Second find today, easy find, several soggy bits of paper, including an old log in there though! TFTC
Good find! For future finders make sure you don't go when its peak hour unless you want a lot funny faces! Haha TFTC
Out caching for the afternoon with beconaze. Nice pole. The industrial park is a bit of a ghost town on the weekends. TFTC.
At first it looked like it belonged to the pole with its color easy find . Contents are damp
There was a guy in his ute, eating his lunch right here! Steed pulled up on his bike and went around the blindside, hoping he might be able to get it, but it wasn't there. He could see it, but it was right next to the ute, so he had to leave it.
Out caching with the Tawhai Team today looking for some caches in the Highbrook area.
Had trouble finding a parking area, but it was a short walk with an easy find as we could see it as we approached GZ.
Thanks for placing this cache funkymonkyzone

One our way to pick up a couple of solved puzzled so picked this up on the way past, couldn't convince the kids to do another cache at another big pole. TFTC
I was in the area today to start the new year off by doing some geocaching. This was a straight forward find after spotting the cache as I arrived at the GZ. TFTC!
Log and contents are absolutely soaked. Some plumbing tape around the opening will help. A new piece of paper to sign was in there and dry, however.
Our first find in the big pole series. Will have to return to the area another day to collect the rest. TFTC.
Start of the loop for me. I'm aiming for 365 caches this year and am well behind, so this evening should be productive. Placed saturated logs in small bag and put new log with 44 spaces in another small bag. Old logs would not have dried in cache anyway. Cheers!
Found while out for a Sunday walk ... decided to head out late morning as the weather was predicted to turn nasty again later on in the afternoon. Parked nearby & were just looking to get some steps done as the previous 4 or 5 days had been wet & not conducive to getting out & about. Nice easy find with little traffic about. Yep ... there sure are a number of these about ... will have to come walking out this way again sometime as there are some more caches to find on the other side of the Highbrook Industrial Area. TN:LF:SL. TFTC. #598 for us.
Found as part of stik-a-crane now logging under my own name. I was there to help make the find but wanting to create a map and history of my own unique kind.
from one pole to the next - mini found this one super quick - before I had even got off the bike ....#184
What better way to keep your mind off food and hunger when starving yourself for 40 hrs than to go in search of a few geos and get some exercise bike riding ...

Well hidden! Sure is a bloody big pole! A nice trail of caches for us today.
On our way home but ooohhh so close to 300 we had to crack this today. Easy park and find and we saw the pole miles away. MissNZTravellers found this for us. TFTC
I couldn't make out the faces on this totem pole, but I was able to find the cache anyways. TFTC.
Had to get out of the office for a bit and saw this cache nearby so just had to take a look.... Nice easy find which was lucky considering the time of day when the couriers are rushing around the area on a mission!! Logbook is completely full and a little damp though. Thanks for hiding.
Lots of postal vehicles in late afternoon. The first place I looked I missed it. When I eventually retrieved it I couldn't understand why I didn't see it first time. I think I have only one more bloody big pole to locate.
I was looking to geobiking with my two younger brothers this afternoon and thought that Highbrook was a good idea. And it was! We had lost of fun. The terrain was not too bad and we found all the caches there but one. This one was our first of the day. A quick find. TFTC
Us and a couple of other cachers decided to try and clear out all the caches in Highbrook. Step one: find a day when we are all free. Step two: pray that it doesn't rain. Surprisingly we managed to complete both steps!
This was our first cache of the day. Can't say I have even seen power poles this big and imposing before. Quick find with ftdbur and phscomike.

terrible placement by the previous cacher, could spot it from the side of the road when heading towards the pole to find the cache, have been replaced at a more secure location under the pole
On the way home from MEGA and seeing some family in Auckland. Only got one day at the MEGA but managed a diving trip so all wasn't lost.
Again, found similar caches in the area, but this one didn't take as long to locate.

OMG, Not another Bloody Big Pole cache the same as the earlier 3 I had just found? No, it wasn't! This one is not a magnetic Eclipse tin! Unfortunately, the logbook was soaking wet and I had to almost emboss my name in it, as neither biro or pencil left a good impression. Needs maintenance.
Fast fun find for our number 50 find!! Log too wet to right in, needs replacing.
Was in the area to pick up a package and needed a cache for the day. A quick easy find. The logbook was a bit damp. My August streak is almost at an end. Day 30 complete. TFTC.
In the area with Lycurcon collecting a parcel and he needed a cache for his streak so we stopped by for this one. Quickly found a signed, though logbook was very wet. TFTC.
Up here today with Nova Lightning to see if we can clean up a few caches to try to meet our own challenge that we set ourselves to achieve by the time the MEGA rolls around.
Wandering around the area as usually too many courier and forklift drivers to retrieve these without being noticed. A nice little find without difficulty as the early morning fog tries to clear for a great day of caching

Had planned a 'big day' with Cats&Dragons and we were trying to collect 50+ caches today.
It was an early start to the day (5.00am) or for steve just a normal start to the day. We headed up to Auckland and started clearing out the area.
This was a nice easy find before heading off to the next one.

As previous folk mentioned ,,, very sodden log paper for some reason ....tried my best to write ...
Our first cache of the day out east for the afternoon. Indeed a bloody big pylon and a nice easy find. Log was sodden, sorry didn't have any small enough to replace but managed to scrawl our name on it, tftc
Had already found a cache for the day but fat fingered the cap of the micro and lost it into foliage. For some strange reason it just felt wrong with me as claiming that for the find of my day when I didn't successfully replace it! So I found this one on the way to pub quiz tonight as well, and don't worry, I managed to successfully replace this one without losing anything!
As previous finders have mentioned the log is very damp and could do with replacing.

Easy find - lots of muggles driving by. My first geocache!
Needs Maintenance - log book is wet, still useable.

On our way to Why Not clearance shop, as I'd promised the kids a trip there in the school holidays. Intended to get more caches, but not too easy to find parking during work hours, and it was pouring with rain. The cache was really wet, so took it back to the car to drain out. Had trouble getting pages of logbook apart. Managed to sign and replace. I've not noticed these huge poles, on previous trips out this way.
First pole on our bike ride around the walkway. Not a lot of people around on a long weekend Monday. TFTC
Out East this morning with the desirable Mrs TWS, a nice easy one here
