This was one of a handful of caches in Northlakes I had not yet found. I have a dismal track record with these kinds of hides. I remained persistent and methodical and eventually was rewarded with a find. Just as I was signing log someone and his passenger came flying down the footpath on a motorbike at least 60kph. I'm pretty sure that was unlawful. Thankfully I was off the footpath at that moment. Great hide TT.
Went for a drive to Deception Bay, and grabbed a few caches on the way.
Local muggle mutt came over to join in the search - bet he's been there before.
Cache found after a short search, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Treking Trev, for us and others to find.

From the last one, we should have headed back towards the shops and found some down there but this was closest as the crow flies but a long way by road!
We parked nearby and noticed the fence - is there a way through? Found before too long and trotted down the path passing one pair of joggers.
Located the closest part of the wall and looked in a few little rock caves before J stretched a bit further and spotted the guardian. He left it for me to retrieve. Not too scary as we have a few of these guardians on our own caches (fitting with our name).
Lots of swaps. Took dragon bottle, left spider.
Container catch is broken so hard to close shut.

Took us a a while, a few muggles. Few battle wounds from the rocks!! Beautiful little area, thanks for this cache!!
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Treking Trev. We found your cache "Wattle Wall II" at 11:19:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11451.

Today was just the sort of day for a sight seeing tour around some of the roads in the local area. We picked a random cache and let our GPS decide our route by going to the "next closest" one.
In our travels we found 5 (and DNF'd 2).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: [Red]The container is broken.[/Red] The log book is in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Yay! Good one!! Scary spot!! I jumped a mile seeing the guardian of the spot! If you come via car you need to jump the fence (it's not the rock wall on the other side of the road). Thank you!!
Had the biggest fright of my life when I found it. A HUGE guardian is guarding it beware. Easy to find once I used my trusty compass ?? The place has a spooky feel to it but still beautiful!
However, I didn't have a plastic bag with me but the container looks like it's about to break apart.
Due to family commitments, we had one week without geocaching. So today we went out to get some more smilies, accompanied by my Lone Reindeer and Colorado as Harry Hamster with Ellie Elefant had been dropped off before.
Rock walls are not our favourite caches, but this was a fast find. Well filled that box, almost too much, because the lid has been damaged. Thanks Treking Trev.

A great hiding spot, I'm surprised we found it, but when we found it I didn't want to touch it...
Returned with determination. Found it! Very cool find. Reinforced our fears of sticking hand in rocky walls.
Smilie #2375
Headed north to raid some caches & bring a little more sunshine to our map via conquered smilies!
This was our fifteenth for the day.
Came at this one from the road & found a fence between us & GZ.
Geo-mamma offered to 'jump the fence' & do the searching while I had a bite of lunch.
A few muggle cyclists passed by but mission accomplished in short time & it was back over the fence & on to the next cache.

Out with Triciac2 for a few hours today.
It's a busy little area! A few walkers, a family on bikes... but the cache was well out of their sight [^] I had no trouble spotting the hidey-hole, but I was very wary of the guardian! TFTC, Treking Trev.

Found it! TFTC! Big Scary Spider!;) took a little rubber and left a pokemon card!;)
Great find kids loved it took peace stencil & pencil grip left butterfly rubber & a lucky red ruby stone. Big spider got us approach with caution.
Gotcha !!! A few days caching after the Mega while Mrs Temingi is in Melbourne. Retrieved TB to move on. TFTC
Found. Not keen on getting my hand in there but sucked it up and grabbed the cache. Dropped TB. TFTC
Out and about on this glorious day on my North Lakes caching spree.
After arriving in the area, I found the best approach. I had read a couple of previous logs and was a little tentative of what I was about to walk into.
I found the spot quite quickly and saw the biggest redback I have ever seen - eewww. Log signed, cache replaced, I returned to the car for the next adventure - hopefully without redbacks.
Thanks for the cache Treking Trev.

Geograndson is terrified of spiders so he got a scare at this one, despite the warning. [:0] TFTC
My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 29, Redcliffe.
Today is hot, but not quite as humid. I've loaded up my 4WD with GeoSchnauzers, ice water and geocaching kit. I'm off for a day of park and grabs, with the odd short walk for the GeoSchnauzers. I'm heading towards North Lakes because I want to go to Costco.
No 2 of 14 today. Thanks, Treking Trev. Now THAT is the biggest redback I have ever seen. It's even bigger than the one I saw two inches from my eye when I was looking for caves down south thirty years ago ... Good one, Trev. The GeoSchnauzers enjoyed this walk too. There was shade for them in the shadow of the wall, and among the trees.

Last night I scouted out a route for my morning run as we are staying in the area with friends, thinking I will try to collect some caches if possible. After running for a while I thought I stop & check to see if there was any caches nearby. LOL I was within 10m so it was a quick find as there was no muggles in sight. I said hi to the guardian of the cache. Z1 & K2 would of loved this cache. TFTC
Wow, those spiders really do own this spot. Well placed, got me good. Night caching adds to the element of surprise TFTC
After a DNF last visit we were happy to fin the cache, but we were not happy to see a snake near by. We waited till it slithered off and cautiously looked for the cache. TFTC.
Found this with geowife and geokid. Left little dinosaur flow I the dark. Quiet path 4.30 pm. All is good with the cache
I had been in the area for Work, just a quick 2 hour meeting and was only expected back in the office at about 2pm so still had an hour to kill so why not head out to grab a cache or two... The only question I had to ask myself was "Now why would I pick one of the hottest day to do a little Geocaching?"
Being during the day and not a weekend the area was nice and quiet except for the odd local. It did not take me long to locate the cache and do the required logging. On the way back to the geovehicle I stopped and watched the birds cooling off in the local creek. I wonder if there is any fish in this one? I can see a few of the local kids heading down to this area for a bit of a cool off.
This was the 1st find of 3 finds for the day. With no DNF's for the day.

yay we found this and was very surprised by a little friend. It was great find and one of our favourite finds.
iPhine GPS dancing again so GZ was larger than usual. I also parked almost next to the cache on Pomona Ct. So jump a fence, climb down a wall, check about 10 places bingo!
Just as the log book is retrieved, Muggles walking a dog. Quick hide the cache, quick look like you're making a phone call in this very odd place to be making a phone call. They're gone, sign log, replace, August 1 done.
First find of the August month of Geocaching.
TFTC.

These rock wall ones are getting easier now we've done a few! Oh, your prank didn't get me! TFTC
We drove up towards GZ and got to within 6m, before we realised that we would have to find a way to the walkway. We parked and walked down to the path and then made our way along to GZ. Once there we made a quick find, but had to move away as there were some muggles coming past. Once they had gone we were able to sign the log. We dropped off the ladybug/dutch suporter TB and picked up the Compass Rose TB. TFTC
That spider is a sneaky bugger, he was still there for my visit. Gave me a scare.
Out with geohusband, I dropped off one trackable, he dropped off another.
3rd find for the day.

Found by MagnetGirl while I was too busy looking at the pond (what do you expect from an Aquaman?)
Love the extra surprise, totally going to steal that idea.

Bloody Hell!! I think you know what I am talking about.
Found on a trek around this area to try to keep a restless geoboy from getting bored. We saw two koalas, a peacock, a stork and some ibis.
Cache was a bit exposed, so I covered it a bit better.

Another quick find by Geowife. Thanks TT, for the surprise inside! Left TB
I was sure i had been here before. Apparently I was but it was for V1 of this cache. It was a great adventure to make my way across here by geocycle
I wanted the Geowife to open this one, so I stood back and waited for the fun. Instead she got Geoson to do the honours..... great reaction from both of them !
This one scared the hell out of us hahah!! And the trackable isn't in there so please who ever took it mark it off!!
