A series of DNFs since August 2016. No response to a needs maintenance request from March 2018. Time for this one to be archived, I think.
Request for CO to confirm whether this cache is still in place. Many thanks,
We came with Team Benders hoping that this would be her Celebration cache on the 7th anniversary of her commencing her geocaching journey. We gathered the number and found a likely GZ, but there was no cache there.
My 7th Geocaching Birthday.
Numbers correct this time.
Elusive cache not at home.
Thanks for the hunt

Our first multicache but no luck. Didn't help that our co-ords had us smack bang in the middle of the path.
What a lovely little park. Sat with my Dad and did some maths whilst we watched kids play. As it was getting onto sunset it was time for the kids to head home which gave me the opportunity armed with various TOTT to grab this one. Sadly I couldn't find the cache at GZ. Photo sent to CO to confirm if it has been muggled.

Thanks DRML. Wanted to get the Souvenir today, so we picked an EASY one. NOT! Took us 2 PAF to get the final and find THE cache.
Awesome! You ROCK!

Sneaky one.... Initially got bogged in soft mud ... Not the right place. Re- did the coordinates! Good hide... Took us a bit of time but yes... Success! TFTC!!
15/4/16 Out today with Marina25 to grab a few caches for a monthly challenge and also to grab as many as possible for a personal challenge I am working on. Today was a lovely walk through the bush which started at 10am and finished at 2pm. We walked 18 876 steps and found 34 caches in all.
A nice quick find here once we worked out how to get the numbers for the coords. Loved watching Marina25 walking over the coloured logs and counting. Brought her back to her childhood days. TFTC DRML

Well isn't this cache a cheeky one. Reading back through the logs now I can see I'm not the only one thats had a little trouble findng it. How funny is Mr Eskys poem, thats awesome.
Anyhow I was in the area today picking up a few this so I had to stop for a few caches as well, of course. Thankfully kids are allergic to parks these days so the place was deserted on this beautuiful Saturday afternoon which made my job a hell of a lot easier. I grabbed a seat nearby and worked through the questions and extracted some good numbers. From a distance I could see where I thought it might be. I wandered around in circles looking in all the places you usually find a cache to no avail, what the heck. I sat down to recheck the numbers and soon found I couldn't get any closer if I tried. Wow, what a sneaky little hide. I tried to retrieve it with a few sticks but when that didn't work I headed back to the car for a torch to check first.
Thanx again DRML, love ya work

Its holidays at last for me,
I need to write a poem... or three!
------------------------------------------------------
With plans to go and climb a hill, and be at an event,
We headed out with hopes and dreams, that very soon were spent.
The day became a messy one, with rain and storms about,
Then emails came in thick and fast, the phone would not hold out.
So plans were changed, while problems raged, solutions filled my mind,
A coffee found, we turned around, and looked for things to find.
While Mrs Esky planned the route, I only had to drive,
From place to place and help her search, each time we did arrive.
We found a place to park the car, and all the boys got out,
And off we went to solve the clues, this one is fun, no doubt.
Again my phone began to ring, another problem here,
I'd really like to find a cache, without this on my ear. [:(!]
As Mrs Esky counted logs, and worked the multi through,
I put the phone back in my bag, and asked what I could do.
So I retrieved the hidden cache, I'm useful here at last,
We wrote our name, and put it back, while youngsters had a blast.
TFTC!

We went back and forth on the coloured logs and then the cache. We had a great time.
After travelling down from Toowoomba our plans for today were thwarted by the weather so we decided to make our way home slowly finding caches to fulfil the Spell November Challenge...this being one of them. Loved the "rock". Great little family multi that the kids could get involved with. They enjoyed the park too. TFTC DRML.
I was needing a multi R for the October challenge. Before taking my daughter pinkypie05 and my son mazza151 to a kids birthday party we decided to do this cache. I had previously tried to do this cache with Bennyboppers but we couldn't get the right numbers. I started off today getting similar numbers. I thought do I have to calculate decimals. It's an easy difficulty so that can't be right. I re-read it and thought "Does it just mean the number of different colours and not the total number of blocks to walk on?" I recalculated and got better numbers. Walked over to GZ and found the cache in its scary hiding spot. I didn't want to put my hand (and arm) in there. Here goes! Phew, nothing bit me! We signed the log and returned the cache. TFTC! Glad to finally have a smilie for this one!
Out caching with my mum mnance101, my brother mazza151 and myself decided to do this cache. TFTC!

Day 16 of the mega caching tour of Queensland, and the two week trip was predominantly spent finding some of the states' older placed caches, as well as some of the more difficult terrain caches. I arrived at the posted coordinates, and wandered over to do the calculations. After a short walk, the cache was soon spotted nicely hidden away in it's hidey hole.

Nice one. After having a guess and getting it wrong we resorted to doing the maths and bingo it worked. Found with the grandkids help which made it a nice afternoon. Thanks
Needed a smilie to continue our streak &, as it was fast approaching dark, I headed for the nearest available cache.
This was a nice easy solve which led to a quick find just on dark. Signed log & replaced cache as found.
Probably good timing as it wasn't the best light for any neighbouring muggles to spy on me & the local kids were most likely either having dinner, watching TV or getting ready for bed.
Nice cosy hide. A lot of cobwebs can build up in 12 days which is the elapsed time since the last find! LOL ...

Find #1333

I was out caching with Bennyboppers yesterday. We worked out the puzzle and the coords. Initially we had made a mistake but soon realised where we went wrong and readjusted our calculations. We then searched for the cache. We searched for quite a while with no luck. We found a spot which looked like where the cache may be, based on previous logs, but it was empty. Eventually we had to give up as I had to leave to go to an appointment. Will have to search again another day.
On my way home from work today I had an urge to do a multi...don't ask me why, but sometimes this just happens to me I drove off in the direction towards this cache and soon found myself at a colorful looking GZ. A few sums later, and an application of the offset values, and I soon had final coordinates for the cache. After making an anxious grab I had the cache in hand and signed the log ...ah, satisfied the urge... TFTC
After a day of window cleaning, I had a few hours spare to gather a few non traditional caches for souvenir purposes. Two down this way hopefully.
Once at GZ, I looked from the car while the locals enjoyed the park. Counting.
I walked a bit closer and re-read the question and checked the formulaes and the penny dropped.
Maths done I wandered over to GZ. Dark in there but in goes the hand and out comes the cache.

Had a count of the objects, computed the offset, but ended up in the middle of the neighbourghing lawn. Did a quick check around but I'm pretty confident my offset needs to be recalculated. Took a photo so I can do the maths at home and return back later, armed with better numbers.
Headed out to the west today to take a look at a few different cache's. A couple of puzzles, and the new Where I Go, so with a little time available before meeting with LHE Duo, I decided to take a look at this cache.
As I pulled up there was a couple of people around the playground, but maybe it was just the timing or something, but seemed they were just leaving. So I got down to putting in the work to calculate what was needed. All good on the first count and I headed off to GZ, not far at all. retrieval went well, except the ants did try to protest. But cache retrieved and signed the log book before getting things back in place and moving on.

After having completed the nearby caching trail I stopped off here and caught my breath sitting on the Rock of Gibraltar while I worked out the final coordinates. GPS led me astray for a while but finally pointed in the right direction. By then I had to wait as what had been a previously deserted park now had a number of joggers and dog walkers passing through. Finally all quiet again an the cache retrieved and signed before anyone else passed by. Tftc
Muggle free when I arrived so no problems standing around counting logs
Coordinates maybe a few meters out but I was lucky to spot a likely hidey hole as I walked past - yep there it is. Cache and log all ok.

At the park, there was a tree down near to the stepping poles. But it did not interfere with the maths. We calculated our GZ and was looking in one area, but needed to widen it out a bit after reading the previous logs. Spotted in a little crevice and whilst we were signing the log, two very friendly birdies walked around us and gave a little peck - not scared of us at all. Replaced into its slot and covered with the natural camo. TFTC
Out and about with Nurseyjulie today Found the rock. Found the logs. Crunched the numbers. Searched. Nothing. Crunched the numbers again, same ones... searched again... nothing! Recheck numbers, still the same... okay, widened the search area, and voila! No idea what we did wrong... Glad it's a smilie. TFTC, DRML.
Great hide, definitely very bold! found with Zafodbeebelbrox after finding the nearby day caches TFTC!
My first working had the GZ hundreds of miles away. That can't be right. Ahh! read the question properly TrickyT!! Soon at the right GZ, hesitated about putting my hand in though. A quick shine of the phone torch and all seemed right. A snatch and I had it. All good thanks DRML
Nice little hide, looked in all the wrong places before I realised the glad baggie was staring me in the face. Put it back a little better, although I'm guessing the birds are probably trying to become cachers as well getting it out of its hidey hole. Had planned on doing the 2915 series, but couldnt find anywhere near the suggested coords to park - there was a mean looking dog tied to the gate at where I thought was a possible entry, so we backtracked and went for this one instead. TFTC
My main target today was the Day series nearby, but when I saw the colored logs from the road, I couldn't resist pulling over and giving it a shot.
As you suggest, this is not a long multi, but I was completely surprised at the final location. That's what I call a bold hide!
All in fine condition so TFTC again DRML.

Found with stairman1 and geodog. This was a fun little cache. We sat on the play equipment and used our fingers and toes to start counting . After the calculation was complete I put my socks and shoes on and we headed off to the final GZ. A few muggles passing by but stairman1 shielded me while I grabbed the log. All in good condition. Thanks DRML.
There's not many logs on multis or puzzles are there? I had been wanting to attempt this one for soooo long! But I was a little scared I wouldn't be able to work it out, and I figured I needed a GPSr with special attributes to be able to apply the offset. So I've been caching for a bit longer now, I just thoug I'd give it a red hot go today. So I sat down on the rock and did some quick (and easy, thank you ) calculations. I applied the offset in a a manner I thought appropriate and whaddya know, it's just over there. Set off to the new GZ, called the kids over to help out. It led me to a place that could be used to hide a cache so I circumnavigated said thing and found an appropriate hidey hole. Good 'ol glad Baggie was showing so it was a simple retrieve from there.
We spent the next 10 min just throwing and catching a ball. Sometimes the simple things are the best, we all had (literally and figuratively) a ball. TFTC DRML

Nice and easy multi cache. TFTC!!! The park was not busy thankfully so was able to find this one easily.
After looking at (and attempting to solve) other challenging puzzles by CO , this is definitely my type of puzzle and multi. Easy calculation, easy walk , easy found.
Wished they put sun shade over this nice park. The slide was too hot to touch at 10am.

Kaisho53 and I decided to have a crack at this one, mainly as we needed to stretch our time out on the 2915 series!
A quick spot around and the numbers were collected and we wandered off for a fairly quick find, though had to keep an eye on the muggles though!

Having made a slight backtrack arrived at posted co-ords for this cache to find "No Muggles" Yippee at last
This makes attempt No6 for this cache and 1st time I have arrived at this park to find no kids in attendance
Having previously sorted the clues and done the maths already had GZ co-ord loaded so it was only a few minutes before cache was liberated from it's hide & log was signed

dropped in today while out for a bike ride and replaced the log. Added another plastic bag to try and aid in waterproofing the cache a little better.
Completed the calculations without too many problems (however, I need to work on my division tables) and came up with a set of numbers.
Made our way to where it was pointing and found a well hidden, but saturated cache. Unable to sign log, but geowife has photo as evidence if required by CO. Will log a NM.

First stop for the day out with D-Man - loved these little stepping logs... and so did he Got the clues and got the cache location easy enough
It does need some attention though, cache is currently floating in about 10cm of water and was also full of water... logbook is pretty wet as well.
thanks for showing us this park, D-Man had lots of fun

Out for a really big day caching with Censations in Karawatha forest. Over the course of 15 and a half hours we managed about 25kms on foot (17 within Karawatha forest bounds), 42 caches and NO DNFs - gotta be happy about that. Legs are tired now, but what better way to keep fit?
Knowing that the numbers had to end up being whole numbers - and being colour blind anyway - Censations did the looking while I sat nearby tapping away on the GPSr. Didn't have any problems doing the calcs, and since there was a muggle and mugglette on the playground they were probably glad this couple moved away.
Then, as we arrived at final GZ we saw cache straight away and quietly retrieved it before sprawling on the grass together. Muggle and mugglette then left so we were free to extract log carefully (thanks Fangsoki for the effort to dry it - it's mostly OK), sign and return it to it's watery hide.
A nice kid-easy multi. Thanks DRMLs

Out caching with Pprime. Cache No 22. Counted the poles, did the maths and Pprime had the co'ords in hand. Signed the log and we were on our way. Thanks DRML for another great cache.
Bah. I was so close last time. I had a mindset where it would be - and the co-ords didnt work for that - so I was convinced I had it wrong.
I went through everything again. I have to agree with Captain Terror about the wording on the amount of colours. I had managed to deduct that last time. With the same answer as before, I made my way to the GZ again. What's this? Oh blast! How could I have missed that? The cache was a tad damp. I took it back to the car and gave it a new baggie and dried it out a little. The log is looking a bit sad - but still signable. A nice little park - thankfully devoid of muggles today. Happy to have this one under my belt. TFTC DRML

Rainy day, perfect for caching as no one around. Had to think a little about x when got a number that did not fit with the instructions, so tried a reinterpretation and everything fell out fine. Cache log is s bit fragile, and a replacement might help. Fun little cache, thanks for putting this in. XN, SL, #758. This is my "fkuan" cache: I have finally caught up this Singapore based cacher. When I started caching, I could not believe how many he had done. Since then I have found out just how many more caches many have found, and that this is not that high after all. But for those of us in the little island of Singapore, getting anywhere near this is hard work! We don't have much land, and do the cache volumes are relatively low.....
Having placed the kids in their fun activities for a few hours Allofus7 (1) and Geo Mum & Dad Couchmen headed here via "Put in a Parking Lot" which we will do another day because we just couldn't seem to get near it. Well we went straight to WP1 NO PROBLEM.... BUT something went wrong with the calculations or the GPS (The later I think) but we went WAY off track, searched for a while then reenterd the coordinates an found we could have taken a much shorter trip. Well the good part of the story is found on scond attempt NO PROBLEM TFTC SL

Seeing as it was not long ago I cleared out the area, I was happy today to head back in and grab these new caches that have popped up. Parked nearby for this one and plonked myself down on the rock of gibraltar street to crunch the numbers. I must say I found difficulty with determining X. I feel it should read 'The number of colours of the logs to stand on'. Soon had my waypoint projected and off to sign a logbook. Seemed an unlikely spot, but soon spotted the cache. It was bobbing up and down in it's hole in a lovely little puddle. Boy was it gross to grab out of there. Somehow logbook is dry though and replaced the cache with a not-quite-right 'Plop!'. A quick little multi and a very nice park here, could be a good place for a BBQ. TFTC.
Was glad to find the area vacant today to allow me to go about doing the business.
Did the calculations, then followed my GPSr... which said 0m way before I thought it should.... but lo and behold, there was the cache!!
Clever hide, thanks DRML for the multi!

First to DNF I really hate school holidays
I arrived earlier and the park was swarming for kids. Was having none of that so came back later. The park was empty. I collected the clues. Hmm my answers didnt seem to fit with the offset. I think I misuderstood exactly what to count. Tried again. That works.. oh and here comes Old Mate with his kids
Exit: Stage Left. I did glance past my anticipated GZ on the way out but did not see anything. Shall have to return to this one. TFTH.

After a quick count and calculate session, I went to GZ and found the cache with a minimum of fuss. Signed the log and put it back whilst keeping an eye out for muggles. Plenty of 'em around 5 o'clock.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 12:06pm. We counted and recounted as we couldn't find the cache in the first place we looked, but then it revealed itself. TFTC
Once we got the maths right we had no problems. Signed the book and left a small swap

Out and about this morning, I figured I would avail myself of a couple of caches. This one lobbed in my inbox yesterday but I was unable to get out for a hunt so, with nothing particular to do, it was a convenient time to swing by... [^]
I was fortunate enough to arrive at the park to find it muggle free. I jumped out and cranked the GPS and waited for it to come to life as I crunched some numbers. Final coords calculated, I went to update the GPS, only to find the batteries had died... Grr. Back to the Gunniemobile for replacements which turned out to be at home after unloading last night... Things were going well so far weren't they...
I scrambled through the car hunting for batteries but found nothing. Then I spotted the maglite containing just what I wanted. A small sacrifice by said maglite and I was back on track...
New coords in, I made my way to GZ for a quick find. I found the log in a slightly tattered state which was interesting given I was only the third finder... Everything else was fine though.
I resisted temptation to walk the logs as there was a little dew on the tops. I had no desire to end up wedged on top of one of them...
Thanks for the cache DRML. A little bit unprepared this morning obviously, but I got there in the end...

On the way home from work we decided to stop by and soon had the answers
We did some maths and subtracted some numbers and we soon had the final cache location [^]
After wandering around everywhere but GZ, eventually found a spot and said "I bet the cache is there"
Sure enough it was and we soon had our names in the logbook

It was all quiet in the area when I arrived. I did the calculations and the new GZ was not conducive to placing caches so I widened my search area and still did not find anything. I rang DRML to check on their calculations only to find that it my simple arithmetic was faulty.
-
I then recalculated and wandered over to the new search area and found the cache in seconds. It was in a puddle of water and the log was saturated. Luckily the car was handy. I dried out the log in front of the hot vents and returned it in a baggie and returned it to its hiding spot with some additions to keep it a bit dryer.
Thanks DRML it has been a while since I had my last *FTF*
I also stood on the Rock of Gibraltar - just because I could.
