After helping some friendly golfers searching for their lost balls amongst the trees I was able to continue my walk along the side of the golf course until I stumbled onto this cache. On the way back to my car I picked up some cans and bottles which had been discarded by previous walkers and will earn me some money.
Today, Tiz13 and I embarked on our weekly caching expedition, ready to transform caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks Ikkibrady for the cache.
Out with the Rebel Acts (Yoda) for a day of caching in the Peninsula, this was one of the caches we stopped to grab. We walked across the golf course and almost missed the trail in.. then Rebel Acts walked right past the cache, but short arse me was able to spy the cache upon approach.
15:19A short drive for a cache or two after lunch...I parked close by and skirted the fairway for a fairly quick grab, which was just as well, as I needed to get back to our accommodation in the midst of another golf course so I can deliver my elder child to a train station. Thanks, Ikkibrady.#7909

Perfect day for a cache . Sorted out the best place to park in advance. Once there good little walk and then kept to the edge of the fairway. Found a narrow track in towards GZ. So far so good..
Did some scanning and this matched the hiding spot. No luck. Widen the search area slightly and yes.
Cache in good order. Log signed and back safe again.
On the way back it was then I was fronted with a magnificent view with the sun on the blue water.
Thanks great spot.

Hmm I made hard work of this one
Somehow I missed the path and ended up doing a bush bash for 80 metres or so
Actually I didn't mind too much, having scored a handful of golf balls along the journey!
GZ and the cache was soon in hand
In excellent condition, log stamped and returned as found before heading off to investigate the dam and surrounds
The return was via the course and associated pathways. Only the odd golfer out today
Many thanx to Ikkibrady for the cache and ongoing maintenance

Lovely crisp morning for a walk. Found the cache however it’s much smaller than a shoebox size, also the hint is not very accurate.

Even though I gave up caching 6-7 yrs ago, I've been house-sitting for my son (in Rosebud) while he's holidaying in Europe for 6 weeks and thought I'd do a few to help pass the time. I've been doing the local ones, so got a surprise last night when I checked and spotted this (seemingly new) one only 1.2km from (temp) home - how did I miss that? A check of the logs answered that, so I resolved to tick it off this morning. It was going to be a hot one and I needed long pants and boots, so I headed off somewhat earlier than usual for me. Even so, it was very warm and muggy and made the (really rather gentle) walk to gz a bit hot and sweaty. Once there, the cache was a quick find thanks to excellent coords and, after checking out the pretty full dam, I was able to enjoy the views on the way back to the car.

Cache replaced in original location. Could not find old container which seems to have moved based on last log.
Hope to get out to check this out in the next week when I get a break from work and scout camps
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there Ikkibrady,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

After a lovely 4 days away for our anniversary, we packed up and started heading home. we had thought today was not going to be caching friendly weather wise so any caches we got today would be a bonus. No rain walking to GZ but it was very very windy and I got a funny photo! Not sure if we took the right track to GZ as we ended up on the side Golf Course for about 100m! Once at GZ we looked around a bit with the GPS being understandably jumpy in the tree cover. we looked at the hint and narrowed our search to those types of places but to no avail. Whilst looking JMelb's phone rang so she moved away a bit to take the call and then suddenly saw the cache! It was definitely not hidden as per the hint and the inside was completely empty. We placed a piece of paper in for future finders and replaced it where we found it but feel it needs a bit of maintenance and cache page update.

I came here from the golf course today, did a bit of an extra lap until I found the bush track, leading me to GZ. Cool little outing, thanks Ikkybrady for bringing me here. I was searching for a while cause I was expecting to find something bigger. It wasn't until I read previous logs that I found it and saw what they were talking about. I didnt have any spare logbook with me so it does still need replacing and maybe updating the size on the cache page. Cheers
Finally got around to getting this one today. Was worried there would be golfers around and to my luck there weren’t which made getting to the cache easy. Really like the design of this hide and the area was amazing to explore. TFTC
Out and about with geoson pimpmyballoons exploring this lovely area of Mornington. Nice easy walk to this one. Surprise that there are no golfers here today. A very quick find on this small container. Made it more secure by placing log book in bison. Thanks for the cache Ikkibrady
Beautiful day out with Mum aka Xambo4u
Surprisingly quick find as mum was right onto this one. Had some travel bugs to leave but there was no space as this is very small to be classified as a regular. Log sheet was exposed to the elements so we have added a bison to protect the logbook

On our way down this end of the Peninsula and we found ourselves heading to this cache.
A few golfers about this morning, but not quite as many as predicted - surprising for the wonderful course and accompanying views.
Found the right track to the cache and meandered past to dam right up to gz.
Using the hint, I was able to spot a likely hiding location nice and easily and found the cache tucked away underneath.
Signed the log and returned as found - all is dry for now, but probably isn't quite at the regular size that the cache page says.
Admired the views on the way back and said hi to a few people out on the course.
Thanks to ikkibrady for the cache!

I had to check on one of my caches nearby, so headed to three nearby caches for some smileys. Last cache for the day. At one stage, I thought I'd taken the wrong split in the track, but it turned out not so. Cache was found easily, although the current cache can only be described as a micro now. Lovely views along the way.
Many thanks to Ikkibrady for the cache.

New track close to home!! We worried we were not on the right track when we wound up on the golf course but continued on and found the cache!! Great spot super quiet! Tftf
We were on our way home from a long day out when I clicked on this cache and thought we have time for just one more. A nice walk and we were on the edge of the golf course, then heard a crack but couldn’t see anybody. We then saw a golf ball which wasn’t too close to us, but we did step up our pace. A good track led us straight to GZ where I checked a logical spot, claiming that it wasn’t there. Steve asked if I was sure, and yes I was until he bought the cache out with a smug look on his face. I did mention it was a long day:)
Thanks Ikkibrady for the cache and hide with the added bonus of a bit of unloved.

A belated log, which actually suits the circumstances surrounding my inability to get this cache finally logged. I think I have been to this particular area about a dozen times, maybe more over the last few years. Some of those times, I didn't even get to GZ. But until I put pen to a log book, I will not log a cache. Those write in the rain sheets just do not like my pens! It's such a magnificent view stepping onto that fairway even though I'm not overly keen on elevation. Ha!
There is more to this story, but I shall keep it for myself. Thanks for keeping this cache going Ikkibrady!

This really is a great spot for a cache, but after a decent search, I could not spot it. Not sure this cache wants me to find it. Thanks for the little adventure.
decided to come out and grab this one, took a while but eventually found it. TFTC!
Sunday morning stroll. Played golf here for many years but never seen this dam. Beautiful spot. TFTC
Came back to this one today, much easier to get to this time round with the cleared track. Found it without too much difficulty, I was looking in the wrong spot last time round LOL Many thanks for the placing and replacing and for the views
I love this geocache I always popped in to visit it I'm just wondering how long ago it was replaced and if I can place a travel bug?
A new walking track has been built on too of the cache basically. Makes it more accessible but needs extra care when rehiding
Now this cache was another cache that needed a bit of love. Having a nice little walk toward the golf course we notice that a couple of golfers were in the way of where we needed to go...... therefore we waited, checking facebook and a quick discussion on other caches, then after a little bit of time we continued on. Soon enough we got to GZ to learn that the cache had in fact disappeared. So the replacement put in place.... then we heard someone say 'i think it was around here' to which we though huh I wonder if they were geocachers........ turns out they were not. Anyways it was a nice walk around the area.

Found it, first to add our names to the new log, great to explore a new area so close to home.
Lots of clearing and pruning has gone on in area. Spent 15 to 20 mins searching, and found a few interesting items, but not the cache. Might be worth the C/O swinging by to check it out.
Been a while since I found an Ikkibrady cache but looks like it might remain that way. Thought I'd find this easily enough since it was replaced and found not too long ago, but couldn't turn anything up. Will put a watch on it and hopefully it hasn't gone walkabout.
Cleaning up a few caches close to home, surprised there where no golfers around as I made my way to GZ. Didn't take long and first to put his name in the newly replaced cache and log.
Cache indeed missing and replaced. Please ensure it is hidden when you put it back. This cache has disappeared a couple of times now. This is its last chance.
This one is tricky, dodging golfers and their balls then through the scrub! I was at the right fallen tree according to the GPS but nothing there?
Not sure if I approached this from the best side. Got to GZ nonetheless. Saw an empty container with lid missing. Not sure it's one I think a cacher would use, but disappointing to not get a find here even though it hasn't been found for 6 months.
found it. Not sure if we attacked this one from the best side, but after a bit of a bush bash and trying to avoid muggle golfers on a Saturday afternoon we got it. Tftc
Many thanks to Ikkibrady for the offer to record this one, but we really wanted to be able to sign the log so we set out again today and the cache was soon recovered and we signed the new log. Interesting to note that others have signed it before us but hadn't noted it on the website; it appeared to be a scouting group. All was in order. As we returned to the geomobile we observed a couple of eastern red rosellas who were not being intimidated by an aggressive magpie. So quite a few birdies on the golf course today. TFTC Ikkibrady.
Cache has been replaced. Thanks for letting me know about it. Dam has significantly lowered since I was last here. All good to go
This one isn't looking good. As we zeroed in on GZ we saw the location as described in the hint and at that zero point we discovered a green container in the hollow, but regretfully the lid was off and it was empty. Perhaps this explains why it hasn't been found in quite a while. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Out on a bit of a hike jog type thing, had a couple of hours to myself. Managed to find 9 caches in total and lost some calories! tftc
Find #1336. Found @ 16:00.
The family and I were in the area visiting for Australia Day, and I was allowed to go for a walk while everyone else went to the beach. I decided to hike for a few kilometres to grab some caches from the Arthurs Seat State Park area.
This was the first of three, and the furthest away (as the crow flys) from base camp. I skirted the golf course and found the dam, shortly afterwards I found the nice sized container.
Even on a warm day like today, there are still the golfing diehards whacking their balls all over. Interestingly, the cache contains some of their eggs. Other than the golfers and a few people doing things in their gardens, I didn't see anyone else around.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Ikkibrady.

Found @ 12:17pm, find # 2794.
I didn't find any path off of the golf course so I ended up walking along the edge until I got close to GZ, I then found my way through the bush, discovered the dam and then found the cache.
Thanks to Ikkibrady for placing this this cache

I just found it, I was looking for it for ages but it was staring me right in the face.
Tough to get to this one as it was so overgrown but when we found it was right in the open.
Another caching run had me team up with Square_pegs and head towards the Mornington Peninsula to find a few caches, some new and ones that have been on our 'to find' list for too long. This is our first caching run for 2013 and I'm exhausted which is just how it should be after a full on day. This was probably the easiest cache of the day to find as it was completely exposed in the open with the lid off and the logbook back open...it would appear this has been discovered although I'm not sure how as its quite a mission to get to. We've re-packed it and hidden it as per the hint. The CO may want to check on this sometime. Thanks Ikkibrady.
This was an easy find today as it was out in the open with the lid off and the logbook on the ground nearby. We dried the container out and put it back with a little cover. We also managed to find two golf balls on our journey too! Thanks to Ikkibrady for the cache.
Bashing through the scrub late on christmas eve. very happy to finally reach 100. tftc ikkibrady

Well, another Saturday, another big caching run with my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave. Since the Mayans were wrong and the world did not end yesterday, we were both more then happy to be out caching today. The weather was going to be beautiful, so a great day to head down the peninsula, headed towards the McRae and Arthurs Seat Area.
We were not quite sure where to park for this one, but we took a guess and got it spot on. We headed into the State Park and eventually ended up on the golf course and in the path of a nice big tiger snake. It slithered away and we continued on our way, finally making it to GZ where the well hidden cache was found.
Thanks again go to Ikkibrady for the cache. TNLN.

Having survived the zombie apocalypse which turn out to be a no show. It was time once more for some caching and with the ideal weather conditions, it was time to hit the Arthur's Seat cluster and surrounding region, which I have not cache thru until now. Was on the trail with Ahomburg once more and together we achieved another great tally of 21 finds, not bad for the terrain tackled & covered today. The hike to some of the caches took quite some effort and it was very satisfying once cache was in hand.
Started this one thinking that it would be a nice simple one, well it turn into more then that. Finding our way out onto the golf course was greated with some sunning views but then as we headed towards GZ there was a large tiger snake wiggling its way across the golf course to some near by tree cover. This is the first snake I have seen this season so far. Actually now surprised that I have not seen more sooner. Realising that there were snakes in the area the approach now became slower and there was quite alot of ducking and weaving and crawling thru to GZ. Very pleasing to have the cache in hand. Getting back was alot quicker but at one point we weren't sure which way to go, a reminder to turn on the tracking function on the GPSr for next time. TFTC Ikkibrady

Wow.. If I could have made this harder for myself I'd probably have to have left my GPS in the car and blindfolded myself.. an adventure and a half.. THanks IkkiBrady for the cache.. I think I got back to the car 80% quicker than what it took to get there.. I made use of the cover of darkness to cross the golfcourse fairway and then proceded to pass 4 other parking spots that could have saved me a tun of scratches and prickles.. # 1322. Caching today in the company of Robmc, Pprass, Phetlern and Maccamob. Having had one steep climb already here was the second one. I am not a walker so was not impressed. I do love freesias however, and they were happily flowering next to our climb. Once nearer the hide we took different bush-bashing tracks in towards GZ. It sure is overgrown whichever way you approach it. Found easily enough as I could see it on approach. Condensation is getting into the cache but the log was OK to sign. TFTC

I think there must have been a better approach to this cache and a better exit as well - we however probably took the worst possible in both instances
Wattle was all over my top for a while as we brushed through the bush and passed an old water tank.
Thanks Ikkibrady

The wild flowers are starting to bloom at the moment, and we saw quite a few on our walk up to the fairway. Scooting around the edge of the course, we made our way towards GZ. The last 50 or so meters were along a somewhat overgrown track, but that took us to within 5 meters of GZ, and a quick find. The cache had a bit of water inside, but the log was still dry.
We tried a different way back, but not necessarly better.
Thanks, Robmc.

We joined with BettyBoo3747, Maccamob, Pprass and Robmc for a day of caching on the eastern side of the bay. We are not sure what the penalty would be to get the ball back onto the green from here, but you probably wouldn't be champion of the day.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Ikkibrady.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Robmc, BettyBoo3747, pprass and phetlern, at 1040. Parked in a nearby street and followed a track to the golf course. Wary of flying objects, we made our way along the edge of the course until we found an old overgrown track that seemed to head to GZ. A little bush-bashing for the last few metres took us to a quick find. Returned to the course a different way, but it wasn't any easier. Our thanks to Ikkibrady.
Think Natasha and I took the hard way to GZ as the track is very over grown but well worth the effort when we made the find SL TFTC
Pea bear & I totally approached from the wrong direction. Got to see the very full dam before finding the cache. Also saw a beautiful butterfly on the way out. TFTC
Another legendary night run with the The Demolition Crew (TDC) being myself, TrailRunning and Quasar3671. Again
with us tonight for the run was Roostaman from Wagga, to enjoy another champion run. The nights agenda was to
focus on "Night Caches" which may sound strange for our group, considering we do 99% of our caching at night,
but so few of them are actual night caches. Numbers were needed for myself and Roostaman for the "Night Caching Masters Challenge" cache. The target areas were Frankston night caches and the Point Nepean night caches, both areas by push bike. Lots of fun at night, with a torch gaffa taped to the handlebars of a bike... Cool.
The highlight of the night for me, well there were two, me getting my 4000th GC find at Above The Commanding Officer - Carbine, and the celebrated find, in driving rain, at Puzzlemania 7 - Maths Test. Weather was not the best on the night, but we still managed over 60 finds for the entire day, including the run to Melbourne. Another great night, can't wait until the next.... Stay tuned all you caching folks out there.....

Indeed i did find another golf ball here. I have a huge collection of them now, and you wouldn't believe the spots I have found them. Admittedly it was a golf course this time... lol. Anyway, nice walk to GZ and a good spot for a cache. TFTC.

Found on another great nite trek with The Demolition Crew. The weather was clearing for a while so it looked like a dry night but it changed and the rain turned on and off for hours. We had a fun bike ride to log a few good caches and abandoned the 2nd leg of the bike tour of the Peninsula due to the weather, but found more caches driving around instead. Overall, an excellent night to remember.
Another not so quick find with a pleasant stroll along the edge in the dark. TNLNSL TFTC,
Roostaman.

It was another legendary night caching run with my fellow TDC (The Demolition Crew) team members Quasar3671 and Blacklegend. In tow, once again, was our good caching buddy Roostaman from Wagga. While Q and I already have more than the required numbers for the Australian Night Caching Masters Challenge, our country kin needed to grab a few more to get them to the required numbers. The really weird thing is that TDC almost always cache at night, but 99.9% of those caches don’t count for the challenge! So here we were lined up to do Frankston Area night caches and the Point Nepean night caches by bike. The Frankston area night caches (5 in total) and quite a number of traditional caches were cleaned up in less than a few hours. It was then a matter of collecting a few of the harder puzzle caches on the way to Point Nepean. We were having so much fun on the Peninsula that we eventually decided to abandon the Point Nepean night caches leg of the journey and continue to score some big numbers in the Dromana – Portsea area. In total it amounted to a night of 53 caches being collected.
The absolute highlight of the night was watching Blacklegend pull himself up to reach “Above the Commanding Officer – Carbine” for his 4,000 GC.com cache find. Blacklegend you are an absolute LEGEND!
After the obligatory photo of the cache in hand, we hit the tarmac, dirt tracks, streams and cow paddocks to continue the run. While the weather was not the best, it’s something we have come to expect, and all being well prepared, we had a great night. Added to the morning cache total of about 13 caches I think my personal total for the run was well over 60 caches for the day. You little ripper!
Cache log - Now here was an interesting part of the area. With water falling and flowing along the nearby "track" Quasar3671 was the eventually finder of this one. Blacklegend picked up another golf ball. In the team he's known as the "golf ball magnet", among other things! (that's a reference to his ability to fine tune his caching radar to find caches no others can find)

I met up tonight with the other two members of TDC (The Demolition Crew) Blacklegend and Trailrunning, as well as our good mate Roostaman who was down from Wagga, for another fun and adventure filled mega night of caching. The idea for the night was to find a few more night caches for the Night Masters Challenge, mainly for Blacklegend and Roostaman as T and I had already enough night caches finds to fulfill the requirements.
We started east of the city and worked our way down to the Frankston area where the guys found many a cache I had already found, before we moved on down to Point Nepean. Our plans changed once we got there as the weather had taken a turn for the worse and the long hikes and bike rides ahead now didn't seem too appealing. With a new plan afoot we worked our way back up the Peninsula, collecting many caches along the way, before going our seperate ways in the wee hours of the morning.
We parked at the nearest entry point and made out way to the fairway before heading up to GZ. Great night time views of the area below from here too. We had to bush bash the last 100 or so metres as the 'track' was very overgrown. Once at GZ the cache was quickly located. Thanks Ikkibrady.

Down this way again, so chose a family friendly cache for my daily find. Parked nearby, and took the girls on their bikes. Managed to keep them off the green, and left the bikes hidden in the scrub while we made the final push for GZ. Spotted the cache easily, but took several unsubtle gestures before the girls looked in the right place! TFTC
A lovely walk, almost accompanied by a dog, but managed to send it back home. Great views from the fairway, better than our local. Found the cache easily and then went to have a look at the dam. Hard to think of it with no trees around as a previous logger said. TFTC. T: TB LN.
Would the next person here please check and see if my TB is still there. If so, please take it and move it on - thanks.
There were no golfers as I walked up the side of the green - probably all watching the President's Cup! Loved the views as I walked back down after a bit of a bush-bash into an easy find as I happened to approach from the best angle, thanks Ikkibrady.
