Im here in Australia visiting from the US. Decided to venture to the Blue Mountains today and Scenic World. Considering the foggy morning, I was surprised to park here and see mountains finally! This was a quick find and I left some pathtags and 2 Going Caching trading cards behind for future finders

Looks like this one must have been muggled. Will drive over soon and check.

I tried and failed to find this cache, gave the area a good search. Thank you pjmpjm for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Didnt find it . We looked but coords werent that steady and likely spots vacant

Gorgeous views all along Cliff Drive! Happy to have been up here for the week! GPS had me on the wrong side of the triangle; looking through previous logs and photos had me in the right spot and the cache was right there! After signing I tried to cover it with a bit more camo; TFTC!

i stopped by here while walking upto boars head, where i had lunch.an easy find with the help of the hint.good thing i did it on the way up because the place was busy with muggles when i came back later and went down the golden stairs. thanks pjmpjm for taking me here with a geocache. they're a good map marker.

Today we did this cache as we were looking for a sleeping spot. Easy to find.

After a fun day at Scenic World, it was time to do a spot of caching (i.e., go back to our accommodation the long way round). This was one of the caches found on the way around. I spent a bit too long on the wrong side of the area here as I was focusing on the GPS rather than using my caching senses. When I looked around a bit more carefully, I spotted a likely spot. There it was! TFTC pjmpjm

After finding your cache nearby I walked on to this one took in the view and found the cache. Then it was another walk back to our cabin.

980 for the tribe

An epic 15km circuit hike with some 800m of vertical elevation gain on the most perfect winters day saw the tribe starting and ending at scenic world , first travelling west to narrow neck plateau, descending the golden stairs then traversing east along the remarkably serene Federal pass past the rocky landslide and the bizarre place that scenic world is, back to more serenity, past the three sisters, up dardanelles pass and up the giant stairway to echo point at sunset completing the loop through a wonderful The Rats AL and the lit up sections of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. All up 12 caches and / or AL caches in this loop were found, including a retro cache from 2001, two earthcaches and a virtual.

Some stunning wattle out today with this pic taken near the cache. The cache is in good condition and was signed as sneakily as possible with a few muggles out and about. TFTC!

Probably not the best day to head up to Katoomba for a few caches - so many muggles around and parking anywhere - even at the lookouts - was a nightmare.

As a result I bypassed a few caches I'd have otherwise grabbed. But still nabbed a good number - including a full AL after being lucky enough to get a parking spot at Leura.

So many people I really had to time my search and grab. finally got a small window and thankfully my guess re placement was spot on.

Took well away to complete signing duties, then back for the replace after the people at the table left.

Out and about in Blackheath/Katoomba from Canberra. Just beat the rain

This was my last find in Katoomba, just before we left town again. Beautiful lookout, and after a small search the hint directed me to an obvious location where I was also rewarded with a decent sized hide! I’m surprised that this one is not destroyed by muggles constantly! A quick signing of the log book, some photos snapped of the view, and then we were off again.

I’m trying to get to a 100 logs before leaving Australia, and today I only need 8 logs to accomplish that. Hopefully doable during the day.

A big thank you to pjmpjm for creating and maintaining this geocache, so that the rest of us can entertain our hobby. The log is signed as Bubbles.

So today turned out to be a very nice day. It didn't rain . We directed it to the Blue mountains, to Katoomba and it was great. We basically spent the whole day hanging around the Three Sisters viewpoints. Here you can see how little is enough for a person to be happy .
We wanted to go around the LAB and catch the bonus cache, but there was a helicopter flying with material all day and all the view points around the falls were closed. So we got in the car and continued along the overlooks towards Cahills Lookout.
We brought lunch to this place from Katoomba, where we found a great shop with roast meat and enjoyed it a lot. The local birds are incredibly rude - you're really not ready for something like that .

Tak dnes se vydařil tuze pěkný den. Nepršelo totiž . Nasměrovali jsme si to do Blue montains, do Katoomby a bylo to skvělé. Celý den jsme se v podstatě plácali kolem vyhlídek na Tři sestry. Tady je vidět, jak málo člověku stačí ke štěstí .
Chtěli jsme obejít LAB a odlovit bonusovou keš, ale celý den tu létal vrtulník s materiálem a všechny view pointy kolem vodopádů byly zavřené. Tak jsme nasedli do auta a pokračovali po výhledech směrem na Cahills Lookout.
Na tohle místo jsme si přivezli oběd z Katoomby, kde jsme našli parádní obchůdek s pečeným masem a moc jsme si tu pochutnali. Místní ptactvo je neskutečně drzé - opravdu na něco takového člověk není připraven .

Found during an impromptu two day caching trip to and around Katoomba. Followed arrow and hint to an obvious spot then had to expand the radius to another option about 10-15m away.

Tftc fun find but quite easy

Coords put us in the wrong spot but used the hint and soon had the cache in hand.
