I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi beltfamily
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

We couldn't find it and it wasnt through lack of trying the muggles would have wondered what we were doing there for so long.
What a stunning morning. In Nelson for the day due to work time to walk some serious miles and see this sea side city
After all the wet weather Tregearp and I needed to get some fresh air and exercise. Tregearp had logged a couple of caches in the general area of this one where, for one reason or another, I had not.
A good excuse for a visit and walk along the beach.
Cache was a quick find with everything in excellent order. I think this series has fallen into some disarray - particularly with No 3. missing, and many of the replaced caches missing the additional codes. Nice to see them being maintained by the community though. Signed log and replaced as found.
Thanks beltfamily for the cache.

It's been a while since SJT_NZ and I have done any caching so today despite other stuff we thought this was the day. This was the first of the day and a quick find. All in good order.
We are on vacation in New Zealand and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!

A nice easy find here. Don't think I will ever get them all as I am not from Nelson but a cache is a cache! TFTC.
Took awhile to find this one. I first found a long piece of hosepipe that I thought might be an amazing cache but it lead nowhere, so I went over the roadto have a look. I missed it completely & my mum came out of the car to help to spot it straight away. Find #453
Out with Girls Down Under and the Quest-ion was who’d find it first. It was Girls. Nice hide, thanks.
This was an amazing cache. Took us ages to find, but as soon as we stood back and scanned for colour, we saw it Really creative and fun to find!
Thanks heaps
Thanks heaps
I did struggle to find this but then my much younger niece @NeeWok spotted it. Logged and returned. Thanks beltfamily.
Let your eyes roam around, up and along and then it is obvious! Plus the colour..... TFTC
In Nelson for the day with extended family and after a great day at the markets and then at the tahunanui beach adventure park, we detoured for the nearby challenge cache as it was a DT rating we had not yet found. While MrNZT found the challenge cache I headed down the road for a stroll to this cache. Quickly found the cache and signed the log. TFTC!
After a great walk along part of the Boulder Bank I still have some time left to pick of a few more close by.
Another quick snag and tag on the way past. Cheers

Mrs Rattll popped across the road for the find while Mr Rattll stayed in the car in case another car came.
Didn't take to long to spot it but it was a little cross threaded so it took a while to get into it. Then I had a little trouble doing it up again without it cross threading again. Mr Rattll came to the rescue though. TFTC beltfamily

Park and grab. Don't think we'll do the entire challenge this time in Nelson. TFTC. Holidaying from Wellington.
Figured out where this one would be soon enough, then just had to hunt around to spot it. Luckily a glint gave the game away and we were soon signing off.
We had just walked out on the Boulder bank about 5 km round trip I think. Havig dnfed one of the caches we tried out there I felt like we needed a few more smileys so thought we would stop for a few of these ones along the road on our way back. Was a relatively quick find by curtis1915 and not really any other cars around which was nice. Thanks for the cache!
Heute ging unsere Reise von Wellington in den Abel Tasman Nationalpark. Auf dem Weg von Picton nach Mapua haben wir hier einen kleinen Zwischenstop eingelegt und den Cache gesucht, gefunden und geloggt.
Thanks for this cache.

I was asked what I wanted to do for my birthday.....and I said "Maybe a caching trip to Nelson?"
Weather not the best in Blenheim today - but we headed away anyway.
Didn't grab any on the way over - was pouring most of the way. After a nice lunch and a wee bit of shopping we headed back - hoping that a break in the weather would hold. But alas I only managed 2 caches and then gave up.
Got a bit wet here - in amongst the trees - but located cache and numbers required for the series.

Hit my 1800 cache find this morning wanted to bike out boulder rock got out to the area way to stoney for kaleb to bike through so grabbed these 4 along the way, added paracord keychain to the ones I could thanks for bringing us out here.
Holidays in New Zealand! We have been looking forward to them for years. We had lots of time to prepare ourselves for a great trip. As geocachers, we also picked out a number of great caches. Armed with a "to-do list" and accidental encounters we were lucky to log many caches. Thank you for placing them and keeping the game go on!

A good quick find on a beautiful Summer's day. We have put a new paper in the cache as the log was full.tftc
Find #463 for the BAMMJams - we needed to head over to Nelson for one of the small BammJams to attend an appointment at the hospital, so thought we'd take the opportunity to do a bit o' 'caching while we're over the hill.
However, the smallest BammJam (Master 5) is proving to be a bit of a squib (a non-cacher, born to a caching family), and stymied our plans to find too many caches - so we only got the opportunity to find 3 caches today.
This one took us a few minutes to find, but previous logs gave us a clue what to look for. As mentioned previously, the seal is gone, but the log paper was dry albiet mouldy today. We did sign it, but it might be worth a look at next time the CO is passing by. Hopefully with summer coming, the missing seal won't worry it too much for the next few months.
TFTC - the bigger BammJams will be back to Nelson to find a bunch more caches, when we don't have the squib with us, perhaps!!

NZDi and I had planned a two day caching weekend with the original idea to cache from Blenheim to At Arnaud to Kawatiri Junction to Nelson on Friday, then cache around Nelson on Saturday. We decided this would be too ambitious and scaled it back and started from Kawatiri Junction instead. After getting forty caches on Friday we decided to cache the Boulder Bank then head back to Blenheim. We grabbed some caches on the way out of town and this was the fifth find of the day.
Throughout the weekend our logs were signed Kiwimykl + NZDi or KM + ND or variations of the two with or without the date depending on the size of the space available and / or the particular logging requirements of the CO.
We parked nearby and both got out for the search. NZDi came up with the goods this time and when I opened the cache it appears that the oring had perished and the log was soaked. Unfortunately, I didn't have a small enough spare log in my log repair kit to replace this one and it was impossible to sign it in its present condition, so we recorded the number, just in case some time in the future we get the rest.

Found en route to the effluent treatment facility at the end of the road to satisfy Miss 4's curiosity about where it all goes :-/ The things we do as parents ... All in order with this cache. Have noted down the numbers and we might start chipping away at this series on our somewhat infrequent visits to Nelson - it could take 10 years! TFTC.
I've had mixed success with this series of caches, perhaps due to the length of time since placement and the nature of the containers, but I still thought I'd give this one a go today following a successful few finds along the Boulder Bank.
It was early enough in the day to mean there was no passing traffic and the early morning light was bright enough to be able to spot this series' trademark container. I exceeded all expectations by only requiring one circuit of the GZ before clapping eyes on the container which (I am pleased to see) was not as evilly camouflaged as I was expecting.
The number on the cache was noted for possible future use - perhaps.
Thanks

DNF
Was on our way from Nelson to Picton to catch the late Ferry back home to Wellington after spending a lovely night in Nelson and it was time to leave this lovely part of the west coast and make our way home to Wellington, this was our first DNF for the day.
Managed to find a carpark near GZ and was a short walk to GZ, after reading the cache and previous finders log I knew that this could take a while. Arriving at GZ and realise that I wasn’t expecting a quick find searched high and low and in the end decided to give this one up this time as we needed to make our way home.
Thanks for bringing us will have another look next time we are back in this area.

First of the series for me. Nice location. Tide out for what seemed like miles! TFTC.
Today we went from Nelson to Duncan Bay. Since we had time on our trip we made a small detour to see more of the country. Of course we always stopped to stretch our legs and look for some caches. Here we had no problems to find the cache, but we forgot to note the bonus number. Many thanks for the cache

A big days Geocaching has been planned for today with a plethora of solved puzzles, some B G S C caches to collect and graduate from, along with some good company in the shape of the Seagnoid, a caching buddy from Manawatu. Seagnoid also has some solved puzzles to find and I have some he hasn't found and....oh you get the picture.
A plan was hatched last night for an OH 6.30 start, after breakfast and caches were downloaded to respective G P S's, deleted, reloaded etc. Loads of faff. The forecast was a bit dodgy, high winds and possible rain so maybe tomorrow might be a better option, but when did a Geocacher make the right call and turn down a days caching? There was a virtual, some Earthcaches, numerous puzzles and some unfound Trads that either or both of us had not previously found, quite a balancing act and lots of miles and time consumed today. Graduated in a couple of Project G C badges too and got past 2600 caches so all in all a successful days caching.
My first Quest cache in the series, gonna take some time and a tricky find

On a big mission up to Nelson over Show Weekend with Purdiepurdie, Karma Reprint and Team_Gaters we signed our cache finds as PKTT the 'power packet' but we called ourselves the 'G4'. We headed off on Friday morning at 4.30am. We had a mission that we wanted to perform in Nelson and this was the day to attempt it. After a good nights sleep we headed out for the day for more laughs, caches and poke our noses here and there, driving and memory making. It was a great day we didn't stop until about 11.30pm back to base for a cuppa and relax and getting ready to do it all again tomorrow!
Quick find and onto the next one...
Thanks for the cache.

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.
Didn't take too long to spot cache spying back!

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

[green] On a day excursion from Blenheim to Nelson with Taybee and TaybeeNZ. Rained over the hill but nice and clear here. This is my first trip with the Taybee Clan and I got my introduction to their technique. Taybee points in the general direction and TaybeeNZ dashes off, finds and retrieves the cache before I have a chance to blink. They are a pretty awesome team to watch!
Starting to wonder if I will beat the little blighter to any cache today.
Yay, I beat TaybeeNZ to this one. Mostly because he was up the tree (and breaking quite significant bits off, oops!), while I was gambling on something more reachable. This is our first Quest cache. 'Spose I have to start another file, like my Skindo finds in the Wairarapa.
