cache find #2220. Out and about and locating some saved up archived caches. We found this one after a little searching. TFTAC.
Quick and easy cache. A little bit anty though. Perhaps the last find before it's retired. TFTC
Thanks for everyone who has found this cache. I'll leave the container for a week or so until I return from holidays later in January. Anyone who finds it during this period can still log it as a find.
Once I realized I was at the wrong tree it was a quick find not what I was expecting though
This was a smelly experience but it was fun walking in the sun! Was looking height sight but it was somewhere else! Love it xo
Found it!
Well Camouflaged. The cache is well mapped but look at the stump!!

The first find for us, nice and close to home. Great spot to meet some of the local hounds and birds!
Easy find!

A quick find then the kids insisted on going inside the dog park for a play. They looked really funny climbing up and over the dog equipment and running in and out of the poles. Thanks for the cache! Left pencil as there wasn't one.
What better way to make use of an Ekka public holiday, coupled with this glorious weather than to get out in the fresh air and geocache! Took my newbie GC pal and 4 kids along for an afternoon stroll.
Arrived in the general area to find a couple of muggles sitting under the picnic shelter, but otherwise seemingly oblivious to us wandering around. GZ was fairly easy to determine and I sent Mr9-geokid 'into the bushes' and he found it straight away.
Nice little camo case, not where generally expected which makes a nice change. SL, TFTC.

Was driving for this one, so pulled up near GZ and had a look at the likely suspects. There was a muggle and a dog near where I thought it might be, along with the verandah in the description, but they looked like they were heading off so hung out for a minute. Parked a bit further along, and started heading to where I thought it might be… hang on, the compass is swinging in the wrong direct. Hm…. head off again…. compass not pointing at trees, just the dog park…. bit of a better look and identified a likely spot. With a very Australian soundtrack (the cacophony of perhaps 30 white cockatoos on a nearby verandah - was that your place ice-cream boy?), I ducked into the trees, located the cache and signed the log.
Wondered how I was going to be non conspicuous without a puggle but didn't need one after all
Didn't bring my dog when going to find it, twisted my ankle on the way. Cute, TFTC! Didnt have a pen/pencil, left a ring :3
Great hide, also loved looking at the amazing old houses around here. Lots of muggles in the dog park today
TFTC a friendly muggle in the park and his even friendlier dog. Got myself sniffed for freshness. I passed fortunately.
Found today when we took Amber for a walk. Thanks for leading us to this lovely dog-friendly location.

I found my self walking m invisible dog today but found my self on the wrong side of the fence, soon ditching my dog and spotting the cache log signed and placed back just as my fog spooked the local birds a large flock of cockatoos screaming and squiring off. Nice hide tftc and invisible k9
TFTC. #160. A nice hide here. A number of houses that have raised off the ground here and very flat, looks like it floods. Good see council making use of the land with parks and off leash areas like this one.
Thanks for the cache, nice little hide. No pen inside but luckily I actually brought one that worked.
On a trip out to the 'burbs to visit my parents (who still live in the house I grew up in, nearby) and to locate a new cache, thegreengeckos and I made this find easily.
Since where I was staying was less than 50m or so to this one it was a must. A very quick walk and a fairly quick find. I haven't gone to the dogs yet! TFTC!
I needed an easy find this afternoon before it got dark. Dropped in and found this one with my daughter on our way home. Cool cache!
This was my 250th cache! Found in the rain so there were no dogs around today. Thanks.
My 2nd ICB cache for tonight. A tidy little hide in good cammo. Of course I went the wrong Sid and had to jump the fence. Being nit time I didn't see the nearby gate that would have made this easier. Coords are good, and the cache is in good nick. Thanks for the hide.
Was in the area so stopped by to look for this one. It has been getting close to being my nearest unfound cache. It was late in the evening so muggles were not an issue (unlike some squelchy mud). Followed my phone through the off-leach area, jumped the fence and looked in the indicated tree.
Quickly found the cache and signed up. I should have brought a fluro tube along to see if i could get it to glow in the power line magnetic field.

In the area for a couple of days so had to look for a couple of caches.
Called in with muggle workmate to see if we could find this one after leaving the worksite on the way to the motel, it was dark by the time got to this one so after walking to gz realized I was on the wrong side then the phone light came out for the search and after a minute of searching the cache was located.
Had to use the phone for a light to sign the cache and put it back.
Thanks icecream boy

Nearly gave up on this one, went back to my car, then thought maybe its the other one, went and looked and there it was, got back to the car just in the nick of time as some doggles and their owners turned up. tftc.
Anzac Day - Thought we'd head off early with our Geohound to the park while everyone was at the parade. Not to be. There was a professional dog minder in the park with about 10 dogs. And the muggles in the nearby house were enjoying their morning cuppa on the verandah. However, while our Geohound was romping with all the dogs in the park we spotted the cache. We decided to leave and came back later when all was quiet. Was now just a quick grab and the log was signed.

On the way to do my 500th cache I needed 1 more to be on 499 and this way it. Nice hide, no Muggles around so I could get close with ease. TFTC.
Too many muggles in the off-leash area and in the adjacent houses. Everyone seems to be sitting on their verandas.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
Once I was on the right side of the fence I quickly located the little sucker while keeping a close eye on the houses nearby. Thanks icecream boy
Found quickly compared to the two DNFs I have to log today. Got caught in the rain walking home, and horrible itch from something at a previous cache site. TFTC!
It was after 3pm but I had the trusty geodog with me today so I didnt look so suspicious. Unfortunately, I noted the cache was a little further from where we were. Out of the compound I went, with the guy at a neighbouring house, coming outside to check the washing, and walk back into the house. Good ole geodog, kept sniffing and I kept watching him and talking and saying "whats that". Log signed and a quick retreat through the muddy grass. TFTC
Well, this one gave me a workout as I went into the dog park and realised I needed to seek the cache elsewhere...
Once within reach it was a nice easy grab . Good job on the camo.
TFTC icecream boy!
ps: I had Baskin Robbins today... mmm,

arrived early in the morning, searched for about half an hour and finally found it in the tree.
In the area today for a family Christmas event. Had a nearby puzzle solved but were thwarted by wildlife and limited time to want to deal with them. So onto a traditional to at least find one. These off leash areas are new to us. Where we live they simply mean a normal park where the dogs are allowed to run free. Very interesting. TFTC.
Pulled in here this morning and was pleasantly surprised to not see anyone in sight. After staring at the tree we finally found it. TFTC
The GPS liked a certain spot, but in my stuborness, decided to search another spot.... after no luck there, came back and oh look, there it is!!

I tried to find this 2 days ago in the pitch dark without a torch. Much easier in daylight though it is well camoed. There were two choices for this cache and good coords meant I struck it lucky first time
Thanks icecream boy

Found this one a couple of weeks ago, then one of our group a couple of nights ago. Good quick one, but lots of muggle interest from the balconies nearby.

There's been a council clean up of the trees this cache was hidden in. The workers did discover the cache, but were nice enough to sign it, leave a bit of swag and place it back. There is however no cover for it, so I'll temporarily disable the cache until I find another suitable place for it.
Muggled once again, by council workers this time I suspect. Replaced with new container and log at the same coordinates.
Great cache, very creative. Watch out for dog poo!!! I stepped on a big fresh one.
