Logs
Monday - and its time to head home. We met up with everyone for the morning before heading to a couple of caches together, then we split from the gang and started our slow trek home. We stopped for caches, so it took us all day to get home. But we had fun doing so. Warragamba was probably the highlight for me. We spent quite a bit of time there, including having lunch at the takeaway. It wasnt too bad, just fish and chips and we sat at one of the AL WPs at the recreational area. Then it got late and the last couple of hours was just driving directly to home. This cache: Nicely done. Have seen one like this before thank goodness, a little experience makes for quicker finds (sometimes). Tftc!!!
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban on our Canberra Penrith invasion! Thanks The Booos!
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC. The second day of caching Penrith with the Canberra mob (CPI24). Today was a trip to Katoomba in the blue mountains finding many old and interesting caches.Lots of great treks with fantastic views.Final dinner was not at the Panthers club with the grand final on tonight. An excellent cache camo on the way back to Camden. Awesome.
Awesome camo, can see why it has so many fave points (plus one more now!) - walked right past it to get closer to what I thought would be GZ when Geohubby spotted it. Still took a bit for my eyes to notice it even after a hint! TFTC
A great example from the CO of a Maker Magic event next week. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the only cache like this in Australia.
Geodog and I are on the road back from an event at Wentworth Falls to one at Warragamba. The latter was meant to be the 21st and final find I needed for the solstice souvenir, but then I remembered that this cache is a little isolated on my map and we're driving right past. So why not a bakers' solstice - 22 finds.
We parked up and walked across the road to the trees. It was just a case now of picking the right tree. Thankfully there wasn't too much wandering before something that didn't quite match caught my eye. Such inventive camouflage though. A quick signature and then we were back to the car.
I have my own Glenmore historic home story. My family has a connection to another, smaller, locality called Glenmore south/south-west of here. When a relative was building his house in the late 1980's a truck driver, unable to find the address as he was in the wrong Glenmore, decided the best thing to do was to unload the frames on the golf course and go back to the factory. I understand that no-one was particularly happy that day.

On our way home from the mountains and oldmorty and I made a detour south of the M4 to find a few more caches in the area.
Quick find by me as I caught a glint of silver in the corner of my eye. Great camo.
Thanks to The Booos for placing this cache.

On our way to do an Adventure Lab from Booo Booo, frazeydaze and I stopped off to grab a few nearby caches. With so many FPS this one was a must to stop at. We debated whether the find was real or home made - not saying who thought what, but it's certainly worthy of a FP from me.
Thanks for placing this cache Booos.

Found on a caching day out with Dan of SueDan83.
The area around GZ looks like it's recently been pruned and cleaned up so wasn't sure if the cache would still be there.
But I quickly spotted the natural camo with the cache safely inside.

Heading south on Mulgoa Road I missed GZ but managed to pull over at a paving place and leave the geomobile there while I walked back to GZ.
The ground was really boggy and muddy and some water was still lying in this shaded area. Reminds me of Outback Queensland where I two weeks ago in the rain bomb up there. Fortunately I was able to avoid the mud - unlike Queensland.
This CO usually has very good co-ordinates so I didn't venture far from where the GPS pointed. A quick search and a bit of a think about where I should look and I spotted the cache.
Now I haven't seen any camo quite like that before!
Yep, very unique so worth a favourite from me.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short 3 day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas between Penrith and Warragamba, including a stop-off on arrival day at St Marys. Hoping to collect some previously solved Puzzle caches and to also complete the Adventure Labs at St Marys, Penrith and Warragamba. Will also be on the hunt for Natural Wonders and Solar System Wonders, to complete the Wonders of the World souvenir challenge.
Today we headed out to Warragamba for the Adventure Lab and the cluster of Traditional caches, then cached around Wallacia and back along Mulgoa Road to Mulgoa. This was our 29th find of the day, and 51st find of the holiday.
A quick find of the cache, but a really nice job on the camo of this one. It looks so realistic. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The nearby letterbox was also interesting. TFTC The Booos.

Just catching up on logs. Amazing camo! We have some of the real ones in our garden at the moment! TFTC!
A quick park and grab as this storm is setting in. Very cool and creative camo! Tftc!
I found this one on the ground a fair way from the tree so put it back where I thought it should be. Apologies if it isn't quite the right spot. TFTC.
This one is fantastic although no room on paper left to sign but it’s a great find! Trust coordinates for sure

#2856 after 2 caches near Windsor came looking for this one on it's way anniversary of being hidden. It took a while for the GPSr to join me in the search and soon found the cache. So a very bad rendition of Happy Birthday was mumbled quickly before signing duties were done

With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache The Booos. Others have told me about this one but couldn't remember which one. So like others this does deserve another favourite

Interesting use of a container if you were to study Lepidopterology . Found the cache quickly after reading previous logs and knew what to look for. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

A lazy Sunday caching in the Silverdale/Warragamba area, bagging a total of 20 finds for the day. Most caches were easy finds, a couple had us testing our caching senses
This one had us walking around for what it seemed like ages, checking all likely areas, and it wasnt until the Mrs turned around to talk to Hubby when she saw it and said 'You've got to be kidding me'.... with a glint of a sparkle, she had found the cache
Definite FP here
