As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Had a good look around for cache - seen remains of original cache - no sign of new replacement cache and it has been some time since last find despite being "across the road from c/o" - no owner maintenance has been carried out.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
After returning from the Cape Brett tramp we stopped quickly but found only the green cap. TFTC
As with previous logs, we found the lid but no container. Couldn't find the new replacement either. Love the water slide though! Pity the tide is out and the slide part is missing. Must be lots of fun when in action!
Up in the Bay of Islands for a weekend away with my semi-muggle husband to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. He was very kind and said we could do a bit of caching.... woohoo!!!
We were pretty sure we had found exactly where this cache was.... or used to be.... but unfortunately, like a previous hunter, there was only a cap- no cache, and no log

With some careful sleuthing and GPS reckoning I have replaced the cache container and log book. This is so future seekers will have find instead of a dnf. Thank you for bringing me here.
I think I found where this used to be. No cache just the remains of the cache .
Didn't find this one here today unfortunately. We found a lid attached but no container.
A beautiful place for you to live and a simple little cache that causes no damage to the environment. Thanks for this one. We finally had our GPS aboard and could stop to find it.
Waiting for runners to pass by. Then one said ..."is that a GPS in your hand" So he knew what we were doing. Nice to meet you
Yay! Crazy_like_a_fish found this for me. Yesss. Awesome slide. Amazing. Just been snorkelling out around the point. What a lovely place all round. Thanks!
after arriving back from the Cape Brett Trail we also visited this place.
Thanks for the cache

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
On my way north for a few days camping in the BOI, stopped here to look for this cache on the way. After parking the car I noticed a couple walking up from the beach, that just looked like geocachers, so I called out to them and sure enough they were! What an unusual place to meet fellow geocachers! We chatted for awhile and I passed on a couple of TBs to them take back to the UK, lovely to meet you ludhamwoodwose! Afterwards I walked down and made a quick cache find. TFTC!
Dropping off 2TBs here for ludhamwoodwose.

Found no problem. Met fellow casher Phase Visitor there and collected 2 TBs.
It was supposed to be the first cache for my son (5). We are sure we were at GZ and looked really carefully, but the only thing we found, was a great place to hide a small cache - but it was empty...Maybe the cache is missing? Or we are just blind.....
Found whilst on family holiday with the Girvan clan. Great spot, nice drive. TFTC
Mr Nalawod found this one on his own as he had been along at the Cape Brett Challenge run being held at the nearby marae. (Unfortunately he injured himself before the run started, so consoled himself by finding this cache instead.) You have a beautiful spot here. TFTC
A nice stroll along the road to pick this one up from where I was camping. Will be back at a later date to pick the others up around the area. TFTC
Passing through with the boat we stopped here to make the find. The cache was quickly spotted, a bit tricky to retrieve when looking stealthy. Met the CO's father at the location, so we didn't have to worry about being stealthy!! Interesting and fun slide set up for the kids. TFTC
Heading to the ramp to go out on the water to find a few of the island caches so stopped here for this cache on our way through. The slide was being set up...wow this must be popular, chatted to a couple of people busy getting it ready for the day and one of them turned out to the CO's Dad so that was fun. Found the cache in its clever little hiding spot. Thanks for a cache in such a lovely spot.
On our way to Rawhiti and stopped to see if we could find this - got quite distracted by the amazing water slide being set up ready for an afternoon of fun for the kids - wow that is such a great idea. Met up with CO's Dad who was helping out with set-up and recovering from his daughter's wedding the day before - he told us he'd gone home early but we still know that wedding organisation is massive - what an awesome spot to be married from - congrats to the happy couple
Cache soon in hand and no real need for stealth as we were all so busy chatting and taking pics of the slide - my 9 and 10 year old grandies would so LOVE this!! We had no fish to clean but can see that it is a thoughtful place to have cleaning faciities - TFTC Te Tawa

Came to inspect a completed job back up the road and could'nt resist grabbing this nearby cache! Thanks. Will be back in Feb to complete a few more! CHLYBN
Beautiful spot - thanks for sharing.
Heading away after spending couple of days kayaking around islands.

We usually launch at the other end of the bay- but what an awesome spot you have & the most excellent fishytable! Thanks for sharing it & a bit of the history, & the cache. Had to chase some beads & my notebook down after a blast of today's westerly blew them about, LOL.
