Over in the area heading for Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.
*In the area with woolwood9 heading to the MEGA Event.* We cached from Sydney to Canberra, then after the MEGA, up through Yass, Cowra and Bathurst to return to Sydney. We had a great 3 weeks and enjoyed finding many good caches. SL *tm/ww NZ**Thank you for putting this cache out for us to visit!*
Heading to Canberra from Wollongong, I stopped off to find this cache. A quick find was made and my name added to the log. With everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC.
A very wet day 20th December 2023.Found out in the open. Current log book ok but everything else is wet and soggy. Needs a clean up. Any way TFTC
Found It!A quick find here while in the area. It looks like the cache contents have seen better days.TFTC
Passing through the area and decided to pull in and collect this cache. I initially headed towards GZ in the most difficult way possible, that is until I saw a much easier way to access the cache. Once at GZ, it was a quick find but a slow retrieval. On the cache and near it were a lot of rather large ants - not bull ants but still big... I was trying not to disturb them while retrieving the cache. Now, it was only a few days early that I had opened a cache to find a million little ants run out on the attack... fortunately, today was not a repeat of this - no ants in this cache. I signed the log and replaced the contents as found. I then carefully returned the cache to its hiding spot, hoping I did not upset the colony of ants that had set up their encampment nearby. TFTC and the adventure.
After my trip to Sydney last week, I decided another day trip up that way was in order. I did not go quite as far and spent some time caching along Picton road to Cordeaux Dam and then back to Berrima for some Labs, lunch and the remaining puzzle caches and remembrance dive series back to the highway. It was a great day and I will have to get out to the that same area several more times to find lots of the remaining caches.
After doing some nearby challenge caches, I came over here to check this cache. Once I navigated around the weeds and found the rock pile, the cache was soon found. The new sheet is still dry, so the cache is fine at the moment.
Thanks for the cache WInter Wolf

Doing a run in the area to pick up some challenges and stopped for this cache. Left a dry log sheet. TFTC.
A second find of an isolated cache on my trip south today.
A disappointing one though, it's definitely time for this one to go. The location and hide no longer match the title, description or hint. I couldn't sign any of the ~3 logs due to the container being full of rusty water, and looking at the logs this has been the case for three years and after several NM logs. So I drained it, put it back in a more water-resistant orientation and moved on.

Taking the roads less traveled, it’s quite interesting taking the back roads, some great places to see along the way as we head south.
It’s a little bit sad to find the unloved cache that needs maintenance.
Sorry we didn’t have anything to carry out any TLC

Searched for about 20 mins around the area, there's tonnes of garbage and we didn't know what debris to look under
Bit confused about this one - some earthworks are going on at the moment and the pull over bay the coordinates led to was overgrown with a lot of rubbish around. No find!
#1911 Spotted this cache on approach. Logbook was damp but managed to etch a name. The rest of the contents are rusty and waterlogged so in need of some maintenance. TFTC.
Thanks Easy to find but a bit rusty and water logged. Items found in the box to swap but a little wet and logbook in need of a change due to recent rain.
Found it laying in the open, rusted out and full of water. Needs serious attention. Couldn't sign log. Tried to hide it away as best we could. Tftc
Found by Aussiesavs kiddo André. Left a couple things. TYFTC! As others have said, not near the bus stop.
A quick find on the way to Cordeoux Dam this afternoon. A rather vintage looking container! Curiously though - not really in a nest, nor that close to the bus stop? Nonetheless, tftc!
Found with Littl3Vix. A nice quick park and grab for us today! We put some new paper in a small zip lock bag to help it get through until maintenance can be done. Tftc!
A quick park and grab with MizCupcake. The log was wet and we didnt bother with it. We did replace with a temporary log we signed in a new zip lock bag to hopefully get it through. TFTC!
Quick grab on our way to the southern highlands. Log was a bit wet and may need maintenance. Couldn’t sign or stamp so we took a photo instead.
After a short walk to avoid the road through the prickles we found it. Loved that it was in a tin as a disguise.
Log was all wet so we couldn’t log in it.
Returned to place where we found.

On my way from coast to home. The logbook was wet and I was unable to sign. Tftc!
On our trip from Sydney to Canberra today, we took a short detour through Wilton to pick up a couple of geocaches. This was a quick find at GZ then it was back in the car after signing the log and we continued our drive to Canberra

Well after some reorganisation of our intended travelling it was decided to make the return trip to the Mittagong area and with it the WLS series was on the radar as it was soon to be archived with only a few not solved and some that have already been archived it was now the day to see what we could find.
Given it was in the middle of the area we were currently in the decision was made to add it to the find list today and after a small walk to GZ the cache was soon in hand and the log signed
Thanks Winter Wolf for placing and maintaining this cache for us to add to the collection today.

Swedes on vacation in Australia. Found together with LBTW and in order to save space we logged as team LT. TFTC. Greetings to from
This will be a copy and paste log as I found so many
It was a lot of fun solving the puzzles for these caches. I'll admit I did get some help from a fellow cacher on a handful of them and it was great to have someone give me an extra hint
The puzzles themselves very standard but I did enjoy them and the area. Overall it was a great experience!!
Thank you!

Easy find. Watch out for the red back that is currently calling this one home.

With plenty of the *Lighthouse Series* solved and not found, I decided to plunder the Wilton / Appin area today - the first for a while when I could get out for the day (the Geowife had headed north for lunch with the girls).
I grabbed 18 *Lighthouse* caches today - didn't go for one that has a series of DNFs - and three other caches besides. And used my trackable stamp on some of the caches...
Note to self: need to work on the WhereIGos in the series.
Didn't exactly take the most efficient route today, but I did find everything I went for.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
First non-Lighthouse cache of the day. Again the biggest issue was where to park. Maybe I'm just attacking a few of them from the wrong direction.
Good coordinates meant a quick find.
Signed and repalced. Then away...

Is this a bus stop?
Surely not.
The cache was a quick find. SL and rehid as found then continued my drive through this pretty area which I have never visited before. See where Geocaching takes you!

some others and I found this cache whilst out and about. I am now catching up from some geocache logging after the ozgeomuster and the rest of the weeks full of geocaching. TFTC co's. i apologize for all of the generic logs
Kotuku_SI and I were staying at the same Motel so discussed what we would do today. As I head back home later this afternoon we decided to park up in Wilton with my car and she drove round finding caches in the lighthouse geo-art for as long as possible till I needed to head to the airport in Sydney. This was one of 19 we managed today.
A quick find as K C N and I tried to power our way around some of the Geoart; this cache was nearby and it would have been rude to leave it !
Thanks for this cache; greetings from Christchurch.

Found while enjoying the *2019 OzGeomuster - The Gong*. OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Kitten* who found the cache previously. As we were passing we stopped to sign the log for me. TFTH.
Having collected a couple of the Lighthouse caches, I told my tadpoles I wasn't stopping at all of them - just a couple more on the highway side of Wilton and we'd be done. I was being strong, I told them, not to stop at every cache I saw on the map.
As I drove by this one however I saw our two new NZ caching buddies jessdaphne and injeanious so had to stop. Here's hoping we can catch up in Auckland at the mega next year.

Found while enjoying the 2019 OzGeomuster - The Gong. OCW Throsbyonchurch and DustyJasperJet. TFTH.
Our GPS said this one was in the middle of the road, but then settled and took us to a more likely spot, where we found the cache. TFTC!
Found today with Injeanious sometimes logging as Team JeJe. We are over visiting from New Zealand for the Wollongong MEGA event and are really enjoying some of the great local caches. Today we are grabbing some of the lighthouse series and enjoying meeting other cachers along the way. TFTC!
While running around doing the Lighthouse series JD and I decided to stop here and grab this cache. As we were honing in on the cache we heard a car horn honking and out popped Froggycache. What a nice surprise, what are the chances that we would end up at the same point at the same moment? Great times. Tftc from team Jeje.
Nice quick find while in town for the OZGM and out doing the lighthouse series before it gets too dark. TFTC WInter Wolf
Only cache not part of the WLS series that was located today. The container was located very quickly by Mrs Shifter.
Thanks for the hide WInter Wolf.
Thanks for the hide WInter Wolf.

A rare traditional icon tucked into the WLS series map, it would have been remiss of us to pass it by while driving along. [^]
