Logs
Sadly, it is time to say goodbye to our nano-mint-tin cache. We did a cache check after the recent logs, and found that the hide had been compromised, with a camp set up next to GZ, the contents of the container strewn on the ground and the log discarded (and used to practice graffiti) nearby. They even had the audacity to take the McToys
Thanks to all who found this!

Arrived to find a group of teens sitting around cache so did a few nearby caches before coming back and hitting the jackpot. Log was wet.
Looks like a few of the locals might have found this but at least they left it in place. Cubby house now in place at GZ. Cache might need to be moved a bit further away. Thanks fdsawq.
The park was deserted so I took the opportunity to attempt this one, resulting in a straightforward find. I can certainly see the CO’s rationale in naming this cache. The “forest” makes quite a pleasant backdrop. SL TFTC
Found at 12.30am in the pitch black dark.
Nicole and Katie were the only ones brave enough to venture into the bushes.
Took the badges, left bottle caps.
No sign of any TBs, which I was very disappointed about

Found with Nightfairy & Casper, took Toy Dopey but didnt have my goodies with me to leave anything. TFTC
GK3 rushed off as soon as we arrived and found this one using just the clue, his powers of deduction and his keen geosenses. He overcame spiderweb adversity and soon had the cache in hand. Now for lunch and a play in the park. Thanks for bringing us here.

Another day, another find needed for my Finds Calendar. I thought this would be an easy one this afternoon. Arrived at the park to find two women engaged in deep and meaningful conversation over coffee. Hmmmmm.... do I wait for them to depart or ignore them and head on in?? I opted for the latter and walked straight past them. They seemed to ignore me. Luckily, the forest provided enough cover for my activities. I had a 4m accuracy today however my GZ was about 10m away from the cache hide. It didn't matter as the location I found the container was the obvious spot. I didn't spend too much time, just long enough to sign the log, grab a few happy snaps and replace the hide. I walked out past the women and their conversation didn't miss a beat!! Thanks fdsawq for an easy one to complete today's calendar.

Used this one as a christmas treasure hunt and left some christmas bubbles. Got eaten alive my mossies when found at 6pm - beware this spot at twilight!
Even though it was pouring I just had to stop for one cache on the way home from Newcastle. Thankfully a quick find.

Found it, great spot. Trackable sheila not there. Gc31jyj already done but not reported.
Thanks fdsawq... had to wait for the muggles to head in different direction but an easy find.

Pretty busy day geocaching with a start before 6-00am. Nice tour around the area and plenty of good caches found. This cache was located quickly. SL TFTC

After punishing myself with Yurt caches today, it was a pleasure to have a simple walk up and find type. Thanks fdsawg
After a sojourn in the US we can now clean up our local area new caches. A party was on in the park but we were a safe distance away. We approached the cache from a slightly incorrect direction, should have stuck to the path! Easy find in the end! TFTC left GC

Cache Hunt 664; GAFF1; Weather, Suuny/cloudy; Helpers, None; Cache condition, Great; Find of the day, 3rd; STATUS, Found; GPSr at GZ - 10m
The last for the morning. I pulled up and walked towards GZ up the bush trails. Interesting place here. I got to GZ and found the cache straight away in a safe little spot. SL. TNLN and replaced again. It is funny how we hide things with all this technology we have at our disposal. I for one love it. Keep 'em coming fdsawq, TFTC.

Reperio at 1135. Called past here in the middle of doing the 'Higgins Hidden Valley' cache series, and after a short walk through a nice strip of natural bushland, the cache was found. Had to laugh when I saw what looked to be a makeshift pit trap covered with stick and leaves. Somehow I don't think it's quite deep enough...of course it's probably perfect for a rolling an ankle or two!

Searched everywhere for a nano-shaped mint tin but the US satellites didn't want to help me at all!
Seriously, I drove up to this nice little park on Quarter Sessions Road after logging the nearby 'Thanks to Another Max' and found the area completely deserted.
Yes, this is a great place for a cache and there was plenty of room for a more commodious container . . .
Published coordinates were accurate, container was in good shape, and the contents were nice and dry.
TNLNSL.
My only fear here is of cubby-house-seeking youngsters!
Many thanks to fdsawq for another cache in The Hills area. Much appreciated!

Found by Nanny and Bo on a dull early Monday afternoon.
A nice little hide and not a heavily disguised bison in the bush.

Out on a quick evening "clean up" of a couple of local caches, in between thunderstorms. Surprised to see no logs so late in the day and sure enough, Yurt had been there a few hours earlier.
Hope it lasts. This could be easily found accidentally. Anyway, TFTC.

Quick find in the fading light. I too echo the sentiments of previous finders regarding the potential for plunder at gz. TNLNSL. Thanks fdsawq.
After finding 32 caches yesterday we weren't going to leave the house today but this one came up when I was out in the shed and rain was imminent. Okay lets' go! Haven't had a FTF for a few weeks and this one was published in daylight hours so I was in with a chance. I'd planned a cache here a while back but never did it. I was thinking there must be something wrong with Westleigh with only one find on my new cache nearby (Thanks To Another Max).
I didn't have to check the map for this one, drove straight there and followed the GPSr to make a quick find in a likely spot. A mere 19 minutes after publishing I was signing and replacing in *FTF* position. I might bring some more coins along to stock it up. Am a bit concerned about muggle kids finding this one though. Time will tell.
Thornleigh/Westleigh may become the caching mecca that Rouse Hill is now!
Thanks!
