Nice find thanks, swapped an Oosie for a stamp my son was happy to part with!
Making our way towards home over the next few weeks travelling with 2 dogs and a cat we have found caching a great way to give the fur babies a break. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining.
Grabbed as part of our Mothers day adventure. Topped up with a few extra swap stuff for the kids.TFTC!
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 10 - Cleve to Port Lincoln via Port Neill and Tumby Bay. My short days continue and I spent a bit of time around Cleve before I got under way. Plenty of roadside caches along the highways. I ventured into Pot Neill, Tumby Bay and Port Louth to check out the villages. As ever I would have loved to have stopped for lunch or dinner in each one, but I stuck to the plan and made it to the caravan park in Port Lincoln. Once I was set up I went and did a few more caches on the edge of town. A couple more Counties today. I'll spend another day here tomorrow before heading North West to th Nullabor over a few days after that.As I drove from Cleve I stopped at many but not all of the roadside caches. They all went smoothly except one. Oh well, can't get them all .. Or so they tell me.Thanks for the cache wheres_wolly_sharon46621.26 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2017 OZ Mega Alice Springs A#358**Albida**

Caching from WA west coast to SA for the leap year mega. TFTC. A great bucket cache. Nice.
Great hide, tucked nicely in its own little hut! Bubbles still good whoever put them in
My 9th day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. I stayed at Coulta for the last night which was a rainy night then made my way to Port Lincoln then up to Cleve for tonight's camp site. This cache would be find number 29 of 34 for the day and find Number 223 in total for this trip away.
A late afternoon find on my way back North.

With rain coming later today we decided to range north of PL with iluvtrekking to grab some caches. We’re not great at moonlight caching but this container is so large impossible to miss. Thanks where’s wolly
Another cache found with richlink.
Thank you so much to all the CO’s who have placed and maintained caches for the enjoyment of all.

Daylight - although I’ve been known to go geocaching in the moonlight. Out exploring the trails and sights of the Eyre Peninsula and Enroute to Port Lincoln. Day 16 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its a fab day. The Ikera- Flinders Ranges, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and a few in between caches are high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game.
Maintenance run. Containers/log books replaced as required.
Happy caching and safe travels!

Looked, but no luck for us. Whilst about to log a dnf, wally pulled up to do maintenance. Even he couldnt find it. Yay to me. I left whilst he was replacing the cache. I will be back another day to log a find.
During our new years break, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula to travel around the various coastal towns. We started the trip with Jeep trouble, but then continued in our alternative vehicle without 4WD to stick to the main tourist roads where possible. We travelled south-west to Tumby Bay and Port Lincoln via Whyalla, Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay; west across to Coffin Bay; and then north-west to Streaky Bay and Ceduna via Elliston, and Venus Bay. We then headed back east staying in Kimba via Poochera, Wudinna, Lock, and Darke Peak.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Tumby Bay to Coodlie Park. Our first main stop was at Coffin Bay, where we enjoyed a fantastic oyster farm tour experience. We then headed north, making stops at Greenly Beach, Elliston, and then visited Talia Caves as the sun started to get low. Not a bad weather day, although there was still some wind about.
A quick park and grab with this cache being the first of ours for the day. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wheres wolly for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

From Tumby Bay to Port Lincoln. This was today's stage and as always we searched and found some geocaches. Many thanks to all owners, which made this trip a little more varied even in not so nice weather.
This was a difficult cache to locate because the long grass and weeds, coupled with the many sticks and branches which were hidden by the vegetation, made movement difficult. After an extended hunt the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks wheres wolly for the cache.
Today was another day of fun caching on the Eyre Peninsula with ilook4geo. This was a nice quick and easy find and the signing duties were soon completed, before all was put back into place. We were then on the move again, just selecting a few caches here and there to find as we travelled along. Our thanks go to wheres wolly for placing this cache hide.
On my two day trip to Port Lincoln with e.gregory1, we stopped everyone and again to collect some target caches along the way. Majority of the trip was based around collecting puzzles Unfortunately we hit a kangaroo not too far past port wakefield but car is a bit dented.
No moon here today.

#1183 Ninth of forty seven finds on Day 11 of my South Australian geocaching road trip. Nice easy find after a short search. TFTC.
Not found by moonlight, or even much sunlight today as it was fairly overcast. Things a bit more jungly & overgrown around GZ than at time of hiding we suspect. TFTC.
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
I do love caching on a nice moonlit night... there's just something about moonlight that makes me smile

Easily located as we neared Pt Lincoln!!
This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper321. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!

Naaawwww....lovely cache name, but not quite under the moonlight for us as it was late afternoon.
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

Driving back to Adelaide from pt Lincoln. Finding caches along the way. Easy find
Hi there .
We found your cache **"UNDER THE MOONLIGHT"** at 1:15:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 13800.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the local area today. We usually start the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then take a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. Today we thought that it would be nice to visit Port Lincoln to get the car serviced and then log some caches on our way back to camp.
###Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.###
We ended up finding 5 & DNFing 0 caches today.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
