Logs
I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi muddycachers
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Too busy looking at my GPS and almost got run over even before I started looking for the cache!!!
Numbers bouncing a bit here but eventually had cache found signed and returned.

Lots of possible spots & I see it was found a week ago but no luck. It was my first search but not meant to be.
I told my three girls that they were only allowed a play on the nearby playground once they'd found the cache....
The container was soon in hand!
The container was soon in hand!
On my way into Palmy to do some shopping and decided this would be my cache to continue my daily streak of consecutive finds, being number 169 I think.
As noted by others, the cache is in a bad state missing a lid and the log is not much better. All good here now: replaced cache with something closer to the stated (small) size; replaced delapidated log and placed in a fresh resealable bag, along with the existing log. See attached photo. You're Welcome. TFTC

Found with 7 and 4 year olds. Looks like the water level has been within 15-20cm at some stage. Confirm no lid, paper still mostly dry.
#50. This one was special. This ball park has been my home association to 30 years. Couldn’t let this one go without a find after being in Aussie for 10 years. Hands will get a bit dirty on this one but found. SL TFTC
Came back for another go with a bit more experience under my belt and found it within a few minutes. No muggles about so had the chance to scrabble around on my knees til I felt it! Not quite GZ on my GPSr. TFTC
Lots of muggles around which made searching hard. Will come back with a scout friend who knows the spot
I've managed to contrive to spend so much time in and around Palmerston North over the last couple of months that I am managing to get around to tackling all those caches that I have been looking for a while but hadn't managed to have a go at before or else ones that I have previously failed to find.
I noticed a recent found log against this one , so thought it was time to pay it another visit. Rummaging around all the places I had previously looked, I finally came across the container. On opening it to check the contents, the lid came away from the body and dropped into the creek, not to be recovered. On inspection, the contents were as previously reported IE nothing more than a beer bottle top. I took a photo as proof of the find before replacing the cache where I found it.
Glad to have finally found this one.

Glad to have finally found this one.
Found the container laying nearby, empty except for a bottle top. Had to do a bit of reverse engineering, first find the cache then work out where it goes. Have replaced it where I think it belongs based on clue and past logs. Will let the CO know. Thanks for the cache, number 499. Where now for number 500?
Over the last 4 years, I have become used to making regular long weekend trips up to Auckland to see my other half. But over the last 8 months or so they have the added bonus of allowing me to indulge my new found passion for Geocaching on the drive to the airport to catch my flight. I find myself taking slightly different routes, just to be able to drive by caches I haven't stopped at before!
I had time on my side when I stopped near GZ. There was nobody about which made for perfect hunting conditions, but after spending about 15 minutes searching around, then reading previous log entries, then searching again, I came away empty handed. There is a possibility that it is in the most obvious hole, although previous logs seem to indicate it wouldn't be there, and I was not wearing the sort of clothes to be able to make that kind of search. So I'll keep an eye on this one and hopefully get another chance to try again.
Having just had my first placement muggled a couple of days ago, I am very much in appreciation of all CO's who place and maintain caches for the rest of us to find. Thanks for all your efforts.

#858 Was in the area to buy DangerSAM an xmas present from the nearby Hunting and Fishing. Needed a cache to fill in a dot day and this was it. Was concerned with the hint as I thought i might have had the wrong type of footwear but today was a dry day and no chance of falling in. Was a quick search at GZ, although i didnt really want to put my hand in there, and especially not as deep as i had to. So i left it a little closer to the entrance of its hidey hole for the next cacher. The cache is wet inside, the container and the plastic bag are not waterproof. Cheers.
#49 Found this one with mum on a lovely summers day. I played in the grass near by while she fossicked amongst the nearby foliage.
We decided to knock off a few local caches while it was not raining today but could not locate this one. Did not want to slip in - is was very slippery. We will have to try again in the summer. Maybe a better hint would help.
Have replaced cache into its original location. Will update coordinates, description & hint tonight.
This was found in the evening with our head torches. A lot harder in the dark I think! It took quite a while of searching until Mr Jamogen eventually made the discovery. We are glad to get it ticked off though! Thanks for hiding!
After hubby wacked his head on a tree branch and we cleaned him up my gsp took me to exact area and then hubby rooted around and found it. Great hide. Many thanks.
Cache # 3,090 - took a while to track this down, but eventually I got to the root of the problem. Had to watch closely for muggles, although most seemed more concerned with walking their children across the big field to the sporting ground. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Last one while I am passing, although this cache did take me far longer than it should have. GPSr was a bit gittery and was wanderind a little but over time kept taking me back to one area so rooted around there and the cache was found. Did the paperwork then left as found.
Took me far longer than perhaps it should have - maybe I should have believed the GPSr in the first place. Thanks for the placement muddycachers.

Woot! 2nd find! Almost gave up... but persisted to find it! TOTALLY HOOKED!
Played football & touch at this park. Back then I wouldn't have thought I be playing geocache today ha ha. TFTC.
Flew into Palmerston North and driving to Levin for the day.
As this was right on my way past thought it would be rude not to attempt this.
Just as I pulled up my boss rang so had to finish that call before I attempted this...... darn boss dosnt he know there are more important things rather than work.

Good quick find, after a root around while Grandad pushed grandie on swing. Not clear plastic anymore.
Took longer than it should have as the clear plastic container has changed to a black camoed mint tin, found it in the end signed the log thanks for the cache
Took Miss 3yo to the playground while waiting for Daddy to spot mark the fields for an upcoming touch comp. It was so windy here the wind blew the pram into my leg leaving a nice nasty swollen bruise. Still, I was able to hobble to GZ & make a quick find. TFTC
there was a lot of rummaging for this one by the 3 who were lookig for it, and of course Mr+1 had to win and he did

Went to find this one while waiting for a friends plane to land. May need to change description? Not small and clear anymore...
Quick easy find, geo nose was bang on today. I'm positive we have found this a long time ago, but obviously never logged it properly. I remember Mr Swiss made the find and it was in a precarious place.
Found at last after several visits here... was in a place that I thought I'd thoroughly searched previously.
Took coffee
Added Scoobydoo dog tag and a small rattll pet.

A nice hide and a spot to shelter for a bit from the nasty wind. Too cold for many muggles today, so in and out without raising too much suspicion. Tftc
Finally arrived in palmy after grabbing caches along from wanganui.
First palmy grab for jesserfly and myself.
Nice and simple find, Co ords, log and cache good condition.
Cheers

2nd go at this and same result. I had an idea where it might have been but was too wimpy to search there.
Found it today - took a bit of scratching around.. wouldn't want to do it after heavy rain! But all is well.. signed cache - left a wee swap, and placed Logbook in a ziplock as was a wee bit damp. TFTC #52
Yes I am logging this again as I went there today with MJMNZ. And it is in a completely different position, a completely new hide to when I originally found it, so it took quite a few minutes to locate the new place where this is hidden. thanks
Out caching in PN while hubby had an appointment in town. had a tour guide. This took a bit of scrambling around. but got there in the end. A well hidden little cache. Thankyou Haydnseek .Its so much quicker with someone who knows there way around. TFTC
Don't think it is there anymore, looked in many places that followed the hints but to no avail.
