We had a good look around for this. There was a couple wires where we thought the cache may be, but came up empty on the actual cache.
No luck with this one and we need to keep hiking. Doing the loop today. Started in Pahia and heading to Russell.
Thanks to swiwinz who found two pieces on the ground. Both back in the hidey hole.
Intrigued by this cache so headed over, found what we think might have been the cache but suspect it is now damaged. sending a note to CO.
We are in the area for a week taking a break from the big smoke and this is our first trip here off season. It's not sunny and hot but it makes up for it in being nice and quiet and super easy to get around.
Taking a drive now down to Russell to have a look around and pulled off here to take a look at this intriguing sounding cache. Mrs Tuolei did the honours here and found it nice and quickly - interesting idea and first exactly like this I have seen.
All good here - thanks very much for the cache.

Up here on a holiday with the side goal of finding as many TMGT caches as we can.
Walking from Okiato to Russell today.
Nice hide. Seen this once before on the Golf Coast.

Found on the ground, i am sure that is not the right place it was ment to be. And thus require maintenance. Found together with NZYODA
Walked from Opua to get this one. This was a sneaky hide. Picked it up when I first got here but didn't realise it was in hand until a did a circuit of the pole. Had a closer look and had it in hand. Thanks for the cache
Today we did the bay of islands coastal walkway. We really enjoyed the nice views of the bay, the wild bushes an the trips with the ferries. But what surprised us most was the amount of caches alongside the path. Thanks for hiding! We really liked the unique way of "hiding".

A nice quick find as we grab a couple of caches whilst over this side collecting the last few of the Tuia Matauranga Geo Tour caches. TFTC

Greetings from Tauranga. So nice to be in the shade as the day is getting to be very warm. Turned out to be 31 degrees. Cache is all good. No tools needed. Fave point earned we think. TFTC
Walked the mangrove board walk with kids in the hot sun. Came up the track and decided to add this one to the list. Cache quickly found - nice disguise! Tftc.
Replaced log to help this one along. Cheers
Thursday - day Thirteen - Kerikeri - Russell with The Seagnoid , toby and William. Zara gets to rest up in KeriKeri.
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Day thirteen of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Russell. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Merry Christmas from the Seagnoid!

Found without any problems. Nice hide. The log book is completly full. New one is needed. It is very hadr the log book to draw out of the micro container. This day I found 20 caches. I walked today the day circle walk from Paihia to Russell via Opua and Okiato. It's nice walking track. Greetings from Slovakia. Thank for the cache.
That is one super container! Unfortunately we could not sign the full and soggy log. Shame, and no room to add a dry log without disposing of the old. TFTC
Grabbing some quick finds while the storm goes through. Log is a bit mushed up.Tftc

Exploring the Russell peninsula this long weekend. Been here a few times before, but never down a lot of the side roads, so thx to the CO for placing these caches and taking me somewhere new. Clever little hide this one. TFTC
We caught the ferry over to spend a day seeing the sights of Russell and surrounds. Of course some caching was done on this glorious weather day.
Superb hide, loved it!
Cheers

Great stash. It was not worry us for a long time, I was immediately clear what will happen. It was one of the more imaginative caches I could see in New Zealand. I'm sending FP.
Thanks for the cache.

Parádní schovka. Nijak dlouho nás netrápila, bylo mi hned jasné o co půjde. Byla to jedna z nápaditějších keší, které jsem měl možnost na Novém Zélandu vidět. Posílám FP.
Díky za keš.

Today we spent the day on the Russel peninsula. We saw great beaches, fantastic bays and a deep blue sea. All caches we visited could be found well and safely. The coordinates and the hints were great.
A nice hide.
Thank you for all the nice caches Moorhelmi from Germany

This day we went with the ferrie to Russell to geocache. It was a wonderful day and the landscape is fabuleus. Two girls from Holland thank you for the cache.
I have seen a similar design in Ashburton. Cool. Quick find thanks.

Pretty cool cache camo thanks LewisDB ! Could have proved tricky ; but luckily I had discovered one of these near Auckland recently !
Another find on my trek from Paihia thanks for the hide, I haven't seen one like this in the states before.
Up North for the holidays and we were on our way to Russell for the day. Noted a few caches on the route so had to make a few pit stops on the way. The GPS had us roughly in the right spot and once in view it was pretty obvious what the cache was. Thanks for the interesting cache and our first find in a very long time. TFTC
We have seen these before so it was a quick find.

We spend more than 5 wonderful weeks in new zealand. It was fantastic. We saw wonderful nature, wildlife and met wonderful people. And Yeees we did some geocaching to get lots of information about the country and its sights. We absoluteley loved it. Thanks to all Owners for showing us what makes the country to you so special. HAPPY NEW YEAR. KIND REGARDS from Claire and Robby from Berlin Germany!!!
6 months of unloved for this darling is so awful, but today you are loved again.
I am well versed in this style of cache as whilst I haven't yet set my own, I intend to in due course.
A quick find for me and a fave for the unloved time.

The weather hasn''t turned out too bad! Ater yesterdays performance it's nice to be dry while caching. This cache proved no problem and I even met a C.O of some of the caches I have done this weekend while he was out walking with others: RussellSchool. Nice to have met you but he knew me from a distance! I didn't know he knew me... my fame goes before me I suppose. Hah hah hah.
It was off to Russell to pick up a few caches today as I was staying in Ohaeawai for a few days.
Liked the camo job here.
Cheers for the cache.

Just back home in UK from trip to NZ so now able to log our finds. Enjoying a stroll along the walkway and this was our third find. An unusual one! TFTC
Nice quick find - spotted straight away - nicely done, seen similar, but this was an interesting take on the idea.
