Down in Brisbane for the day and had a whole day of caching planned but the unseasonable amount of wet stuff falling from the sky might hinder that plan. Ive got my gumboots, raincoat and umbrella so well see how far we get! Very cute design. All good hereThanks for the cache ruzzelzFind #6226
Out with Krcamber today, we are enjoying the caches in this area immensely and this was another cutie. My phone was about 7 metres out with the coords, but its a drizzly day so that wouldnt help. I spied the cache after a few minutes and popped out names on the log. Thanks for the fun cache, ruzzelz
This was the last one for todays adventures with Swearah, its time to head home for some beers and Bad Girls Club While we were giggling about apps where you have to keep birds in the air, Swearah spotted this cute guy. Very creative! Thanks for the cache!
Morning of fishing with ILTW. they showed me a quick find. TFTC. Good bye trackable.
Nearly didnt go for this cache after some frustration around roads that dont really exist or connect in the area, but well worth the detour. TFTC
This is find number 4 for the morning with Sarah. It’s my 1091# cache in total! Two or three minutes of searching for this one.
TFTC.

Such a cute little cache the gps was a little off so took a bit longer to find but definitely worth the drive
Out and about this afternoon to pick up a few north side caches on a beautiful sunny winters day in south east Queensland.
Found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero to locate the cache. Didn’t take long before the cache was in hand and pen applied to the log. Returned the cache to its hiding place and trudged back to the car
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Great cache. Certainly ideal for the location. No pen though, so could only photo the log
After a pleasant morning climbing House Mountain, on my trip home , I diverted to finally find a trio for classic Wingaap caches, some of which have now been adopted. Not certain why I never found these earlier as I cleaned up most local Wingaap caches when I first started caching 13 years ago.
A nice quick find here where I was rewarded with yet another Wingaap masterpiece. I do love these containers. Everything in good order and a fitting tribute.
Many thanks, Wingaap and thanks for keeping the dream alive here Ruzzelz.

This is my kind of cache I spotted it from afar. Log is in great condition swapables are a little melted. First find if the day. Off the the park at Samford valley. Zoie and Bryce3515 love an art cache favourite point from me.
ruzzelz I found your cache Model Bear on 30/5/2023, 4:25 pm. This is my find 5472 and find # 16 today. Very creative. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

I had a DNF recently, so was back in the area for another look. The area has been burnt so no high grass to contend with. This time I spread my search from where gz had me last time- it still took a little while to find. Container has slightly melted from the fire and was tricky to remove but logbook is in perfect condition but some of the swag has melted into the container. Tftc
After the hiking event at Brian Burke Reserve, I made my way slowly home finding the old Wingaap caches along this road. Unfortunately this one seems to have gone. I checked previous photos for what I was looking for and there is nothing like that now at gz. I spread my search a bit but nothing. Hopefully it can be replaced.
One of our favourite Wingaap caches so far. A short stroll into the trees before we had the cache in hand. A family of roaches had set up camp on the top of the container but they soon moves on when we removed the container. Kids swapped some swag and we took the good luck TB to move around for a bit. Log was full as per previous logs so added a few strips of weather proof log paper. TFTC and another favourite point to the collection. Very cool.
4th find for the day after Zacgyver community celebration event. Love this cache. Dropped off a TB too.
Gave me a smile when I found it. Thanks for the effort put in! Log book is full and I didn’t have one on me to replace with. TFTC
Today, with geocaching partner busy with a medical appointment over lunch, I decided to take a few hours in picking up a few geocaches around Camp Mountain and then returning via Samford Conservation Park. I was anticipating heavy rain all day, thus planning on a few home garage projects, however the rain held off, thus allowing geocaching outside rather pleasant. Several nice parks and creative wingaap geocaches were found, making it an enjoyable outing.
It was weird that some P-plater was parked nearby, but perhaps was just having a rest over lunch. Undeterred, I parked and made the walk in amongst the trees, and this geocache took some walking around before eventually, I spotted the elusive marsupial. Another awesome metalwork sculpture! The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook looks like it is full, as I needed to stamp the back cover. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

At GZ, the adventurous team who were having a great day out in this area all had a good chuckle at the beautiful find at GZ.
Model Bear…. what a great dedication geocache for you.!
Wingaap… your creativity and metalwork is beautiful, and we have been enjoying many of these over the last few weeks.
Thanks,
Domsky

This was a thoughtful hide created with love and dedication in mind, so i'm going to give you another favourite for the effort gone into making something not just a bison in a tree or a mint tin in a guardrail.
Cute and cleverly concealed container too.
Thank you wingaap for giving us another of your wonderful creations.
Found yesterday with three other dedicee's.

Great cache! Log is full. Have messaged CO. Favourite point from me. The climb here was a walk on my bike but what a great spot to listen to the birds singing once I got up here. TFTC.
Today I ventured out towards Samford and surrounds to grab myself a bunch of old caches and a wide variety of other caches to. It was an action packed day with plenty of highs and lows, literally. I climbed mountains, walked along creeks and did a tonne of bush bashing. It was an epic adventurous day and I had a blast!
In total I managed 28 finds and 1 DNF.
This one took me an awfully long time to find for some reason, I had a good idea what I was looking for and where, but my eyes must be painted on because I couldn't see anything. I was about to give up when I decided to have another quick look a bit further away from GZ and that's when I saw the cutie.

So cute wingaap you have done such a good job on these. Thanks and fav point
I can see why this has 50 favourites- such a cleverly designed cache. Thanks Wingaap!
Found this one today and who would be there? Why it was Smokey Bear who we picked up again today for some more adventures. To wingaap once again TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
After planning my exercise this morning, armed with Geopup and hand sanitiser, I made my way out to find this cache.
Arriving at gz, it took me a minute or two, I then found a wonderful cache. Another fantastic piece of craftmanship!
With the log signed and all replaced as found, I made my way to the next one on my journey.
Thanks wingaap for the cutest cache - a fav from me.

Very impressed on the amount of work and craftsmanship that went into this cache. I wish there were more like this - amazing work!
A beautiful way to finish the day. Will have to save up our favourite points before visiting any more of your caches, they seem to disappear quite quickly when we do. Worth it, TFTC!
Out on a birthday geocaching adventure with my daughter, A (she thinks she's been kidnapped, but is going along with it since it's my birthday). Have recently become a big fan of your work after finding quite a few examples of your handiwork a month or so ago.
I picked this area for this day as there were lots of nice lunch options, interesting shops and lots of cool caches unfound by us.
This was another fitting tribute - cute one!
Took wheel, left unicorn. Also took the travel bug, RUVI which seems to have been lost and just started travelling again. We will help it get moving....

Cache 8 for the day.
Out and trying to get a few in a series (Catweazle) to clean it up.
Yet a s I am as close as I am, must pick this one up too.
Okay, to GZ, and had To look about for a bit. Had to watch a few muggles go by, which was quite a surprise here. Okay, found it at last. Signed the log, and returned cache to hiding.
Thanks for the cache.

After heading down Mailman's Track collecting a few caches, I doubled back and headed down here. As I pulled up near GZ, a guy and his young daughter were riding along the road. I can only assume that they are locals otherwise that little girl is superhuman to be riding around in these hills. They pulled over for a break and a drink but I headed out of sight to find the cache.
The cache was spotted quickly but unfortunately, the bottom is falling out of the container and the contents with it.
Thanks for the cache.

First day of the “You might be a caching connoisseur if...” challenge, and where else to head but the hills of the Samford Valley for the king of creative creations, Wingaap for some high favourite Point caches. Next up I alighted the geo vehicle for a short stroll into the bush . A case of elimination revealed a very cute cache. Have another FP . Tftc.
Found 9m away from where GPS wanted me. As previous cachers have noted, the bottom of this container is on its last legs. Note to self, add duct tape to gc kit. TFTC.
Whenever I go caching, it's generally in a piece of Brissie bushland, and I always keep an eye out for sleepy grey furry friends in trees. Still yet to see one – even in Daisy Hill – so this little dude was a nice find, and the next best thing. Thanks for the cache, wingaap.
