Could not find it and consulted with fellow cacher who had previously seen it, on this evidence believe it has been removed, perhaps the dead didn't like caching? Starryowl
Bogonghazy and I both searched at GZ and then spread our search even though there really was only one place to hide it. Given it was only found 10 days ago, makes it even more strange. Checked on the ground in case it has fallen, checked everywhere to no avail.
On a day's caching covering a heap of towns around ballarat with Sully1, we covered over 300km for about 30 caches. No luck here despite previous finders mentioning seeing it from a distance.
After 2 false starts we finally found a road that went to GZ. Saw some nice bush land and found out how well I could back the car on the way here. Nice easy find once we got there.
Wandering the cemetary to huge thunder claps and lots of lightning, not a good thing, found it easily, It isnt well hidden and can be seen, replaced where it was, maybe needs a bit of camoflauge.
Found while out on a caching day with highrod, ST37E, S 4 Sammy and TilleyTB.
A nice quick find. ......tftc

Found as part of our strategy for the Geosportz 2012 challenge. A busy road and beautiful specimen trees. Didn't wander around the graves, strategies to complete.

Found it today in the company of Mrs Iamapom on a day trip to central Victoria.
One of the most intriguing aspects is the division of different sections of the graveyard - Roman Catholics way over there, and "Suicides" beyond that. "Chinese" way off on their own.
Amazing.
Oh yeah, thanks for the cache !

Pulled up and someone was doing a bit of maintenance. So I wandered round till they were finished. I think this type of tree must be in every cemetry, and most of them must have caches in them!
Thanks for bringing me to this peaceful spot.
Thanks for bringing me to this peaceful spot.
I was expecting a rough bush cemetery but instead we found this place so well cared for that even GZ looked as though it had been carefully topiaried!
Thanks robeert

A short walk from the car to this deserted and well cared for place.
Lovely day for a drive in the country today.

Found at 5.36pm. I can honestly say that this is the best maintained cemetery that I have seen. The community should be very proud. Cache was an easy find. TNLN. TFTC.
Found 1.40pm
As we arrived here we thought we might have problems as there were a number of workmen close by, it turned out that they were too busy working to watch what we were doing. The cache was soon found and logged.

Impassive location, very neat and tidy for a rural one of these. Cache found and log signed. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1615. Now that's more like a cemetery. Mary is fascinated by graveyard architecture, symbolism and social history, and this place scored well. According to the plan on the shed wall, the area was planned to be very divided, with even a separate area for suicides! Our thanks again to robeert and Jonnykins.
found by Bevfre This anew area for me nice easy drive by NT LN SL Thank you Robeert
Nice spot amd a nice country cemetery to wander around looking at some of the graves
Found @ 1155 Hrs on the second day of caching in the area after attending the Event Cache of Spladem with Moosetash. This trip took us through a tour of the Victorian Goldfields with some fantastic history & photo op's.

Very nice cemetary - very quiet. This is the third one we've been to this weekend. It was a quick find on the way home, thanks for the cache robeert.
A great little cemetery, more history, which we love. Thanks for bringing us here.

We have visited a lot of these history filled cemeteries since starting geocaching and this one was no exception. They really highlight the hardships of living and working in what would have been a remote area back then. You only have to look at the Grant's headstone to see that out of the six children that they had, five passed away before they did and the one that did out live them didn't make it to a very good age. Unfortunately this wasn't an uncommon occurrence for the times.. luckily for us the cache had a much happier ending and was located without too much trouble and we have no added our name to the growing log.
Thanks robeert & jonnykins, we hope to find more eof your descendants as time goes on

This cemetery is much more loved than its neighbour. Mr Morris found the hide in no time and he's tall. We took the GC to continue its travels. TFTC
Found this one in a lovely well maintained cemetery. Spraying was in progress when we arrived. Thanks robeert
1578 On arrival I was asked if I knew where someone was, they were a bit inclined to want to stop and chat. Left frog TFTC robeert&Jonnykins

Found by Roma and Max.
Only a short drive from our previous find and this time a perfectly manicured venue although perhaps not quite as much history as the other one!
Our 2nd FTF this morning.
Thanks again robeert for this geo experience.
Cheers,
from Romax.
