Have decided to Disable this cache as this is about the 4th time it has gone missing. Thanks to all the people that found it.
Had a really good look here and no luck. We were pretty sure we knew what we were looking for, but had to give up after a thorough look.
Just as I got there 2 kids went and sat on the seat!! Easy find if you know what to look for. Clever cameo. Nice view.
Beautiful location for this cache, always love the use of this cache container too. Tftc
Seat was too wet to sit on but what a lovely view. Log is very tricky to fit back into container. TFTC
Found a car park a little up the hill and around the corner. Walked down and found cache with my hands rather than my eyes. Signed log. As always, replacing the log book was the most time consuming bit.
Nice view from here.

Yea what a tiny little one you are. Took me ages to put the log sheet back in. Beautiful view.
While on a quick visit to NZ for a relatives 100 birthday we managed to squeeze in a few caches.
This one was within a nice easy walk of my brothers place, it took us a little while to discover the path but once we did it was a nice easy find, thanks for the cache.

Just up the road from where we were staying. Saw about five little rabbits as we took a breather to take in the view.
Thanks for the hunt!
Thanks for the hunt!
We are over in Tauranga to do a few caches for the numbers, because the Geocaching 15th Birthday Event we are attending later this morning is going to be our 2000th cache.
Parked along the way and walked back. Don't know what the lady out picking up leaves on her verge thought we were doing, but never mind.
Soon found, it took us longer to roll up and replace, those pesky nanos!
It certainly is a great view of the iconic mount from here.

Finally got the little bugger. First tried this about a year ago and discovered it was gone. After it was replaced I came back and still couldnt find it - it was gone again. So I have put this off for a while now and today I decided to drive past it again on the way home. First I checked for recent logs. Great, one found yesterday, so should be easy. And it was. Laid my hands on this even before I saw it. Quickly signed log as it was starting to rain. Glad to have finally got this one as it was my closest unfound cache to my home. Thanks NZBiscuit for keeping this going.
Well this little tyke must of been the most visited cache by me so far, on my 4th try took some tweezers and we have lift off! Still quite hard to get log out even with tweezers. Have been past this seat so many times when I used to study at the polytech. One of the things I find awesome about geocaching knowing there are things hidden that the rest of the world have no clue about apart from a few cachers lol. Thanks for the hide on a 41 day streak now
Found this on my 3rd try first 2 times muggles where taking up the seat, tho had forgotten my twezzers and could not get the log out so will have to come back another time to sign log and get smiley hope muggles are not there next time lol
I've been here for about 20 minutes trying to find it! No luck at all. Maybe the cyclone took it?
Decided to head towards welcome bay on the bike and see if I could find an caches today. First one for the day. TFTC
Having spent the day retrieving caches in Rotorua, Mamaku, Matamata and The Mount we figured we'd collect this one in passing. BUT.....nowhere to park. So Mr S dropped Mrs S off to make the find while he drove along the road, did a uey and waited up the road. Mrs S sat at GZ and tried to look inconspicuous in front of the Retirement Village full of Old F.....s with nothing better to do than look out windows and watch suspicious characters.
Quickly spotted and retrieved. Signed and replaced. Hate these little buggers, my fingers aren't as nimble as they used to be. But a find is a find.
Thanks NZBiscuit. Another smilie face for Tauranga.

Yay have been to this spot 6 times with no luck on first 5 visits and it was on 5th visit I went to check previous logs only to find it had been temp disabled, lol so I had been searching for nothing. So. Very pleased to find it today.
08/01/15 16:15 Driven by many times and knew there was a cache nearby. Mentioned to my son and he pointed out the likely location as we were on a Christmas Light's Driveby (it's funny what you don't see when you're the driver). Took opportunity to park nearby today and stroll up with The Princess, who put her hand on it. Cheers, GC.
This cache has been replaced with thanks to KennyClan for providing the nano. Will see if it stays this time. Happy hunting
The cache has gone again, and I do not have any spares at the moment, so will disable till i do
Yay Finally we got a chance to find it. This time we decided to come a bit later in the afternoon. Parked within 2m of the cache, after a quick search we soon had the cache.
Blends in very well.
Thanks NZBiscuit, We loved finding your couple of caches. We are excited to see if you make more fun/clever caches.

DNA (did not attempt) the first time we drove past an old couple were hogging the seat. S o off to your other cache. Found that one so back again but this time it was a teenager spread across the seat sleeping. Will have a try next time we are in Tauranga.
found as part of team stik-a-crane now logging under my own name ... I was there to help make the find but wanting a map and history of my own unique kind.
Out with Sabre2th (our new recruits) while visiting from Auckland. Our only cache find for today couldn't resist just one find - we had a 'home jobs' Sunday today - Cache was as we thought it might be for the location - what a shame I didn't have my 'special' paper cranes (symbol of peace and friendship) with me to add into this one esp since it is our only find of this kind since being in the area. - 19 finds for our weekend away will have to even it off to 20 before we leave!!
Wandered down and checked out the cache this morning and it was indeed missing, so have replaced, so all good to go.
Got a chance today to take the weight off my feet, but had no joy here today. I suspect that as this has not been located since January that it may be gone, as the seat looks fairly new and there is literally nothing to attach a magnetic cache to (unless I got things completely wrong!). I searched every inch of this seat between cars driving past and came up with nothing. Might be worth a check up. Great spot to enjoy the view.
It was a welcome place to stop and admire the view after walking back up from the polytech. The christmas lights look great here at night too. TFTC.
Wow nobody would've found it...went for a walk and tried finding this nano again...should've brought a pen on our walk. Excellent cache.
#203 - another after work cache. Nice spot with a nice view. Took me longer to roll up the log, than it took me to find it. Tftc.
Love the nanos - love the view - love the strange look the lawn mower man gave me
Spent some time admiring the view after signing the log. Great spot. Thanks very much NZBiscuit
Mrs W quickly found this one, didn't linger too long for the view as the day not quite the greatest.

Well, that's no1 for August seen off. Been to this one before but couldn't get anywhere near to park and had kiddies with me. Today was different. Quick stop and grab and left the best mark I could with a blunt pencil - looked like the log was almost full - didn't unroll the whole log though. Didn't get a chance to sit and admire the view as it began to pour down!

Quick find after dark tonight between passing cars, we need to come back in daylight to better appreciate the view! TFTC.
Found it! I was driving past then remembered reading the cache page some time ago. Had a brief look and Viola! There it was!
Fantastic view, used to live across the road from this place and always loved stopping for a time out here.
What a neat view alright, The young one is stoked with 'treasure hunting' ??

The heavens open just as I got to this one very easy fine but got soaked through even the dogs weren't happy standing in the rain.
In the area for kids' sports tournament & thought we'd grab a quick cache before heading home. Nice view & nice hide, tftc
When you feel a need to pull out a camera you know the seat is at the right location for a scenic view. A genuinely pleasant spot to sit in the winters sun and didn't want to leave.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Enjoyed the view of the early morning. Plenty of activity around me but retrieval not an issue. Nice hide but easy to get to when muggles nearby. TFTC

The phone died on me as I was setting up for this one. Knew where to go, but navigated blindly. Took the sidekick on this one and she provided excellent cover. Found the cache more easily, and enjoyed the stunning view of Tauranga from this vantage point. TFTC.
