Unfortunately we are now no longer allowed in this area and all the trail signs have been removed. (Basically any part south of the Bibbulmun track towards the Weir will incur a fine if found in the area.)
Will relocate this series to another spot soon.
Container was not there so assumed completely burnt

Originally I was waiting for the vegetation to grow again but now there are conflicting reports that walkers are not supposed to be on the trail that these caches were placed near so until this is sorted I am not replacing the cache or enabling the listing.
On a walk in the area we attempted this series. Unfortunately there has been a recent burn off and the cache doesn't seem to have made it.
Hopped off the trail once again to find the last cache in the series. Happy to make the find at gz, before heading back to the trail and calculating the finals.
A little more climbing, and it was soon time to leave the trail by quite a few meters more than usual. An easy bush bash soon had me at GZ for an easy find, where i added my name to the log, grabbed the ZZZ Bluey TB, and rehid the cache as found . I would have left another TB here, but thought it may not be found in a while, so refrained.
Thanks for the cache and the series Chwiliwr ... all good with this one as well

Found while on a short one-week holiday to Perth and surrounds.
Needing a decent bushwalk I headed to Mundaring Weir looking for some trails.
Finally at the 'top', and all the clues had been gathered for the 2 finals. The caclulations were quick, but the rest was long. Why rush in such an enjoyable bush environment?
Thanks for the cache, Chwiliwr.

Last one I needed to find those last two cache's, should be easy, just get the right numbers and I'll have the co-ords. Now where are those printouts of the details for CPS29 & 30 that I did before coming out? Should be in the backpack somewhere?? But no . . , they are still sitting on the table back home. Looks like another trip coming up next weekend to finish this series.
Added 1921 penny and 1942 halfpenny to cache.

So glad I had my trusty MDV along for the journey; even though he's not much of a help in finding plastic in the bush these days, he's the best carrier of iced water I know , and his company makes for a safer adventure for me. A little wander uphill from the previous find to log this cache before finding a shady spot to sort of the puzzles. Thanks for the cache Chwiliwr.
Might have helped if I had read this instruction before setting out. I went in a clockwise direction having been in the area the previous week. I still had a lot of uphill sections, lost the track and myself nearly, I tried hard but found my way.
What a great walk, nice views, kangaroos, claustrophobic pine plantations where only pine trees grew - sterile.
But yeah it was a good walk. Thank you Chwiliwr

Part 3 in our run another of the CPS circuits. The length and terrain certainly seem to be increasing. Some nice views over the dam and through the bush. We disturbed a few roos in the heat and did not really have any issues with the. hides although mobile reception is very bad in the back half of the circuit and leaves you stranded trying to get the images for the two mystery caches. The track markings are a bit hit in miss and seem not to have enough at key points particularly at intersections and when the track seems to bend away from GZ. We completed the signing duties and have a growing collection of cards.

Did this series in reverse so this was our first. We will gather the clues and return another day for the mystery caches.
Found a python curled up enjoying the sun before we found the cache.
Left a fancy red pen for the kids to trade.

Staying at the camp for the night, we decided to get the last two now and work on the puzzle tonight.
Well without any instructions, we just don't know what to do with the clues. Are we missing something here?
Update: Yes we were missing the pictures in CPS-29 and CPS-30. These did not come across into my Garmin Colorado. Back at the car we fired up the phone and looked it up in NeonGeo and it all became clear. It was also clear that we were not walking back to the CPS-29/30 locations.
We'll be back! It is a lovely location for a day walk and a good excuse to visit the Mundaring bakery again.

Last cache found no probs - quickly solved the puzzle and off to 29 & 30 - Thanks so much for a lovely series!
It was very satisfying completing this bunch of caches, don't think I've ever walked this far before! Looking forward to doing the rest of the CPS series.
Found by the richlink / iluvtrekking boys team while the girls were off doing the easy stuff. TFTH.
Out with iluvtrekking for a days caching in the hills. The boys volunteered to do the hard slog and completed most of the Mundaring CPS caches while us girls cached in the town itself.
We went out today to track down the CPS series by Chwiliwr with Kimakazi. I attempted this series last year but when we arrived for some reason the coordinates werent on the Gps except CPS-17. It was a beautiful walk through the bush and a great way to do this series and a couple of others along the Bibbulmun Track. Thanks Chwiliwr the walk.
Yay,last clue,,, time to sit for a while and work out the two mystery locations. Legs are very happy for the break

Arrived at the point where I had to depart from the track to make the grab and suggested to geo-wife that we have a cuppa while I worked out the puzzles and put the coordinates into the GPSr for the two finals. That suggestion was well received and I plodded off into the bush expecting a cup-of-tea to be ready on my return. Turns out the tea-bags were in my back-pack, so the cuppa was on hold until I came back! Didn't take long ... quick find, SL and grabbed card.
We sorted out the tea-bags and took the opportunity to relax for a bit, sitting in a little clearing just off the track ... had a nice cup of tea, listened to the birds, admired the autumn light twinkling through the trees and enjoyed being there with just the bush and us.

Found this one while out and about with Team Setter. Great area to get outdoors and enjoy the bush.

[:(!] Went with Go Allblacks and his family for a liesurely stroll to find this cache, arrived at GZ and within minutes the young six year old from Go Allblacks had spotted the cache's hidding spot. TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH
Another easy find sat down to work out the cordinates for the bonus caches.
Last series for Final. but I haven't find Ball Creek Hill so decided go there first before final - signed the log. Thanks Chwiliwr.
Still enjoying this walktrail, and it's now merged with the Bibbulmun Track. It was been easy to follow the whole way, and well sign-posted.
Another quick find for the last trad here, and I gathered the info I needed and put the coords in for the two puzzles, which were conveniently along the trail back to the car.
Thanks Chwiliwr!

The luckly last card in this series collected, and how thoughtful to have a 'table' right next to the hide. Set all the cards out and worked out the two finals, then packed everything away and set off yet again. Starting to get a bit gloomy and overcast by now... Thanks again, Chwiliwr.
Last of the 6 and a chance to sit down and work out the 2 bonus caches. Me&B is now photographing the lovely early wild flowers, this area must be beautiful in the spring. TFTC TNLN
A sunny warm Saturday morning...and what better to do than do a series in the bush with like minded people

Out on a caching run with GeoWife, Me&B and Trevkevred to do the Mundaring CPS series plus a couple. Ok the last one before the to bonus caches, we were thankful for the toilets before we got to climb here. My memory is going, I think TrevKevRed found this one. OK time to get the cards out and find the last 2 caches, being a bit more organised than last time, it was not long before we were on our way, SL TFTC
We parked in the carpark near the start of Paten's Track and completed the circuit in an anticlockwise direction as suggested.
The 'gumleaves' guided us around and we only strayed from the track for short distances to find the caches which were all found very quickly.
It was quite a long walk, especially as we had already completed the CPS series at The Spectacles and Karnup this morning and found the final as well. But it is a really beautiful area and now we could take our time.
We sat on the rocks for a few minutes here to work out the final co-ords for the 2 puzzles.
Thanks Chwiliwr for bringing us here and thanks for the hunts.

Found the cache quickly and worked out one side of the coordinates, will have to go to another two caches to find the other set. Now detouring off the series to pick up the two Ball creek caches. Thanks very much for this enjoyable series.
Not the last as I will return to do CPS-14 now that I have learned to read the logs before starting and that's ok it is a lovely are to come back to. Thanks for the caches Chwiliwr
"FTF"@ 1100 last of these trads for today now to try for the puzzle caches with one card missing

The last of the six traditionals Caches.
With all six collectors cards found we then sat about working out the coords
for the two puzzles in the rain...
I was hoping to find the two Ball creek caches as we were close by, but the coords
for the final puzzles took us in the opposite direction and due the continuing inclement weather
we decided to make a dash and find the last two to complete this series.

Quickest find of this section I think. Found at 1324. We must be faster at swimming than we are at walking. Definitely lots quicker between caches now! Another downpour followed us from here, just to make sure we weren't getting too confident. We'll keep plodding on. TFTC Chwiliwr
