arrived.

Found this with aid of agile grandson. A scary creature guarding the site. TFTC
Found it! We found it, but had trouble unscrewing it; it was really tight. Whoever was there last had done it up tightly. Then, we had trouble screwing it back on. In the end we got it. A truck went past and so we just acted like we were just resting or something. Hope we didn't look suspicious. TFTC!
Another day caching, enjoying the great weather of Townsville.
As you said, it was a nice easy multi. We enjoyed the walk.
Cache nicely hidden and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache, corikra.

Found by the four year old, after her father couldn't find it the other day Found with the parent cachers, H and T.
Found while visiting Townsville for the "Australia WWFM X - The Townsville Cache Jedi Event Cache". TFTC TNLN SL
Quick find once the GZ was located. Returning the cache became the problem when a car load of muggles decided to park their car right beside the GZ. Plenty of parking spots, but they decided to pick this particular spot. Had to wait 10 minutes for them to move on before I could return the cache. TFTC SL {#178}.
Finally got around to this multi having done the original cache here years ago. Was fun and my kids enjoyed having to "work" for the cache.

At long last got to tick this one off. Got the coords easy but spent awhile looking for the cache. A systematic search takes awhile and of course I started looking from the wrong side but eventually it was only time till the cylinder was found and log signed. Thx Corika for another challenge
As I've knocked over just about every traditional cache in the area I've moved on to the multis. This is one in a cluster out this way that I've never managed to stop for. Today I parked and had a look at this spider, having visited the sister a long time ago. Got the info and made my way to GZ. A car alarm kept going off nearby and a security guy was hanging around, luckily I didn't get any attention.
The search wasn't easy but didn't take long. Signed the relatively new log and the biggest hassle was getting it back in - got to roll up the log tight and get it in the right spot. All done I moved on.
Thanks!

We visited this cache location and enjoyed reading about the Golden Orb spiders. We identified the required information easily enough. With a set of co-ordinates now calculated we set off in search of the cache.
A more detailed search at the cache GZ was required before we located the new container.
Thanks Corikra. Another enjoyable Multi-cache.

Tftc rather easy find now that it's actually there. And for once our name is at the top of the log, even if its not a ftf

Yes, this one has been 'pruned' away .
As it would be a little difficult for the shorter ones amongst us if I replaced it at the 'old' GZ, I decided to move it to a slightly different location. The questions have been amended accordingly .

Will have to check this one and replace as soon as possible if it has been "pruned" away.
With a Terrain of 1.5 it was obvious that recent pruning had taken the cache - either that or the Terrain rating is incorrect.
After the hunt I see that on 1 Sep 2012 Condorito logged "Some branches have been cut off the leafy thing so I think it might have disappeared looked for ages". I agree.
Cache owner needs to check on the cache.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 101 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, making our way from Darwin towards Perth via Townsville, after stopping for a few days in Mount Isa.
After a very nice lunch at the Casino I left the WanderingMrs to satisfy her pokies itch and went off on a Waymarking run, with a tiny bit of geocaching thrown in for flavour.
I took a run out towards Riverway, and this was the only cache I really wanted to find, haqving previously found it's predecessor GC25K9A Meet "Oralia".
Solving GZ was straight forward, and a short walk took me to the probable cache location, but with a Terrain of 1.5 it was obvious that recent pruning had taken the cache - either that or the Terrain rating is incorrect.

Cool - that one had us stumped for a bit. Had to go back and recheck the co-ords to make sure we had calculated correctly. Sure enough, geowife spotted the object just before we all gave up! Very good, we enjoyed this one. The hint gave it away in the end...

Our forty- sixth day of our honeymoon to New Zealand and Australia.
This morning we left around 8.30 AM the Alligator Creek Road House rest area for some caching in Townsville Along the way to the power trail we saw the military training area and the copper factory. We parked our camper van at the Loam Island Boat ramp and walked first South. After finding all caches except one, we returned along the road which was much less amusing then the walk along the river side. As we had parked our camper in the middle we continued our walk along the road to the rest of the caches of the RRPT and after finding the last one, we crossed the road to get an ice cream at the fuel station, as it was hot today. After being back at the car we went to the north to do some multi caches and looked at an African festival. After that we visited some solved mysteries and before returning to the Alligator Creek Road House rest area we visited the Coles to do the shopping for the last week. Now we are using the power supply at the rest area for logging our finds. In our geocaching career we never found a cache on June 16, but today we managed to do some.
We found this cache today at 12.25 PM local time.
After doing the trail we drove to this multi. By reading the listing text first *Ba thought we needed to do some homework first, but Jo* was convinced we could solve all on ground zero. And indeed we could. After answering the easy questions it was just a short walk to the final location. We have for sure spent the most time with searching for the cache. *Ba was at the point by giving up, when Jo* spotted the nacro. Thanks for showing us this art part. After logging we had a look at the nearby festival before going to another multi.

Took us a bit to find, but we eventually did. We're new to it, so our first find. TFTC Nikita and Sara.
The easy part was to get the coordinates now finding this cache is a different story. After some searching luck was on my side as something out of the ordinary caught my eye. Great hide Corika can't want to find more of your caches TFTC

TFTC Apparently we look really shady, as within 15 minutes we'd been pulled up by the police twice. Excellent hide.
#40 This one started with a quick visit to Oralia and then off to GZ? Monkeys started swinging where only monkeys can, while the local touch football teams were finishing up and heading home.
We were about to give up and were all back on the ground when big monkey looked up and there it was.

A very hot and sticky day to be out caching but this one has been on the 'to do' list since arriving in town just after the new year 2012.
Today was the day to come meet Oralia after meeting her sister earlier in the week down in the city.
Got the required numbers no worries and found the cache nice and quick at GZ.
No time to go for a swim today but I will definitely be bringing the family back here when we have more time.
Cheers corikra and happy caching.

17.50 - Solved multi kwikly. took a little longer to sniff out this tricky hide. well done. T4TC.
Alkzura and I had been wanting to get this cache since we arrived in Townsville on holidays. We were hoping to complete the trifecta this one is part of. This is the first of the three for us and it was quickly solved and in hand. Looking forward to getting the others. TFTC

Stopped by to visit Oralia again. We had a bit of a chat and she told me where to find a cache. So off I went. Spotted it after a bit of a surreptitious search, trying not to draw attention to myself. This was rather challenging for Loki but got there in the end. Thanks for the re-make corikra.
a tricky little creature to locate during the day let alone two minutes to midnight.(not quite million dollar views hard eh???) thanks for the new version. sl
Well, starting location may have been in the same spot, but this is most certainly a new cache. Still too keyed up after my time in the jungle and this popped up late tonight, so I thought this might be a good diversion for a few hours. I was right!
The new GZ might be an easy one to work out, but the cache itself is a little tricky to find, well at night anyways.
Thanks Corikra for keeping this one alive.
