I had parked overnight at the domain, and grabbed this cache in the morning before heading off, TFTC
Today is my last day (day 4) of the Alps to Ocean bike ride started in Kurow and was a shortish (28km) ride. While I had a wee top up of the battery at the caravan parked on the side of the road - I came out for a couple of caches.Wandered along here first - just had to wait for a gap in the passing traffic before reaching in.TFTC
Bit slow to find the correct post but it was there once the post was located, outstanding! it was....the post that is, tftc.
This was one of a number of caches I located in the Duntroon area today. Didn’t spot it quite where I expected it to be, but it was close enough. #6269. TFTC.

Out with busy paws and on our way to Oamaru. Could just reach this one laying down on the job. A very cute train in cache which I took out to show it the views and put back. Thanks for the cache erninz.
Luckily not much traffic and a quick find. I was surprised at the size of the container! TFTC!!
Today started cycling the alps to ocean rail trail an awesome experience. With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
Day 3 of my Geotour. TMGT goals complete. Time to get out of the car (yay) and go for a ride.
This gave me a laugh. My first thought was...really? Then I realised that the bank climbs rather than the base of the post is at my feet. An easy grab.

A nice big container. I had intended to do some cycling towards Oamaru from here but it's too cold for my liking. I'll have to kill time going for park and grabs while it warms up a bit.
Took longer than it should have. Was easy in the end. Nice to pass through Duntroon again, thanks!
Passing through at the tail end of the very heavy rain and floods. This cache has survived! Thanks for placing it.
Hmm not quite where I was expecting to find this one. Nice quick find all the same. TFTC # 15,553
Zusammen mit Panne Koppa und Mini_JayJay in diesem kleinen schönen Ort eine kurze Pause gemacht und ein wenig die Füße vertreten. Dabei konnten wir diesen cache dank Hint schnell finden.

Flew down to Dunedin today with my usual crew rustynz and her hubby Rebel98. This trip involves a very long mission to obtain as many as we can of the new Tuia Mātauranga GeoTour series. We started in Auckland and intend to finish the series sometime next year. Only 100 caches to get for the souvenir… lol. We do have other caches on the horizon and we’re trying to get as many of those caches as well.
It's about 9:45pm, we're still heading north to Timaru then back to stay the night in Dunedin. But rusty wanted to stop here for this cache so we did. All fine here.

On a caching adventure with some Westies (rustynz, rebel98 and gorby) to Otago and Southland, on a long weekend of caching fun
For some reason I thought this was on the other side of the road, once I had figured out what was going on, it was a matter of reaching for the cache.
Loved the cache, a bit of fun. Thanks for the hide erninz and for bringing us here

An overnight stop on our A2O ride has us in Duntroon for the night, so, I walked the entire town and got all of the caches
I went on past this cache looked up the river, grabbed a couple of photos and wondered if there were smoked trout in the water?
Thanks for the cache

Decided to make a trip to Duntroon over the Dansey Pass. Lots of logs to find and sign and this one was one of them. TFTC
Cool little cache. There were kids perched in a tree nearby happy as but they were looking other way. Thanks for bringing us here erninz
We cycled the Alps 2 Ocean cycle trail a few years ago and the section from Duntroon to Oamaru, after several sunny warm February days, turned to a southerly storm with fresh snow falling low down on the tops. Reaching the end became far more important than looking for any caches. So on a beautiful, clear, sunny September day with delightful vistas of snow on the hills we set off to do this section again and look for a few caches on the way. We were amazed at the changes that had been made to the trail, in fact it was almost a different ride. Many thanks to the A2O organisation and many thanks for all the people who have placed caches along it.
what an awesome little town I am really enjoying having a look round tftc and bringing me here
Found with StreetWalker on day 2 of our Queens Birthday weekend, on a most enjoyable Waimate - Kurow - Waimate round trip. It turned out to be a good choice to head inland as the weather was fine (though cold!) until we reached the coast on the last stage of our journey.
We were amazed that such a tiny town had so many caches! Thanks for another in the railway series and good sized container too. TFTC.

Tufty and I started the day by driving to just below Elephant Rocks and caching along the Maerewhenua River section to Duntroon. This was the last cache of our cycle ride Time now for a coffee. Spied the lady putting up the Open sign at the Museum and asked her for directions to the nearest coffee shop. She said Kurow! With the last cafe closing 2 years ago and the pub being a pub without either beer or a floor, she offered to put the jug on for us and make us a cup of Instant Coffee. That was very nice of her, but we politely declined and said we would make our way back to Elephant Rocks and pick up the cachemobile. Thanks for the cache erninz
Heading to Omarama for the weekend with a few caching stops along the way. Nice quick find. TFTC
Found with TTT. Having a wonderful time caching with the group and going to all of the Geofest events! Thanks for the cache!
Day 3 of our geofest caching. Out today with our trans tasman team (logs being signed as (TTT) to avoid using up logbook space. Today was at a gentler pace and doing some earthcaches and getting any trads along the way. Lovley little village with heaps of history, thanks for bringing us here. Tftc
Visiting Vanishing World and thought I might as well check out this nearby cache. An easy find. Tftc
Cycling the A2 cycle treck. I took me 3 minutes to find it. Thank you for the cachw and Greetings from Germany.
We are cycling A2O, and today we are spending the afternoon in Duntroon. Tftc!
Found while enjoying a sunny day in North Otago caching with Miss EU and drawp. Great cycle trails, made for some fun caching. TFTC
