I had decided to take a day off from work (being such a wonderful day) and try for 50 finds in a day. Ultimately it was not to be for many reasons, including a few DNF's, the need to pick the kids up from school, and some difficult caches. In any event a good day was had by jsmyong55 and myself and this was one cache we were able to find. A nice easy find here once the muggles had left. Luckily there were no kids around! Thanks Macsix
Trailrunning had asked me a couple of days before if I was free on Friday for a run. I had classes till early afternoon but once he told me its his birthday and he will be aiming for a 50 cache run, I knew I had to have a go at that, eventhough if it meant skipping class.
Aiming for a 50 cache run with only 7.5 hours was a little too ambitious. Of course we did not manage 50 but I got to about 35 which was pretty good. We had started off well in the start, but a couple of long trail runs, heavy bushwhacking and off-trail hiking really threw us off. It was a lot better slowing things down and enjoying the adventure than racing for time.
Love playground caches when there are no muggles around. I found this easily. Signed the log and off we went. TFTC Macsix

Found this one tonight on a night caching run. I had the old or wrong coordinates which were pointing me away from the playground (may have copied down the wrong coordinates). Used my caching sense and the clue and found it quickly after deciding to look in the playground.

Just after 6 so getting dark. Good way to end a Friday to find a geocache after a hard days work.
Thanx for this one I used to play here as a kid when there was pretty much just a giant slide

Found on another legendary night caching run with my best mate Marty (Quasar3671). Nice quick night find. TFTC.
Out on a night caching run with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend), which took us up into the Dandenong Ranges for the night. Parked the car and made the short stroll to GZ where we found the cache shortly afterwards. Thanks for the hide.
Great Hide. I love the thought of all those kiddies running and playing right next to the cache. Also it's nice to see a few more caches pop up close to home.

16:00. Another cache where accessorising your caching with geokids is essential. We had to work hard to avoid the muggle and son who seemed determined to stay. Fortunately with my two being up, down, under and over I had a good chance to look. When I found it I thought "Wow, I wonder how long this one will last. It will be interesting to see how well it hides in plain sight. We retreated to the picnic table to sign the log and after a stealthy return (as the muggles were still there) we were finally on our way to granny's with three under our belts for the trip. Thanks Macsix.

Quick find, will be interested to see how long this one lasts and at least there was nobody in the playground with this one.
Lucky to find this location free of muggles. Quickly found and logged, with CrustyK9 the 2nd. tftc.
