Had a look for it then I read the previous log. Perhaps it should be archived or replaced. We enjoyed our walk around the town on a beautiful day.
Stopped and had an ice cream here....yum yumm yummuy. Cache in hand before i even got to the place, retrieved stealthily as there was a muggle taking a break from the bike ride. Cheers for the hide.
After a day at work we needed a nice evening bike tour through the home zone. Many thanks for this great cache, was easy to find
Must be quite a few of these types of memorials in all sorts of little towns around NZ. Didn't take long to locate the cache. Appreciate the hide. Thanks.
jr taybee taking Sr taybee on the road trip in the south island Cache in good order sign log booksee Taybee log. TFTC
our fishing and cache trip brought us past here, thank god for the clue as my phone gps was playing up #3 on our trip
Looked for this one a while back in the dark and with a cold frost so not a very long look. Today walked straight to the cache and grabbed in first spot.
Quick find. The level of difficulty probably doesn't need to be more than one-and-a-half, I would think.
2nd of 13 on a Banks Peninsula loop today. #399. TFTC.

Found it exposed under a lamppost, placed it somewhere more concealed and covered it with a rock
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
After flying into Christchurch today and visiting Banks Peninsula, we then headed out to Arthurs Pass and found this cache along the way. After a short search this cache was soon spotted. TFTC!

Noisey bunch of ladies celebrating close by, out of site so I was able to grab without being spotted. Thanks for this one, now home for Christmas after a day trip to Akaroa.
Quick grab before the walk with Bank peninsula conservation trust. Scorching hot at Fishermans Bay
[As there was no mention of ]how FAR east[ it did take me longer than it should have, but I got there in the end and all without being muggled. I consider that a bit of an achievement on such a busy corner!

No sign of cache. Was with Magsie20 today & she had done this cache in the past. After I had looked for 10 minutes she came to see where & what I was doing !!!!She said I had looked in the right place & the cache was definitly gone.
TFTC. Searched for a while. Just as we were leaving mmxx243 spotted it lying on the ground in the open. I don't think it's in its proper hiding place.
Biking around Chch I stoped in Tai Tapu. 10min to breath and looking for the cache in the dark ! TFTC
Was out working in Lincoln so thought I would shoot ast here as every other time I have been out it has been busy. Searched and searched was about to jump back in the truck with a DNF but thought hey it might be there, and it was. Day 20 of 31 days of geocaching. TFTC.
Found it. Spent the day geocaching in Akaroa and picked this one up on the way home. TFTC
Cache is at the place where it should be...
We found it after a short search. Cheers!

Boy was it wet today!!! We were getting cabin fever and we needed an outing. So we decided to head to the Tai Tapu store for a delicious ice cream. We had an outing, iced delight and we needed a cache today to finish off June as today was our last 'dot day' in June. Mrs TheWanglers and the cachelets kept vigil as I ducked out of the warm dry truck to make the find. GPSr wanted me too far to the river and then I just put it in the pocket and used the 'cache sense'. Soon had my hands on the cache. It was a wee bit out in the open. I suspect the wind might have displaced it. I took the cache back to the truck as my girls wanted to see it. It was soaking wet, I was glad for the waterproof paper. Now off to drive the truck through big puddles.
Thanks for the cache.

I used my car to shelter my search for the cache. The coordinates were spot on as I just stood back and let my eyes wander to possible hiding places and there it was.
Called here while passing trough Tai Tapu this afternoon. When Mrs agcnz and I approached the cache site with GPSr in hand, there was a family with three youngsters having afternoon tea on the grass. When they spotted us, they showed immediate interest - the mother knew about geocaching and was interested in getting into it with the children. I ended up showing them the geocaching apps on my iPhone which was what they had available (although I was using my Garmin 62s for finding the cache). Mrs agcnz put me to shame by spotting the cache first while I was searching amongst the leaf litter nearby so we had a good demonstration of a cooperative find and what a micro cache looks like. A good hide too! Signed log, TFTC.
Very clever. A good one to find at night. Every other time I have tried to get near this it was busy.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

After 500+ caches I am starting to know the tricks and found this one very quickly. Should have left Chelzea to find but did not want to be there all day Been to this location several times before for other caches so starting to be familiar. TFTC
Daughter went straight to it, grabbed, logged and put back while her partner hunted high and low, looked at it 3 times before "finding it" and getting told we had done it all already.
Once around the memorial. But then I looked at the terrain rating and in the next moment at the cache. TFTC
Been out for a drive had a picnic at Port Levy on the way back to Chch stopped for a coffee across the road the perfect opportunity to check this GC out, a quick find. TFTC
Out with ako99 for caching, a picnic &bike riding. This was first cache of the day. Tftc

Stopped past here on our way to go pick up my car which I had parked relatively close by for a carpooled attack on the CANZ cache.
Well, looking about freely, as noone around so shining torches everywhere... Noticed soon after that there was torches shining about a couple dozen metres over too, on the other side the fence... and thought they were cachers as they shined on the tree... then I realised... AWKWARD!! That is someones house and I have no idea why they were shining torches at their trees, but someone lives there!!! Ooops!!
And after ages of searching the general area of the hint, were about to give up. And pretty much just as we did I thought of a good cache spot. Just a quick check was in order before we left!!
And sure enough, cache Hehehe
TFTC!!

The goal for today was to find CANZ: Canterbury. I made the trip out to Levy's Saddle via Prebbleton & Lincoln where I found a number of fun caches. I'm sure I found a cache here some years ago.

Found this one before heading over the road for afternoon tea. Nice hide, such a beautiful area!
Picked this cache up today while exploring near home (well near-ish!).
have never been out this way before, we've only recently moved to Burnham from Dunedin, but it was great to be out here enjoying all the tranquillity.
This memorial is a real testament to the care of the local community - I don't think I've ever seen a war memorial anywhere as spotless at this. Marble often gets lichen growing on it, and even though this is a heavily textured marble it hasn't got a spot on it.
