Sunday funday! We got up early and headed to Jordon Springs for breakfast. It was quite nice and one of the yummiest mochas I have had in a while. After that we met up with our friends (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Flintstones, Aquilus1 and sacada) to cache up to Katoomba and back. The day had its good points and bad:Good - great company, fabulous views, amazing places, finding caches and fantastic food. Bad - too many muggles, AL and Geocaching App meltdown. So frustrating! We found a handful of caches and got back to Penrith for an awesome dinner at Ros Niyom which was so delicious and the staff amazingly attentive. Not hard though, as we were the only ones there - everyone else was probably watching the NRL Penrith v Storm (Penrith won). We did a few caches on the way home after dinner before the roads got busy with very happy residents. This cache: Found and logged. Tftc!!!
We come up from the ACT for a long weekend of caching from Penrith to the blue mountains. Calling ourselves the Canberra Penrith invasion group we logged this one as CPI24. Kutgw
Find # 128696/10/2024 Caching adventures continue in Day 2 of the long weekend. Ticking off some of the Katoomba caches as well as many on the solved ones around Penrith as we can. Fabulous weather for caching, and great to get some warmth too! this is one such cache, found and signed CPI24! for Canberra Penrith Invaders - consisting of Joolay, Tankengine, dty73, Youban, Sacada, Flintstones, minniek, Aquillis, and Fitzy65. All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks pjmpjm for Katoomba Silver Mist

The canyons of these mountains were deep and beautiful, and the nature was amazing. For us from Europe, every plant and animal is new and unknown. Thanks for the placing this geocache and the work associated with it. All geocaches have led us to many nice places.Greetings from Brno the Czech Republic. Bisoutje and I are on a long roadtrip between Cairns and Adelaide and have now touched ground at the Blue Mountains. We spent 2 days hiking in this beautiful national park and enjoyed every second. We saw numerous animals and plants, magnificent views over waterfalls, mountains and valleys and were able to hike many kilometers and altitude gains. The legs are sore but the memories are worth it!This was a quick find. TFTC
Picking up this cache after taking the stairs down to the base of the three sisters. TFTC
A quick muggle free find here today, in a park that would be spectacular in summer. Thanks for the cache pjmpjm
With 4 hours to spare in between errands and appointments, lets hop onto a train up to Katoomba. Easy find. Fifth of five planned finds. Oh, I might have time for one or two more? TFTC pjmpjm

We hiked today the track from Furbers Steps to Fern Bower and back to the carpark. Such a nice place! Unfortunately there weren't any caches down, but we are happy to log this one.The logsheet is quite dirty and needs a replacement .TFTC!
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook so we photo it.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Signapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. Yesterday we flew from Auckland to Sydney and today we are driving to the Blue Mountains where we will stay for one night. After checking in in our hotel we went out for a walk in the Blue Mountains. We walked the Scenic Walkway to get a good look at the spectacular scenery of the Blue Mountains. Since we had excellent weather, we thoroughly enjoyed the walk. To even add to the fun there were some caches en route like this one. At the foot of this amazing three the cache was quickly found without any problem. Thank you very much for this cache.
On our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived in Sydney yesterday. Today we picked up the rental car and drove to the Blue Mountains. We arrived quite early and there is plenty of time to visit The Three Sisters. This cache was found during a short walk.**pjmpjm**, thanks for the cache.

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visit Blue Montain.Guided by the GCs, we hiked in its beautiful mountains. Very beautiful landscape. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
Found it . Havent have a pen with me then I leave a bit of love to everyone! Merry Christmas
This afternoon I replaced the cache with what I hope will be a more waterproof container.

At first, as I start my Sightseeing Tour to this point I saw nothing, but than the clouds went away and I had Avery good view!T4T$gatschi004
After my spontaneously long walk yesterday, i didn't wanto do anything too strenous today. i'll go and get the owl and check out honeymoon lookout and that'll be it. had myself a nice midday stroll down back streets and along the cliffside trail to honeymoon where it started to spit, so i marched myself back home.Imagine then my surprise when i sit down to look at the map and i see a new cache right where i'd just been. i thought it was new and i was almost beside myself before i realised it had been here yonks and only just reenabled. sigh.so sometime before sunset, i walked again the backstreets i've come to know well back out to that familar cliffside track to autograph this one as well. why not. thanks for maintaining another fine cache in a beautiful location.afterwards i went and had a look at the sisters lit up. was alright.
Our first DNF this trip! We thoroughly searched 5 or 6 "big trees" but no luck
So planned a day to the blue mountains today. Want to do some hiking and hoping to find some geocaches as well.
And so I also found Katoomba Silver Mist and converted into a smiley.

AustraliaA country that has fascinated me for a long time. But the distance to get there was just as great as the desire to drive there. So it was dreamed but not implemented. But then our friend nalfion moved again. And this time to Down Under. That gave the go-ahead to plan a little more firmly for the first ideas and fantasies. The bosses were asked about a longer vacation and then we went to the travel agency with our rough ideas. For such a complex thing we wanted to have support. And after a few appointments there, the basic structure was in place.During our summer holidays we went to Sydney via Singapore, where we spent 2 days. 2 days in Sydney city and then we went with a small camper van with the whole family via Katoomba to Cairns. Our friend lives in Adelaide so ended up staying there for a few more days at the hotel before heading back to Germany without any lengthy stops via Melbourne and Singapore.A wonderful holiday that at least brought us a little closer to this huge country and gave us many great memories. Two days ago we arrived in Katooma and had a great (but cold) time here. Thanks for the Cache.
