Just missed some time travellers, tell us what it's like a month from now! Simple cache but I love to see large boxes with space for trinkets. Tftc!
In the area with the doggo today. Quick easy find here and a good sized container. TFTC!
Winter brings some challenges, e.g. flu or cold symptoms. Had to depart my work (facing multiple customers) for the afternoon. Best to breathe in fresh air and drink lots of water. Get some geofinds for a couple of hours or so. View of Parramatta Lake with unsuspecting muggles walking past. Thanks PETTERSON FAMILY
A quick step up and zigzag and soon enough cache was in our hands. Found with azazzlenic. TFTC.
TFTC Petterson Family. It's been a while since the last cache hunt. Was nice to do a quick lunchtime grab. First time visiting Lake Parramatta. I have been keen to get here for a few years.
Easy find on a morning out. Pretty obvious from a few meters away so we tucked it back in to its home. TFTC!
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 8. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)
Out and about again, headed around Canberra for the MEGA. Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers PETTERSON FAMILY! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
Took a while. Gps all over the place. I was about to give up and continue on our walk when geohubby found it 15m away!!!
Great day wandering around the lakes and surrounds today. This was a fun one. Tftc!
Quiet today. Not many mingles, so had plenty of time to look. Beautiful place. TFTC
Finding some nice bush in the city! Our first of the lap of the lake thank you
In Australia for work, the women's world cup, and today a late start. So in the morning some time to do some geocaching. Looked at the map and this looked like a nice park. But expected more of a city park, but is a very nice not feeling like being in the city park with a proper hike around the water. Started with 10 and worked my way backwards. Thank very much for showing this nice spot of nature. Seen some nice reptiles and birds along the way.
And so I also found LAKE PARRA MATTA and converted into a smiley.
PETTERSON FAMILY thanks for the cache. Greetings from the Netherlands .

perfect little cache to start the day! my first time at Lake Parramatta despite living close for 6 years and I wish I'd come sooner
In Sydney for the weekend and introducing my niece to geocaching. After going to the movies we came to this area for a walk and to find some caches. This find was a great one to start. TFTC
Out for a spot of caching after a hiatus on a day that was to be raining but the clouds parted long enough for us to enjoy the walk around the lake. Was with contactpete, Czech_That_Out and UnicornPrincess418.
Found this relatively fast. GPS was all over the place under the trees so we had a look at a few places before finding it.

Out for a walk with mummy (spy 79), daddy (contactpete) and BB (Czech_That_Out). Was a long walk and my legs hurt but we did have fun finding these caches around the lake.
Found this one after a little look around.

Today me and DBJ decided to go for a nice walk around Lake Parramatta. She grew up the in the area, so she knew the trails well, but I’d never been here before. We managed to find almost all of them, and gave a lot of effort to the ones we couldn’t find. I enjoyed the walk, it felt further than it was, but it was quite beautiful, although the water is dirty.
This was our first find. We initially came up a little too early and had to navigate spiders and bushes. Eventually we went above and dropped back down to find the cache (DBJ found this one (0-1)). Signed log, TFTC.

Looked in wrong area for a while but eventually recalibrated and found it! No oen
Nice easy quick find and a beautiful lunch spot. A nice hint helped us. Found with aspitbiker. TFTC.
Found after taking part in an orienteering event in the area. Can’t believe we have not been here before. Lovely walks around the water with boats to hire too. Had lunch quite close to GZ and then made a quick find. TFTC
First one for the day. Nice hiding spot. Had to destroy a few spider webs to find it though. TFTC.
With two hours spare before the GCNSW Christmas event, geodog and I decided (well, I decided. She seemed happy about it.) to make a start on the caches around the lake. The size of this one meant it didn't take long to spot likely hiding spots, and the fact that the camouflage wasn't all in place meant that we saw it as soon as we got close. A quick signature and camo restoration was followed by a photo opportunity for the hound and we were off again. Looks like we might find a few at this rate.
At Lake Parramatta today with GGCoconut for the GCNSW Christmas event. Arriving early we hoped to grab a couple of caches before the event start. Following the lovely track around the lake, we soon cut off into the bush and made our way up the hill to GZ. After a minute, we soon spotted the nicely concealed and well sized cache. Unfortunately we didn't have time to grab any more in this series as it was time to go join the event. But we will definitely come back another time as this seems like such a lovely area. Tftc!
Gps signal kept bouncing around. I saw the geocache from the corner of my eye. TFTC
Despite the hundreds of muggles around today due to the stunning weather and continuing lockdown, after a short search we had cache in hand. Took nothing, left a red ball. TFTC
Took me a moment but I found it! Gps was being a bit of a bugger but there were a few spots that were obvious enough.
Ah there you are. Signed and replaced the camo as found.

I had planned to come today to the lake. I woke this morning and it was raining. Thankfully it cleared up. First one for the day and spotted a tell time sign of a hiding cache. Nice spot.
What a lovely day for geocaching while walked around the Lake Parramatta. I took a little while to find it. TFTH
