Sunday funday! We got up early and headed to Jordon Springs for breakfast. It was quite nice and one of the yummiest mochas I have had in a while. After that we met up with our friends (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Flintstones, Aquilus1 and sacada) to cache up to Katoomba and back. The day had its good points and bad:Good - great company, fabulous views, amazing places, finding caches and fantastic food. Bad - too many muggles, AL and Geocaching App meltdown. So frustrating! We found a handful of caches and got back to Penrith for an awesome dinner at Ros Niyom which was so delicious and the staff amazingly attentive. Not hard though, as we were the only ones there - everyone else was probably watching the NRL Penrith v Storm (Penrith won). We did a few caches on the way home after dinner before the roads got busy with very happy residents. This cache: found all safe and sound. Off to the next cache. Tftc!!!
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC. The second day of caching Penrith with the Canberra mob (CPI24). Today was a trip to Katoomba in the blue mountains finding many old and interesting caches.Lots of great treks with fantastic views.Final dinner was not at the Panthers club with the grand final on tonight.Nice quick find with CPI24
Found with dty73 youban and a bunch of Canberra and region catchers on a mini invasion of Penrith! Log signed CPI24. Thanks!
A cache trip to Penrith and the Blue Mountains with a large group from Canberra, signing with CPI24. A number of caches planned and others added on the fly. A fun group outing on a beautiful spring weather day. This cache: A quick find along the way. A nice spot for a cache. Thank you pjmpjm for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
Handy spot for a cache. Top of the road.Day 2 is heading up to the Blue Mountains to have a look around.Up with a group from Canberra running around the Penrith area. Signing as CPI24. for Canberra Penrith Invasion. Thanks for getting me out and about pjmpjm
Find # 128706/10/2024 Caching adventures continue in Day 2 of the long weekend. Ticking off some of the Katoomba caches as well as many on the solved ones around Penrith as we can. Fabulous weather for caching, and great to get some warmth too! this is one such cache, found and signed CPI24! for Canberra Penrith Invaders - consisting of Joolay, Tankengine, dty73, Youban, Sacada, Flintstones, minniek, Aquillis, and Fitzy65. All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks pjmpjm for Katoomba Glenraphael
TFTC. It was on the ground next to what seems the natural hiding spot so we put it back in there.
Visited today and discovered the problem. The cache tends to slip a bit too far into its hiding place, making a long and thin arm necessary. So, with great arm-exertion, I've moved it about a metre or two, to a much easer and far less elegant spot. Should be easy to find now. Hope it isn't immediately muggled! (Hint pretty much tells the whole story.)
Geocaching in sydney, brisbane and anywhere in between, together with the 2 F's. TFTC
Wow that took some work square peg in a round hole, unable tit even my hand in the top let alone the bottom, but some fancy maneuvering after 15mins had cache in hand clean jeans now filthy
My arm is way to thick to reach the cache so photo will have to do for logging tftc
this cache is blocked off.i tried the street entrance, but was shooed away by workers.tried again further along, no dice.worker said it should be repaired by the end of december.i'd disable until we can access again.oh well.
Back from a big walking day in the mountains so to refresh my legs I walked out here to see the views. Took a short cut - not a good idea in the cliffs. Soon discovered the little devil after a little geo-dance. It was not what I expected for some unknown reason.
Thanks for the fun pjmpjm

I’m working in Katoomba for the next couple of weeks and thought I’d grab a few caches while I’m here.
The street was blocked off at Cliff Drive so I parked the Geo mobile at the top, walked around the temporary fence and walked to GZ. I soon the likely hiding spot and only just managed to retrieve the cache.
The log was totally full so I left a few new lined sheets to supplement the log.
I completed the formalities. and returned the cache to its hidey hole.

After walking this far wasn't going to let it defeat me. With sticks from below just able to get fingers to it. Definitely need long arms to get it well past elbow. Tftc left a hippo and rang off with a purple bell.Needs a new log.
TFTC. Found while taking time off from a conference. Couldn’t reach the log, hand was too big.
Catching up on old logs, thanks pjmpjm for the great cache. I really enjoyed the drive around this beautiful area.
Road closed and there were a couple cars so couldn’t get a park. Have to come back for this one
Road was closed. So as we have an injured dog we need to leave in the car we'll have to skip this one for now.
Hahahahahahaha not even my medical grade forceps were any help here! I should have just followed the hint blatantly but GPS had me back and forth. TFTC
Wow did we search for this for a while!!
My partner was so happy when he finally found it!
Don’t give up!

OK so here we are!
And so it everyone else.
Today I've headed up to the mountains from Sydney specially to see the pink Flannel Flowers that have bloomed since last seasons bush fires, and they're in this street!
There was a great deal of traffic coming and going from the street so I left the geomobile at the top and walked down to the cache. I spoke to the guide at the top of the street about the cache. He knew about Geocaching and was surprised to hear there was one so close.
Once at GZ I really wanted to look in a couple of locations but the hint told me not to, so I expanded my search and after more time than it should have taken I spotted the cache. It was in good condition so I signed the log and retraced my steps back to the geomobile. Having looked at all the vehicles up and down the street I decided my new geomobile would make it so off we went.
Not so bad after all. In just a few weeks the new geomobile has been on much worse roads than this one!!

Awesome spot, GPS was all over the place but the hint saved the day. There was no space to write so I tore a square off the tissue box to write on!! We also did a swap.
Tftc pjmpjm, quick find , then plunged arm in , ignored creepy crawlers, log signed.
