Whilst on our half lap convinced muggle driver to make a few stops here and there to make some finds. Thanks ps late logs sorry
The start of a well earned 2 week break and after staying in Rochester then Hay for the night it was time to continue heading north towards White Cliffs and then Im not sure where I will end up after that as a lot of the roads I wanted to travel on are closed due to rain.I stopped in Wilcannia to stretch the legs, have a history lesson while touring the town sites and also getting rained on as well. When will the rain stop so some of the tracks will be open. After working out the 2 multis I could not leave a green dot on my map so a bit of a detour to come out here but thats what caching is all about. I had the place to myself so I was able to wander off to look for this one.I soon had the cache in hand so now to back track to continue heading north. Thanks farmer-brown TFTC.
Been working around Canungra for a couple of months and on the road back home to Manda in Adelaide. Wa raining too much to hop out when I went past a while back so stopped here for a quick cache grab on the way past. Hint took me straight to it. TFTC
Being a POM I wandered if one of my predecessors may have introduced some "Nettles" here, But managed to find and sign the log without getting Stung! Thanks for maintaining the cache
Time to take a break and stretch the legs once again. This was just a short break for us but its definitely a welcome stop to get out of the car and move around a bit. Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
The next leg of our travels: Cobar to Broken Hill. Of course we used geocaches to stop for a stretch of the ol' legs.

We are on our way to the Rutherglen Mega. Today our journey takes us to Broken Hill after overnighting in White Cliffs.
I am amazed at how many rest stops the NSW Government has put in on our trip west. I think that's great.

Today we started with sunrise at the Living Desert sculptures and worked our way to Cobar.
Our first Central Darling LGA cache!
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.
farmer--brown, I found Netallie today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

It is great to have these chances to stretch my Legs. The facilities are great too and a far cry from when we did road trips 20years ago!
Saw this easily enough, retrieving it was the issue as there was another traveller nearby. Enter tassie expat with the bright purple top walking around to distract. From then a quick grab, sign, replace. Tftc.
Out with frmen1. He often asks why I wear bright clothing when geocaching...perfect distraction. If I walk past muggles, they rarely notice the person cammoed behind the tree lol TFTC
Nice time for tea break and stretch tbe legs. Some serious water around this morning and tbe countryside is sooo green. Tftc
Quick find - we’re creeping closer to that 200! The small one is happy about that. These caches have certainly given us reason to stop and stretch our legs on the drive from Broken Hill. It’s so good to be travelling again.

After stopping at Wilcannia for a quick bite to eat, we continued our way to Broken Hill, and of course, we jumped out to grab this one. Amazing that we didn’t see one single Kangaroo in all our driving in the Far West.
