Im here in Australia visiting from the US. Decided to venture to the Blue Mountains today and Scenic World. After leaving Scenic World, picked up this cache. Nice and easy. Not much of a view today due to the fog though.

Sunday funday! We got up early and headed to Jordon Springs for breakfast. It was quite nice and one of the yummiest mochas I have had in a while. After that we met up with our friends (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Flintstones, Aquilus1 and sacada) to cache up to Katoomba and back.The day had its good points and bad:Good - great company, fabulous views, amazing places, finding caches and fantastic food. Bad - too many muggles, AL and Geocaching App meltdown. So frustrating!We found a handful of caches and got back to Penrith for an awesome dinner at Ros Niyom which was so delicious and the staff amazingly attentive. Not hard though, as we were the only ones there - everyone else was probably watching the NRL Penrith v Storm (Penrith won). We did a few caches on the way home after dinner before the roads got busy with very happy residents. This cache: A quick find to find and sign. Tftc!!!

GAP YEAR BIG LAP - PART 2: THE ROAD TRIP - Day 18 Zooming around the scenic drive trying to fit in as many lookouts & views & short walks as possible in our short amount of time available. Travelling south on our lap of the country, we veered west through the Blue Mountains to avoid the traffic of Sydney on the way to visit friends in Canberra. We just beat the crowds at this lookout and got a pole position park, great view of at least 4 siblings then retrieved the cache close to the car.#3817 @ 1455h Actually found this one before the last one I logged but it all works out the same in the end anyway, I guess.TFTC Pjmpjm ??

Dnes u se ctm lpe a zacnm si svuj velk vlet uvat. Sice bylo rno chladneji a pod mrakem, ale odpoledne u krsn park a stl slunce, a jsem si splila zezadu krk. V klidu jsem rno vyrazila do Modrch hor (Blue Mountains) a po ceste odlovila pr keek u zajmavch mst. Treba hned prvn ke byla u informacnho centra pro cel hory, tak jsem si nabrala spoustu letku a informac. Dal zastvka u zajmavho parcku s alej stromu, kter asi zasadili australt premiri. Krtkou prochzku jsem si udelala pro starou ke z roku 2001 v lesku plnm velkch utru a na jeden jsem musela kvuli kece i vylzt. Tak jsem postupne projela nekolik mestecek a dojela do Katoomba, kde mm na odpoledne zakoupen vstup na lanovky a zubacku. Krsne jsem to stihla, namazala si oblicej krmem 50 a vyrazila objevovat vyhldky na tesech a detn les dole v dol. Lanovky byly super, dokonce mstn zubacka je nejstrmej na svete. Teda byly to takov vozky, kter se skoro kolmo spustily do tunelu ve skalch, take nebylo nic videt, ale musela jsem se dret stropu, tak dobr. Krsne strven odpoledne jsem zakoncila odlovem T5 virtulky a vhledem na Echo point a Three Sisters - mstn nejznmej skaln tvar. Spokojena a vyvencena jedu na nkup veho potrebnho a na hotel. Dnes ani do hospody nejdu. Budu v klidu odpocvat na ubikaci. Ztra me cek prejezd hor.Second day in Australia. I travel to Blue Mountains from cache to cache and spend an afternoon in Scenic World in Katoomba in rain forest and cliffs. Thanks for the cache with nice view and greetings from Czech republic.

this was a very nice lookout of yet another different angle of the three sisters. a private tour car was parked here upon arrival, so instead i came down to enjoy the view with the two of them until they left and i could go back to searching unhindered.found in the second place i looked. then i kept trudging along up the road with a view.thanks pjmpjm for another cache in a great location !

Today we did this cache as we went to the lookout. Amazing view over the Blue Mountains!

A little bit of a hunt to find it, but it was a fun find and great views

The last cache that was found before heading back to our accommodation. I had no issues finding the cache here, though I did have a little trouble parking (apparently it's a popular spot to be late afternoon when the sun is starting to lower in the sky!). TFTC pjmpjm

Geohubby (GeoTigerAce) and I are headed off on a 4 week holiday from Brisbane heading to Canberra, Parkes, Katoomba, Sydney, Melbourne, Ballarat, Dubbo, and Coonabarabran as our main stops, with lots of side stops along the way planned. A much needed road trip to take in the sites and spend some time away in nature.Over the course of our 4 weeks I wanted to focus on Australia's 'oldest' caches, and caches of interest (e.g., iconic locations, interesting locations, lots of favourite points, and places I have never been) as well as hitting my next milestone (#600). It has been a wonderful trip and we have seen so much, and spent a lot of time caching and exploring little places of interest.Thanks to all of the cache owners for maintaining these caches and bringing us to beautiful places on our travels, and challenging us to keep on looking at the world just a little bit differently. Lots of memories have been made.Day 10: TripCache #43: GeoHubby's Birthday! Unfortunately we spent the morning at the dentist trying to find a solution to the broken tooth problem (Fantastic dentist in Katoomba fixed it!). We then grabbed some lunch and headed down to Echo Point. Hubby had never been here, and it had been a long time since I had. Such stunning views - different to what I remember as a child - but I think more impressive as an adult.This cache offers a stunning view of the Three Sisters. Thank you so much for maintaining a cache here. All in good condition. Found without too much effort, log signed and replaced.

On a road trip holiday with CaptainKirky. On this part of the trip we are heading South from Brisbsne. Today we are out and out about around Katoomba, grab some cache’s along the way before my birthday dinner. This was a awesome find that goes with the awesome views.

An epic 15km circuit hike with some 800m of vertical elevation gain saw the tribe starting and ending at scenic world , first travelling west to narrow neck plateau, descending the golden stairs then traversing east along the remarkably serene Federal pass past the rocky landslide and the bizarre place that scenic world is, back to more serenity, past the three sisters, up dardanelles pass and up the giant stairway to echo point at sunset completing the loop through a wonderful The Rats AL and the lit up sections of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. All up 12 caches and / or AL caches in this loop were found, including a retro cache from 2001, two earthcaches and a virtual.

First of the loop, this cache in great condition with a trackable inside as a bonus! Wonderful spot! Cracking views!

3 Wochen Urlaub in Australien. Und nach der Ankunft in Sydney ging es weiter nach Katoomba. Am Lookout hielten wir kurz an, gemossen die Aussicht und signierten im Anschluss das Logbuch in der Dose. Danke fürs Herführen. DFDC.

I’m working in Katoomba for the next couple of weeks and thought I’d grab a few caches while I’m here.
This was a quick park and find so I soon had eyes on the prize.

So today turned out to be a very nice day. It didn't rain . We directed it to the Blue mountains, to Katoomba and it was great. We basically spent the whole day hanging around the Three Sisters viewpoints. Here you can see how little is enough for a person to be happy .
We wanted to go around the LAB and catch the bonus cache, but there was a helicopter flying with material all day and all the view points around the falls were closed. So we got in the car and continued along the overlooks towards Cahills Lookout.

Tak dnes se vydařil tuze pěkný den. Nepršelo totiž . Nasměrovali jsme si to do Blue montains, do Katoomby a bylo to skvělé. Celý den jsme se v podstatě plácali kolem vyhlídek na Tři sestry. Tady je vidět, jak málo člověku stačí ke štěstí .
Chtěli jsme obejít LAB a odlovit bonusovou keš, ale celý den tu létal vrtulník s materiálem a všechny view pointy kolem vodopádů byly zavřené. Tak jsme nasedli do auta a pokračovali po výhledech směrem na Cahills Lookout.
