In the area for work but had some time for a few caches, after a short search found the cute little cache guardian.Cheers for the cache
Heading home after attending the Capital Geobash Mega in Canberra while passing by I made the appropriate detour for the search. When I arrived there was a muggle sitting in a car opposite GZ. I feel sure that when I arrived she thought this old bugga is after that cache and needs me to move on because sure enough she did so I had free access and a quick find was made. Thank you Gonefishen07 for placing and maintaining this cache.
Found while out on a drive, very cute camo! Unfortunately it looks like the cache doesn't have a proper lid anymore as the log book barely had any visible names. However because it was dry I was able to sign it. TFTC!
In the area for the square dance convention. Found the little guy but he was loggless so added a small log sheet . TFTC
Found the the little guy in a great hidey spot, but the log and cap are missing. TFTC
What to do when you should be writing reports? Go geocaching
For me, reports are torture, just like writing creative geocaching logs.
Thank you for bringing me to this gorgeous spot today, despite the hideous weather – yep, that’s how much I don’t want to write reports. Nearly got blown off a couple of hills.
This geocache is very cute and tucked away. tftc Gonefishen07

I was enjoying my day out here while testing out the new work car.
I always love a drive in the hills.
A quick find here.
Thank you

With the price of fuel dropping after the fuel excess was reduced, time to head down Bass - Woolamai way for a drive. Can't see fuel prices ever going down again, so no better time than today. Even if the weather wasn't the best, and the wind picked up with a drizzle while out caching.
The cap on the container is gone and so the sign of any log file. I have added a Write-in-the-rain log file, but didn't have any suitable replacement container or cap.
Thanks for the cache Gone Fishen 07

Driving along these twisty country roads and happened to come across this cache.
I hopped out of the car and had a short walk to gz.
I was initially a touch concerned about snakes considering the presence of some long grass, but luckily I didn't need to go in that far and the cache was spotted in the first place I looked.
Cool little container, all in good condition.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for this cache!

With restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, Today we headed over the hills to Phillip Island where we had a great day exploring the Island, the weather was four seasons in one day, but that did not stop us. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today. The lost sheep seemed out of place, all I saw were cows.

Another day-another caching run!
Since the COVID restrictions have eased in regional Victoria we have been trying to do a weekly run with caching mate Rebel Acts. This is our fourth outing, and unfortunately the drizzle looks set to make things a bit miserable. Our first 3 days were beautiful, mild and with a light breeze. We are living in hope that the skies clear and make it more comfortable, but this IS Victoria.
As in the past we will sign many of the caches RASP.
Just glad we have bumped into any farm animals on any country road the hard way for ages. This one was much easier to bump into!

I drove down to Wonthaggi as Geo daughter had a dental appointment
The dentist canceled, I wasn’t very happy but there was no sense complaining.
A few Geo’s on the way home was my idea, found a few detours sling the way which just meant we went the long way and grabbed a couple more.
Thanks for providing a cache to do along the way!

It is a pity that we did not start this series earlier as it would have made for a pleasant afternoon drive. Cute container, signed log and off to the next one.

A different route for the trip home resulted in a few finds late in the afternoon. Plenty of cows wandering around here - some of them had logbooks, some didn't. Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07.

Ewe have got to be kidding! Sorry. Not sorry. I haven't read any other logs but I hope nobody else suffers from Dad joke-itis. Cheers!

We swung by here on the way home from Phillip Island and made an easy find here.

I have looked for this hide before but went away empty handed. A quick find today, had to move some cob webs to retrieve the container.

I was taking the scenic route back to Wonthaggi for the evening event and noticed this was along the way.
I found the cache without too much difficulty. Just managed to squeeze my name on the end of the roll, but there was no room left afterwards. Fortunately, I had a notepad and scissors in the car, so a minute or two later, the cache had a new log. The old log has been returned to the CO. I wasn't sure whether the animal in question was the generic name, or the name for the male of the species.
Thanks for the cache.

This was the first of these ones that we had found. So over the next few weeks hopefully we will find the rest. Thanks
A quick and easy drive by on our way to Phillip Island after attending the Melbourne Mega. It didn't take long to roundup this stray livestock before moving on. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Fifth of this series. One more to get then the final. Love driving around these hills.
Our last animal in the series, with the mystery solved we're off to retrieve the final cache. Lots of fun today with geowife. SL tftc
Suscoe's 11th find of the day.
We decided to wander the back roads for a while to collect a few caches that we haven't been to as yet.
Great views and delightful countryside.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for bringing us out this way.

Day 4 was our final day of our South Gippsland holiday and caching adventure which saw us (me and the 4 & 6 year old geokids) exploring the back roads to Melbourne then onto Ballarat. A quick find here. The drive through is just beautiful. Many thanks
Thanks for another in the series I'm really enjoying the drive around this area. SL
Out on a road trip from Melb doing the near by rail trail came out to this one for a break. Thank you for bringing me here! TFTC!!
An afternoon out caching had me at GZ of my first find in this animal series. Was out with a muggle friend who I was introducing to geocaching.
I struggled to find the cache and it was only after my friend tentatively called out he found a small animal that I can log a smiley. Turns out I searched in the hiding spot but had missed the cache container. Loved it!
Hope to find the rest in the series on day. SL & replaced. TFTC!

Found at 1:30 PM GAFF1 in the company of Geoge. Having completed the rail trail - again, we went on a bit of a circuit to find somewhere to buy lunch and on the way we came across some fantastic locations. This one was ok - we had to back out a bit as there was a vehicle coming out from the "no through road" way - what are the odds of that!
Thanks Gonefishen07.

Find #1719
Stemicmitsar and I headed to San Remo tonight for a change of pace with the intention of grabbing whatever caches we could along the way. We got a little distracted and didn't get there but there's always next time.
We noted the recommendation that this cache not be done at night but given this cache's location and the fact that we're both masters at stealth when it comes to caching at night, this cache was located, the log signed and the clue noted without incident. All's well. SL TFTC

Found @ 9:28pm, find # 3895.
Out and about on the hunt for caches with biggles1024, this one was found.
This is a new section of the rail trail that was not here when we were last on the trail so we could leave then sitting there without being found.
After finishing the top section of the Rail Trail, we headed over to this one, I parked a bit far away so we had to walk about 30 metres to GZ, once there we were looking about and the cache was eventually found.
Now we will have to come back to find the others in this series.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this cache.

We found this cache today at 6:20pm as number 55 of 60 on our Head for the Rails Southern Tour. I went down the bottom of the hill then "H" found it back at the top. I didn't realise that there was a clue here so I didn't pick it up. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.
Sorry I took so long to log this find!! Almost forgot to log a whole day's caching. Thankfully I wrote all our finds and the cache clues in my trusty notebook so that I can now go back and log our finds!
We spent the last day of the school holidays doing a loop around the area trying to get all of the Farm Animals on Country Roads caches so as to get all the clues to solve the final cache. We decided we had to go to all of the caches, even the couple that we had been to before, as we had forgotten which animals had come from which cache. By the time we had got to the last farm animal cache and I had started work on solving the puzzle, the rain started to come down and just would not stop!! Eventually after sitting in the car for a while hoping for a break in the weather, we had run out of time and had to head home without finding the final cache. We will be back soon to get this final cache.
Thanks for a great set of caches, they have brought us to places not far from home that we may never have ventured to otherwise.

Found with highrod. Walked straight past this one at first. Love the container. TFTC
Today we headed out in the car to find caches that did not have too much walking entailed. Hubby not used to bike riding wanted a day off.
This is our final day in the beautiful area, we have appreciated all the caches we have found thanks Wonthaggi.

Next to last day in this area and just out with Bruce to clear up a few caches close to where we are staying.
Some of these caches had killer views and not just the so named one.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every cache we have done in this neck of the woods.

Out caching with LazzaL for a while this afternoon - we enjoyed the rural scenery and the different hides - nice one. Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this cache.
Before tackling the nearby rail trail I busied myself on this cool morning by mopping up a few caches on this windy but scenic ridgeline.
Noted the animal in case I finish the series. Might take some while
Thanks
