Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Checked on this and the cache house is there but the cache is no longer in play.
I will replace it very soon.

It wouldn't hurt to have maintenance look at this, to make sure it IS still there.
Must have spent an hour there looking in and under, and up!

Glad I don't play golf as I wouldn't be able to find my golf balls either.
Will have to try again another day.

Having previously found the mark I version, albeit with some difficulty, it was with some relief that this one didn't take too long to retrieve.
And this time I didn't have greenkeepers breathing down my neck!

Our golf game has improved since November and we found the lost ball The bonus was meeting The Monks who are aiming for their 600th cache and we had just found 600th [D]. SL, TFTC, PD186.
A little word from the Geowife soon had this cache in hand and us on our way again.
Pulled up for a quick find and turned around to see some fellow cachers parked next us. We got talking and it turned out they had just found their 600th cache. Amazingly, We are chasing our 600th today also. 5 to go after this one. Always nice to meet other cachers.
Great hide loved it,tftc

Having read previous logs, we were a bit anxious on approach, however the eagle eye of Cat soon had us holing the cache and back on the buggy. Another 2TF. Nicely placed cache that gets a tick from us.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt PD186.

Found at 4:53 PM GAFF1 in the company of Phetlern. We thought we were going to be in for hiding with this one due to the amount of pine needles all around GZ, but c-pprass uncovered it nearly straight away. Happens sometimes.
Thanks PD186
Thanks PD186
Found it!! After a toot and a wave last night with a follow up email from PD (with a hint, thanks) today was a walk up find. Not sure how I missed it really other than it being a little dark when searching previously. The GPS did have me centered a couple of metres away but I had been over the hide area in my searching.
I did have a go at the FTF for the orginal cache but missed it so it is good to get it this time around.
I wonder what the Greenkeeper will make of my gardening???
TFTC.

Over three evenings this week on the way home from work I have looked for this one. I reckon I have turned a million needles over but no cache to be seen. The GPS has me back to the same spot each time so it is either another million needles to go or I am not looking in the correct spot.
I have replaced this cache and also moved it and made it bigger and renamed it to reflect these changes so the only that remains the same is the number.
So treat this as a new cache and see who can find it first.
PS Don't worry this is a easy find !!!!!!!!! but I hope it will make you smile when you get it.

New Cache with the old number. Old finders this cache is new it is bigger (better faster stronger but didn't cost $6 000 000 ) in a different location and has been renamed so go and get it while it lasts.
It appears that the green keeper has found this when he was trimming his hedge and garden.
I am not sure if I will replace it or make a new larger cache around the corner where the green keeper won't find it.

After dropping a colleague off at Newcastle Airport I was sure that this would have been an easy find on my way to Port Macquarie, however no luck.
On the way back to relatives after a day out, impatient father waiting in car cut the search short and we had to give up!
Nice cache watched some people playing golf while waiting for a break in the traffic. The log was a bit damp but managed to sign ok.
Found on way into Corlette to have lunch with friends.Nice hide and most appropriate for the area. TFTC.
Looking for another almost drive by in the rain this was the next stop. We parked and made our way over to GZ. A quick look and we had a good laugh and the cache container. We completed the signign duties and replaced. FOUR. TFTC. Fav Pt awarded
Reperio at 0745.
This was one area I hadn't been through before, so after grabbing a few caches at Nelson's Bay, I had time to make the short detour here before heading back to Newcastle. Pulled up on the opposite side of the road, and could see the cache as soon as I got out. Watched a few muggle golfers tee off while I signed the log. A very nice course by the looks of it.
Gratias PD186.

Finally getting around to logging our Anzac Day finds. This one was a quick and easy find. Nice container. TFTC
I had found a similar nano recently so spotted it straight away. Looks like a nice location. SL TFTC
Not many hiding places at GZ but MrsFish spotted it. This was a nice idea, a bit better than others around here. Thanks for a good hide, we enjoyed it.
Found this cache with geoson. This cache was certainly out of bounds, haven't seen one like this before. TFTCM

Only DNF out of 12 caches today. Read all the previous logs and thought we shouldn't have too much trouble but it still eluded. Will came back.
Found while out on a caching run during a day off. Second time lucky. Nice hide. Thanks PD

After a bit of a search with Browngang we found the cache but in the excitement I managed to leave my etrex on the post at gz. Didn't miss the thing until fellow cachers growingupisoptional left a message to say that they had found something that probably belonged to us. Many Many thanks Barb and Justin for going to so much trouble to track me down so my etrex can come home. Many thanks to PD186 for the cache.
Found a free GPS on the wall here A nice little yellow etrex still running quiet happily.
Managed to find the cache as well.
After some detective work we managed to deduce the owner of the missing GPS.
4 hrs later the owner of the GPS contacted us but hadn't realised they'd lost it.
LOL
We'll get it back to them.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Yellow etrex is having holiday with us at the moment.

Blackie_71 and I found this cache at about 8:30am and from then on he was using the smart phone. Pity he wasn't taking after it, as at about 3 or 4 o'clock that arvo I checked my phone and there was a message asking me had I lost something recently. Nooo, don't think so, was my reply, you sure?. Nuhh. What where you caching earlier today with? Nahhh, don't get this conversation I'm having here. Little yellow Garmin? Oh ohhhhhh, Blackie's second GPS he has left behind in recent months. Thanks growingupisoptional for your honesty and background research to track us down.
BTW- Finally turned a DNF into a smiley with good co-ords.
Cheers Browngang

Nice hide, needed a little help. (Handy when the cache owner drives past while your there scratching your head!)
Checked on this one as the greenkeeper was trimming the headge through the week but it is still safe and sound in its bed.
Had a look while out caching with Mini Cash Man.
Arrived at GZ to find a baby brown snake sunning itself.
The snake moved off but then came back before being chased off.
I thought I knew what I was looking for but I couldn't find it.
Three DNF's could the owner please check.

Great Hide and perfect for the surroundings.
Very well camoflaged. Got one like it the other day as well. I love the idea.
Greenskeeper was out for the first few minutes and then disappeared. Had to search between passing cars.

I had no idea what I was looking for......"a mega nano placed on flat ground". What is that???!!??
Anyway, searched interrupted by muggle golfers, gardeners, and then sprinklers being turned on. Maybe the gardeners got tired om being there???
Anyway, that's my excuse for a DNF!!

Dropped McPhan off at the coords and parked a little way off to be away from the intersection, and walked back. Found him chuntering away to himself about not being able to find it and expecting me to find it for him immediately as usual. Not so this time, so with some belated reinvestment in pride, he found the nice hide. Thanks PD186.
4931. [font=Century Gothic][green]Searched for a while until the find was made. Again in the tradition I've established - hindsight is 20/20. Nicely done hide.

We jumped out of the car thinking muggles shouldn't be a problem on such a miserable day, they weren't but a brown snake was so we got straight back in the car.
searched for about half an hour with no luck. I'm sure i know what i was looking for and from all accounts it should have turned up. thanks anyway.
TFTC had to come back in the arvo because of people playing golf. in the pouring rain btw. cache suits area quite well. great hide.
Wow good one cache, never though that hide very well.. saw only one man play golf... very nice area... thanks
We were out this way with Mrs Chippyroo's parents and decided to call by and grab the cache. We had an idea of what the container would be and sure enough it was! We love a sneaky hide. TFTC
First find for the day. A really neat container! Found even though the greenkeeper wasn't far away. What better way to spend the day! TFTC
We were headed out for a Fathers' Day picnic and decided to look for this cache on the way. We parked close by and conducted our search in between all the passing cars. This took us quite a while, but in the end Marco made the find. Great container. TNLNSL TFTC
Our 5497th overall find.
This one took twenty minutes longer than it should have. I was in a rush to get home and pack up for a camping trip and missed it. Eventually I found it staring at me...
Thanks PD186 for the cache.

This is a busy place we had a go at this one early today but where Muggled away, we came back later in the after noon and things were a little quiter but still a lot of traffic. After a joint search by Unibolt's and Jonignite the cache was in hand and the log signed. Thought about throwing the container after your caddy (kidding) but returned it to it's home and went on our way. TFTC.
Yeah FTF Found on our second visit today Gardener spraying to close this morning
but soon found with Team Unibolt this arvo Thanks for the effort PD186
