Looks like this one is missing. Time to free the location up for someone else to hide a cache.
Second attempt here, same result.
Found much trace of the old bridge- but no cache.

Day2 of the bro's (BaldEd + Tufty) caching tour of Greymouth and the surronds. After the great exercise of the day - the Point Elizabeth Walkway from Cobden to Rapahoe we crossed the road to seek this one. Explored parts of the structure at GZ but could see nothing. Too tired and hungry to persist searching longer than 10 mins so we left.
#14869. The remains of the old bridge are well hidden. Good to include an MD cache on our trip to the coast. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of a long weekend visit to Greymouth.
After finishing our walk around Pt Elizabeth, we headed to Rapahoe to look for food - we were unsuccessful here, so found a few caches instead.
This was the first of 3 caches in and around the town. SW did the honours here. TFTC.

Difficult to find in long grass log getting damp.so shifted cache to drier place within a metre of original placement.
A bit tricky to get to and after much scrambling in the undergrowth it was finally spotted.TFTH
It was quite tricky getting to where the cache was hidden as it's getting quite overgrown. Found after a bit of a hunt. TFTC.
Took sometime to find this one looked in all the obvious places for a start and then work out. are there it is easy to find when you look in the right place. TFTC
Tough find late this morning with eltee291. Looked for a good 5 minutes before finally spotting a more likely area and then a little more searching revealed the cache. Sweet! Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada! Thanks for the cache!
Tricky find today with hingis20 as we are on our way to Punakaiki. Looked for quite a while for the remnants and then found them in the dense undergrowth. Soon after that hingis20 was uttering the words "I've got it!". Visiting NZ from Victoria, BC, Canada. TFTC
Finally, the day has come and I have arrived to New Zealand. This three week long trip has been planned for more than 6 months. First of all, I was going to visit my daughter and her boyfriend, who has been on the islands for almost one year, next was to see as much as possible of both North and South islands. My daughter had done a day to day planning on where to go and what to see. This trip was not planned as a Geocaching trip, but we should definitely search for some caches all over the islands.
Day 12. Mapua - Rapahoe
Today we went to the west coast and Rapahoe. A short evening walk from the camp site to get to this one. Here we had to search for quite a long time before we could get our hands on the box.
Logged together with Klövsson and Familjenloov. Tftc

The day is coming to an end as we try for the last few finds and fortunately this was one of them. THANKS for the placement.
We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun. Thanks for placing the cache.
We headed down to the river and I soon spotted the object. I poked my head inside to find the right place. It wasn't in the first place I looked but it was in the second place. It was easier to get to than I expected it to be. I didn't have to feel around in all of those wet dark cavities and after all. Tftc.
It took a wee while for Karma reprint and I to figure it out however there are only so many hint objects before he reached the right spot. Cheers
Lots of places to look for this smiley. Found in the end with a bit of perserverence. Cheers.
Found on a raid to the Coast with Kiwi Moose. Signed the log KM+KR or KR+KM to save log space.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

We drove our camper van from Frans Josef to Punakaiki today and we found a lot of nice places thanks to these caches. Greetings from Sweden. TFTC
No cars or people around, so thought we can finally grab this one. As soon as we stopped, so did everyone else. Managed to wonder down and find it without too much trouble.
Log book a bit damp but otherwise all good.

This one took a little tip-toeing as not to trip and fall (and of course I parked on the wrong side of the river too, and walking on the bridge was.. fun with the fast trafic here).
The cache was a quick find as soon as I located the hint item.

Cool hide. Was about to head back to car as getting cold when I spotted something which led me to it. Tftc
[green] Drove down Friday night for a three day wages to petrol extravaganza. Doing the Blenheim - Greymouth - Westport - Blenheim loop. Drove to Reefton Friday night so I could grab some empty log books early the next morning. That done its on with the main mission. An awesome three day experience, only about 30 caches per day, but two badge upgrades, wekas, seals and penguins, an awesome coast road and coastal walk. Wonderful.
A challenging find at Te Awa O Rapahoe. I love these old bridge structures

Watched eels and smelt in the river and the fantail above. Overcast windy day, all in all, relaxing.
A not so quick find but not a slow find either. Our co ordinates were out about 6 metres. TFTC
Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today in and around Punakaiki and on the way to Greymouth. We had a lovely journey!
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

We are fast learning that Moneydork's caches are just that little bit tougher than the others. Found this one though. The hint helped. Cheers.
We made this harder than it needed to be by going in the wrong side, but dakotacats soon had the cache in hand and threw it up to us to sign. TFTC
About to give up when t/blue rechecked the obvious spot and found it what I missed. TFTC.
had a quick look where I thought it might be and then saw where I should be searching - quick find then. Really interesting location - thanks for pointing it out. TFTC #6003

Nice and gently down as it was slick with dew, then a quick find. Thanks for showing me the remains of the old bridge.

The things we find! . Thanks for the stop. Last time I was here I developed a broken windscreen.
A lot of our roadtrip with Dopeyer (who is visiting from the UK) seems to have been spent by bridges. An interesting search in the rain, with Zekeasaurus rather annoyed he wasn't allowed to join in, but no luck finding the treasure.

I did wonder if a trap door/hole might suddenly open under my feet but it turned out to be a safe approach. A nicely hidden cache. Thanks Moneydork for placing this cache.

We trod very warily approaching the cache, checking there was solid earth under our feet at each step. Otherwise straightforward. TFTC
Arrived just on sunset so located with the aid of a torch took a while to locate but interesting what lies under the roads TFTC.
After negotiating the road, we couldn't find it. Planned to try again but weather beat us.

A nice wee scramble to discover some more of the history of the areas bridges. Had to be careful that I didn't fall in the river. TFTC

Oh golly gosh, this was slightly awkward to get to, let Darby aka Ted do the clambering on this one, but yee ha he came up with the goods. Saw a whitebaiter setting up a little ways up the river. SL. TFTC.
Day 2 of our Criss Cross Tour of NZ before the Mega. Heading from Reefton to Greymouth today.
Sent Mr Felix yet again in search of this cache. We actually both approached GZ, but with the rain of the last few days and today aswell the area was quite slippery and Mrs Felix is prone to falling or slipping so it was decided not to tempt fate.
Thankfully it didn't take him too long to find once in a position to actually search.

A stop between showers on a caching run out to the coast with Hazedarus. Found after a short search of several possible spots. TFTC.
Another find for Holymu and me on a caching day taking us West as far as we could get. GZ was soon identified and only minimal blood was offered to the geo-gods to afford us success. TFTC.
I knew this place many years ago when the Kotuku Surf Life Saving Club operated on this beach. Was down here most weekends over the summer. TFTC.
I liked this one with the old bridge vestige on our way to Pancekes rocks ! Not so easy though ! Thanks for the cache / Merci pour la cache. Greetings from France !
Too difficult to find in such a visible location. I hate caches where people are looking and pointing at you while you search and this definitely one of them. Maybe if I did it at night it'd be ok but I think this is just not one for me. Sorry.
Two boys were fishing under the bridge. We tried to be sneaky but they saw us, obviously. Hopefully they do not find the cache container. They shouldn't be able to since it's well hidden.
7:20am Beautiful rainbow sunset! Nice easy find early in the morning heading to Denniston. 1/17 for the day. Took Lady Bugg TB. TFTC
