This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
Today, our plan was to head to the west side of Eyre Peninsula to Coffin Bay, and have lunch there. We enjoyed kilpatrick oysters (hopefully fresh?), before making our way north through Mount Dutton Bay, Farm Beach, and Coulta, and calling into Greenly Bay. We then looped back east through Koppio and Whites Flat, stopping off for a steep hike to North Block also. An enjoyable day to be out and about, with highlights being the coastal towns and views, and hills hike.
Whilst driving past this location, we called past and had a quick look for this archived cache. As it turned out, it was still present, but its condition was terrible, with plastic everywhere. We collected what we could. Thanks wheres wolly for the cache placement.

Having found a cache by the same CO that had been disabled, we decided to have a look for this disabled one as well.
We found the remains of a tupperware container with a broken lid, a badly dried out log book and some other rubbish about 12m from the co-ords listed as have others. It desperately requires maintenance.
Cheers
Lead 'n Lace.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Hi there wheres wolly.
We found your cache **"KANGAROO OF SHELDRICK"** at 10:51:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15702).
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around Coffin Bay today. On our journey we found a wide variety of container types amongst our 12 caches (& 1 DNF's) today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
We found this cache out in the open, 12 metres from where our GPS said it should be. We attempted some maintenance, but left it where we found it. [xx(][xx(]
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 12m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache was in a disgusting state. We spent some time drying it out, but it still needs some "Owner TLC".
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Find #7346**
Day four of the Nullarbor experience was here. This morning, I started in Port Lincoln, with the intent of being in Ceduna by nightfall. I had lots of caches I wanted to find, so made an early start.
This cache was a very quick find, although it is in bad need of some TLC from the cache owner Super wet inside, probably a good idea to replace both the log book AND the container.
**Thanks to wheres wolly for the cache. TNLN**

Easy find as cache was in plane view. Contents including log are drenched. Lid of cache is cracked thus letting rain in. TFTC
Container out in open, and badly broken. Everything inside wet and soggy. I left a dry piece of paper with my name on it, but definitely won't last.

Found couldn't fill in book as very wet. Think this needs a different kinda container.
Found with Redmond, on the way home from the Coffin Bay National Park, but couldn't sign the log as it was too wet.
Found the container but full of water!
Lockbook very wet!

On a Westerly Wandering road trip from Bendigo in Victoria with a focus on earthcaches. I'm also picking up a few other caches on my journey. Found this cache quickly and now I am on my way again. Thanks for placing this cache.
Found at 11:38 AM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob. We signed the log book as "M&P".
Just a couple of more caches before we head to the 1802 Restaurant for lunch.
Wow - what a story This is like a therapeutic outpouring Wonder if Mrs Sheldrick would ever read these caches
We were concerned about finding this cache with the high D/T rating, but David found it just lying there nice and easy
Thanks wheres wolly.

Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass (signed as m & p), at 1140. Stayed at Port Lincoln last night. Today, we cached our way across to Coffrin Bay for an oyster lunch, then cached our way back to Port Lincoln again. Managed to avoid the worst of the weather. A good story. Saw an emu on The Esplanade near here today. Found after a quick search. Our thanks to wheres wolly.
Loved the terrain.... found on a walk back to our shack in the school holidays...with Grandboysoz
An easy find thanks.
Most of all thanks for the story; brilliant. My daughter and I were lucky not to have been collected by a roo bar as we read the story while walking along the side of the Esplanade.

I found this with mummy and daddy and my sister while we were having a holiday in Port lincoln
Wow Wally, if you can flabbergast IF into just a few words on a log, then you must have done something bizarre!! hahahaha
Weird sense of why a cache needs to be here...
Oh well, got another smiley with my Bestie...
Thanks

A quick easy find to fill in time while we wait for someone at the general store. Left a craft kit. TFTC
