### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention
Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook. Unfortunately, there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log for this cache, which leads one to the contention that the cache container is no longer weather proof.
A basic tenet of geocaching is that **the cache log needs to be signed to record a find,** see here: [Logging of All Physical Geocaches](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging). At the moment this would seem to be extremely difficult if not impossible to meet that requirement in regard to this cache. I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; ***"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."*** see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance ) and here's how; [Temporarily Disable and Enable,](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) also check out this Blog: [Helpful Tips To Keep In Mind As A Geocache Owner.](http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/)
Please respond to this situation by **25th June** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

It was easier to find than I expected. The log book is damp and the early records are fading away. Tftc.
I hadn't walked up this path for many years and was appalled by the environmental weeds -- ivy, angled onion, honeysuckle and wandering trad -- choking the bush.

Always good to find a larger cache! I wasn't sure how I'd get to GZ looking at the maps but that revealed itself once there. Log is a bit damp but the container wasn't wet. Thank you
could not find anywhere someone give us a few hints, spend all morning in the bushes only to find nothing
I think I found it if it's blue... If not I was on the other side if the river.
*10/07/2016, Found @ 3:43 PM, Find # 5501.*
While in the area, I time for one more find so I headed over to this one.
Being wet today the tracks were very slippery, I made to GZ and was able to make a quick find, not sure what the hammock part is.
This container is not very water tight, therefore there was some water inside, probably needs replacing.
I signed the log with the only thing I had and took the TB.
**Thanks to HarleyGal/Cactus for placing this cache.**

For 7 years I have lived 100m away from this gc. Tucked away nicly. Still good condition considering its been there since 2011. Thanks
In Warrandyte dropping of some stuff at a friends place and needed a cache or two on the way home.
Nice spot on the river, thanks for bringing me here.

We parked near a playground and had a pleasant stroll to gz, as we approached gz Geoturtle spotted the cache, which was poorly hidden and had the container lid half off. Expecting the worst, we opened it to find that luckily the log book was completely dry in its bag. Log signed, we made sure the lid was on tight, and re hid the cache to be much more muggle proof. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
I think the local landcare group are likely to come through here soon, as they have done a fair swathe either side recently.
We found this cache today at 1:15pm as number 3 of 24 on our Aqueduct Tour of Research. We parked to the east and enjoyed a little walk along a bit of the Yarra that we were yet to explore. We had to poke around a few trees before finding the largish cache. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
This one was a little tough due to the GPS jumping all over the place, but when it finally settled, it lead me to the right place. The cache is nicely hidden, and in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to this lonesome place.
Lovely walk down here by the river. TFTC It's fairly exposed in its present position but hopefully safe for now.

The sun's shining, the birds are singing, and I haven't been out caching in a while. That's reason enough to take a drive in the country.
This was one cache that I had eyed off several months ago while approaching my 2000th find. That night, I missed the turnoff, and decided (wisely, I think) that it might be better in daylight. Today, negotiating my way through the circuitous roads to get close, I took a short stroll for a surprisingly easy find.
Thanks, Harleygal/Cactus.

Day search was a much easier find, dunno how I mashed it. , anyway it's now a smiley, TFTC
Took the scenic drive home tonight and picked up a couple of cache on the way. tftc.
I like this game. More fun with the kids, getting out & breathing the morning air.
Found this afternoon with Kirstmac, we took the hard way in, but after a brief search the cache was quickly acquired. Nice spot by the river. This cache marked our 600th find . tftc.
Very first find. Emma and Aaron no longer cache virgins!!! On to the next one! Good hiding spot. Need long arms.
My GPS would not lock in, but I roughly worked it out via satellite and found a geotrail and spied the hide - lucky find!!
A nice stroll on a sunny day along the river, a quick easy find. Thanks for the cache.
That was fun slipping on my but. TFTC one of the few we are hunting for tonight thanks for the effort.
I found this today, sitting out in the open by a tree. The gpsr was all over the place amongst the bush setting. I replaced the cache at the same location, but under some vegetation for safety. tftc.
Crusty.

First find so close to home. 3 year old loved it! Note to us remember to bring treasures next time
Tftc! While others were stuck in thorns I saw the cache from 10m in the dark. No TB in this one.
Wow. This was not a good idea for a night hunt but our determination wasnt letting us give up. Cj Curry took the lead and attempted to take us the 'direct route' which happened to take us cross country over rocks, through blackberries and through dark dence green bush. We EVENTUALLY got to GZ and started our hunt. CJ Curry and myself getting stuck in blackberries and Erin-Rose taking a rest had her spot the cache. We enjoyed a rest at GZ and made ourselves at home only to be disturbed by some close by gunshots had us jump up and make a dash back for the car. .. managing to find 'the real path'
Three-quarters of Team EPIC took this one on in the darkness. At first, Erin-Rose and malea263 opted to follow my efforts, so I chose the most direct path to the cache - the fenceline. Once near GZ I was held up by a lot of thorn bushes while Erin-Rose extracted the cache. We relaxed for quite a while after that, enjoying the serenity and the not-quite-full moon. We shortly realised there was a track we could head back on, so we opted for that direction for our way back.
TFTC - enjoyed this one!

Took master D and the Geo-whippet to this great park for a play and a quick treasure hunt! Thanks, my son loves these easy finds!
My GPS was leading me astray, so I trusted in the geo-trail to lead me onwards. Found the cache super quickly that way.
This is such a great little area, I'll definitely have to come back with the dogs for a swim next hot hot day! Tnln tftc

Stinking hot day. Dipped our heads in the river. Beautiful. Thanks for the cache.
A nice easy-to-find cache to make sure I finished the month with an average of at least 1 per day... Actually it was a bit too easy to find as it was lying in the open behind a bush - not visible from the track but easily seen once you left it. I have left a little better hidden but not quite in accordance with the Hint because I wasn't sure where it really should go. The cache had a little water in it from being left lying upside down on the ground.
I have left Hair Bare Pet Rock TB to have a little sleep in The Hammock until someone else picks it up for some travels.

Another week, and another TDC run. Again with Rebel. We cached Frankston, Seaford, and had plans to get stuck into the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens, but as TR stated in his log, the gates were indeed locked, so that went out the window. Another pleasant night with great company. I even grabbed a few the others had done, before I met up with the rest of the crew.
Another one grabbed before meeting up with the guys. I don't know what happened here, but I completely missed it on the first look. Got it in the end. TFTC.

A crappy day for caching but a nice time walking with RebelActs and Crazy!NatGirl looking for caches in the area. Thanks guys it was a great time!
Found in the company of Crazy! Nat Girl and Trailrunning on a late afternoon cache trip to clean up a coue of my closest caches to home, this was a nice short walk along a track that seemed popular with dog walkers, we had no trouble finding this one. Thanks for the cache.
Amazing little area I bet the locals don't want anyone knowing about. Kids had a ball on the playground and throwing sticks in the river. Left World map, happy meal toy and woollen dolly. Took medal, crayons and toy cat. Thanks. Also a very unusual hiding method!
A twilight session of soccer was going on in the park and B1 & B2 portrayed the perfect hiking team as we walked down the track. B2 in a bright red jacket, which had little style for camouflage amongst the flora. Searching through this area and nearly being caught by the muddy soccer players returning home for dinner, B1 blended beautifully like a grasshopper amongst the greenery, however, B2's disguise as a red berry wasn't so Ivy League. Therefore B1 deserved to find this cache. Thanks HarleyGal/Cactus for our first evening cache.

Find # 1742
I headed out today despite the misty rain that had just started, I was determined to get another ten caches today as I have set myself a target of getting my 2000th cache at Groundspeak Headquarters in Seattle when I go there in August. I estimate I need another 200 caches before I leave Australia. Today the plan was to start near Heidleberg and then head towards Eltham area.
This is to be my tenth and last cache for the day. I parked nearby and wandered along the riverside track, bumped into a local kid fishing, he had caught two fish. continued along, arrived at GZ and soon after with the help of the hint, I found the cache.
Thanks to HarleyGal / Cactus for the cache. TNLN.

We were in the area due to the annual Boroondara scout raft race, so the opportunity presented itself for a cache - of course!.
This cache was found after seeing off Geodaughter on a raft upstream of the GZ. A somewhat unusual hiding spot, but probably wise considering the area. Afterwards, I found a spot down by the river to wait the passing of the rafts. See photo.
Thanks HarleyGal/Cactus - Great isolated spot.

Found at 12:14 PM GAFF1. On our way to a lunch at a nearby friends place and we had enough time to explore this area and find a cache. After all the rain that we had, the track down to the river was very slippery with that nasty camber. Went around in a circle until the brightly coloured container was spotted from below. The river as expected was flowing fast and was a typical light coffee colour.
Thanks HarleyGal/Cactus, Took TB.

Found on a verywet Monday afernoon. I left a TB with a log - fisrt I've seen and a good idea. took a dolphon. Thanks Harleygal/Cactus.
A beautiful lazy name for a beautiful lazy hunt on a beautiful lazy day!
Found at 16.50 on 10/2/12. Left a key tag. An electrical storm was brewing and thunder was rolling up and down the Yarra valley. Earlier in the afternoon I had tried to walk from the now suspended 'Yarra Tunnel View' cache along the river bank to the Hammock's coordinates. In retrospect that was not a good idea as the track petered out after the first of the three kilometres.
I have been along large parts of the river over the decades but don't recall having ever been here. Near GZ the GPS gave up but the hint had the good hide without any problems, thanks.
Wandered a few metres further along to have a look at the river too.

Out on my own today and thought I would beat the heat. Parked near the playground and did a walk passed the families enjoying the family time. Just a short walk to GZ.. Checked the hint after taking in the area. How excellent of nature to make such resting place. How do you find these places guys.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
2nd of a couple this morning while out and about for some chores. I think I took the wrong way in but it was very pleasant walking alongside the river nevertheless. GZ was a real haystack area so a quick squiz at the hint soon had me with the stash in hand at 11:05, and made me realise what the cache name meant .
TNLNSL, although our Happy New Year to the cache geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks HarleyGal/Cactus.

Ditto to what Cycling_guy has said.... This was my first experience with iphone caching, and geez!! Makes me thankful for my old crummy Garmin
In the end we simply wandered gingerly down the path (to avoid slipping) and looked for possible hides and cacher trails. in the end we spotted one which led to a cache hide unlike any I'd ever seen before. Well done!! It's rare to find something incredibly new, and this was to me!

Happy Chappies and I were at a family get together and we were getting a bit bored. So I checked my iphone to see if any new caches had been published since we were last here. BINGO!!! Off we went, only to find out we didn't have a GPS, only the IPhone, which ups the difficulty by a star or two
To make a long story short, we found it in the end. IPhones, as a GPS, they make a great phone )
Thanks for the nice hide

Drove on some very narrow roads to get here. And it wasn't a rainy day but some of the track was extremely slippery due to the moss!!! Found the cache easily. I see how it got its name - very clever. TFTC
Found at 3.55pm As we were both home we went for the drive. After a short walk we came across the well named hide. TFTC and the pretty spot
GMelb has a day off work today so we decided to clear up more caches in our 10km zone. This was 4th on the list for today and it was a nice little walk to the cache which was a very cute hide and very aptly named! TNLNSL

Needed a cache for the day and this was closest. A nice walk along the river although slippery in parts. The MO seems to have become popular of late so cache quickly recognised and logged at 2:35pm. TNLN TFTC
16/08/2011 22:36 Found: {*2TF*} As I needed a find today and this one was not logged online I thought I would give other a shot. I also noted that it is not recommended st night but that is when I go caching so I was a little concerned I would have issues. Got to GZ and the nüvifone was not happy with all the tree cover. Looked in a couple of places scratching my wrist in the process before checking the hint and suddenly spotting a reflection by the light of my headlamp. Now I see how the cache got the name. Quite fitting. TFTC Took TBD LN SL
