Quick find here. Just the way we like it. Love your work.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We enjoyed the walk around the park finding the caches here this morning, good fun was had.Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Was initially looking for a more robust log but after venturing into the supposed location, quickly found what I was looking for.
During our weeks trip with Bare Foot Guru, Infoferret and Trinity to the Canberra Mega we logged as a combination of "BFG, CF, BIC, BITC" depending on who we were caching with at the time. The trip took us on a flight to Melbourne first, then a drive to Canberra, followed by a drive to Sydney before flying out again. Where possible I will add commentary to each find about the cache. Thanks for all the caches, hides and effort put into hiding and maintaining them. Really enjoyed these letterbox series. We often had to re-read the description as we thought we had gone too far, or not far enough, but they were all accurate at the end of the day and all the caches were found nicely tucked away. FP for the series (the way it's done, rather than the cache itself)
An expedition with Crystal Fairy & Barefootguru. Most logs signed as BIC to save space and time. *** draft log for stats tracking, more later ***GC3327D Rabbitto's Valley Letterbox Series #226 March 2024T13:36:34 AEDTTFTC RabbittoHad a few uncertain moments but got there. Quick find
Solved a couple of these before coming to another geolocation game event here. Stinking hot day but a quick find thanks to my daughters who are very into the Hunger Games! Thanks.
I found #1 in this series nearly 3 years ago when I was chasing the **Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge** and left it at only one because I could only count one cache from any series. True to my word at the time, today I came back to continue this series... only to discover that I needed to start where I finished 3 years ago... now, where was that? While I could vaguely remember, there was nothing for it but to start with #1 again and retrace my steps... Once I had found my way to the end point of #1, I was on a roll... following very clear instructions to this end... and finding the cache exactly as described. Thanks **Rabbitto** for an excellently executed cache... I will be back another day for the next one... this time however, I have made a note of where to start
Another brilliant walk and find. Clear instructions and great pay off. Nearby bench to sign in, have a rest and off to the next!Thank you Rabbitto for the cache.
Definitely followed a trend of walking back to the carpark after finishing the first one.
Love that they all continue after each other.
Great stuff!

Great stuff!
It appears this series is sequential so glad we began with #1! Love the original 3 options given; the Hunger Games questions nearly got the vote this time! Continued on with our path of directions further into the park. An easy find at gz. Logbook was wet and mouldy, needs a replacement. Thanks for this great series Rabbitto
It probably would have been a good idea to read the descriptions of these Letterbox caches before we embarked on this adventure. Having completed #1, we returned to the posted coordinates, only to realise that each cache followed on from the preceding one.
Back on track, we passed the volunteer weeding, who must have been wondering why we kept going up and down this portion of the track until we arrived at GZ. Initial search didn’t look too promising until we explored further afield. Logbook is damp, but still ok to sign.
Thanks Rabbitto. Thoroughly enjoying this series.

I think the continuation of the series got me so concerned on the first look. After reading the cache page in more detail, I realised they would flow on from one another - it's almost like an old-style AdLab.
Speaking about AdLabs, I found switching between the two apps challenging, but it added to the total adventure. At GZ,I struggled for a bit as I couldn't tell my right from my left! I had to wait a bit for the walkers club to pass by. I spotted the cache before I got too far into the shrubbery. Some lovely local has decided to dump some of their garden cuttings here. Thanks for another epic journey!

With early dinner organised at a nearby restaurant I left in the middle of the afternoon to take the opportunity to pick up a few caches in this reserve. We had completed the first one in this series sometime ago. Quite some time ago that I had to go through it again to see where I needed to start. TFTC
My goal for 2023 has been to try and get close to qualifying for [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=54e007c1-391b-4f69-b6f2-af7b91887d92&ds=2) [The Non-Traditional Calendar Challenge (GC7RCQ3)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7RCQ3) and today I found myself needing to find another non-traditional cache.
Well as someone who is a newbie puzzler, I don't find many mystery caches, and usually have to resort to finding multi caches in order to fill in my non-traditional calendar grid. However, with this series having a letterbox option, I figured I would give it a go.
I had originally [found](https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=7c4e5c42-78cd-48b0-8d5f-e4cddef1ad1b) the first cache in the series, [Rabitto's Valley Letterbox Series #1 (GC33260)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC33260_rabbittos-valley-letterbox-series-1) back in Nov. 2022 and put the rest of the series on hold until another day where I needed to find a mystery cache.
Well with needed to find another non-traditional cache today, I finally came back out to collect another one in the series.
I originally was a bit nervous that will all the rain we had been having, that the paths might be all mud, but luckily everything was in order. It turned out to be a beautiful walk through the [Valley Reserve](https://www.monash.vic.gov.au/Things-to-Do/Parks-Recreation/Valley-Conservation-Reserve). The area wasn't too busy, which made for a peaceful walk.
All of the instructions were easily followed which led me basically straight to GZ and with only a quick look the cache was in hand and the logbook signed.
Big thanks to [Rabbitto](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=73c5d89d-31a1-40cd-a46d-39742e099a93&wid=24dedd7b-2942-4d86-b705-c9c37b1a87eb&ds=2) for all the fun today and TFTC.
**Cache Maintenance Status**
The cache container was in good shape and despite the rain, the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Second cache for the day out enjoying the sunshine . The competition between competing teams of kids heated up for this cache and the race was on! Found the location easily and after a bit of searching, the cache revealed itself.
What a gorgeous day to be out with Crustyvarmint and pooch Pilot, and what a lovely spot to be out doing a bit of cacheing. Following the clear instructions we tramped the paths around this lovely reserve quickly finding the answers to all our questions and gathering our hints for the bonus caches. Thanks Rabbitto for this series.
Today was a great day for caching in the reserve, Picking up these letterbox caches had been on my mind for quite some time, So Pilot the canine cache sleuth, Redcb and I spent the day enjoying the fun of navigating our way to GZ. We found the instructions very clear, and had no problem arriving at GZ.
The cache is in good condition.
Thanks for the wonderful experience, Rabbitto. A favourite point coming your way.

Followed on seamlessly from the first one. Must have walked past this one at least one hundred times as we've come and gone from the Valley.
There's a MASSIVE SLUG found its home on the cache. Good for the SLUG. Bad for my partner who was brave enough to poke it away. The cache is pretty wet might need some maintenance.
Following on from #1 I made quick work of the instructions that lead me to GZ. Someone has decided to dump a heap of branch cuttings behind the information bay but I was still able to locate the slightly damp logbook inside the cache container. Thank you Rabbitto for placing and maintaining Rabbitto's Valley Letterbox Series #2 for us to find today.
Find # 1573.

Being such a lovely day today, we were looking for a family outing. We were all a bit tired after a late night last night, but better to be out than to mope around at home.
Like all sensible people, we opted for option 3, which took us on a really enjoyable walk around the reserve, collecting the four Rabbitto's Valley Letterbox Series caches as we went. Starting at the last cache we found, we followed the instructions to this one. There was unfortunately a bit of moisture inside the container, which we dried out. The log was fine though, just a bit damp.
Thanks for a really enjoyable series Rabbitto.

The last time I visited this park was for The Great Victorian Cache Crawl and we were a little short in time to grab the new adventure lab. So I teamed up with OzHockeyChick for some afternoon caching to complete this and a few other caches in this park.
It was a nice afternoon and a great way to explore the park. The cache was found and in good shape.
Thanks Rabbitto for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

While learner offspring was at uni this morning, I set out to explore this lovely reserve.
After navigating to #1, it was on to this one. I do like the sequential nature of this series.
A nice find here with the good instructions. Logbook a little damp but quite signable.

Quick wander around the reserve between the showers. All caches found quick and easily, this was a little moist as the seal is starting to come loose. TFTC and adventure.
That too a little longer to find as the log has somewhat deteriated over time but can confirm it is there. Signed log. We are loving these letterboxes, fun!
Continuing on my journey of discovery within the reserve with TanSaf we carefully followed all the instructions but had great difficulty with the last instruction. We looked around and considered that perhaps we had made a mistake somewhere. Eventually I gently stepped off the path and discovered that the log is doing what logs should do, starting to decompose and return to nature. The cache container was extracted, log signed and container returned.
There was time for us to continue with this series.
Thank you Rabbitto for this cache.

Continuing the very pleasant stroll around the reserve following the directions in my second letterbox cache completed.TFTC
Such a glorious day so off to the next one, instructions well read this time and we soon had the cache in hand. Very soggy log book here. Thanks for the letterboxing fun Rabbitto
This one was more tricky. But i found it with immense courage and determination. I love a good challenge! I wish it was harder. #dubseason
Couple people around walking and exploring the park, instructions were simple to follow but we found it. Enjoying these walks through the park. Thanks for the cache
Wow bit hard to see! Now I can see why the 2 cachers before couldn’t find it.

Out and about today with PrezDough grabbing a few caches. This is a great little challenge and allows us to do some real exercise and follow the guidance provided in the description.
The cache is most certainly there and I can see why the previous 2 cachet’s couldn’t find it as it is tucked away. The log is definitely still there, but it’s getting a bit weathered these days.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.

Looked in a few possible places. It could have been moved in the storm last night. Despite the no find. Still happy with the series.
While looking for a series of geocaches to find on our wanderings within our 15km zone, we stumbled across this tight series. The map looked interesting and made a good launching spot for other caches in the area. After arriving we gathered our bearings by having a quick look around while walking to GZ. WOW what an amazing place. Beautiful bush-land and lovely 'curated' spaces for play and picnics. It was a pleasure walking around the area carefully following the instructions. Sure we will be back here again in the future for a picnic and relaxation time. Enjoyed a different way of searching for GZ. Required more attention to the environment. Initially got our up and down slope bearings confused. Once we had reset, it was an easy find and speedy retrieval. TFTC We have given it a fav point for across all the series.

Out on my bike around the limits of my 15km perimeter.
A beautiful day for it.
I'm not why I've missed this little piece of paradise about 1km within my 15km limit, but I'm recreating here today.
The cache was found on a beautiful morning in accordance with the description.
The hide log is small, missed it at first, and the cache log is a bit damp, but all well apart from that.
**Thanks for the fun Rabbitto**

TFTC! Enjoyed this cache, and letterbox. A little muddy today. Log is a little damp. Beautiful park
This is another great green area that I didn't know existed. Thanks for bringing me here and tftc.
Another fun find - though 6yo was a little cautious about entering the cache area.
We were out riding getting our exercise for the day and decided to find #2 in this series. It was over a year ago we found the first cache, and didn't realise they followed on from each other, so we re-did cache #1 first. A beautiful sunny day to explore more of this reserve! The directions were nice and clear and led us quickly to the prize. TFTC.
Went back to the car park to start #2 without looking at the instructions (oops) so back to the bridge to continue. Never knew this hit Scotchman Creek trail here which is cool
Feeling a little more confident, I continued on to this cache. I’m glad I realised I didn’t have to start again!
This was a Fun adventure following the directions around this lovely park. It’s quite relaxing blindly walking around listening yo the birds, unsure where I will end up.
Thanks for the cache

After completing number one I forged on and eventually made it to GZ. This is an amazing park in the middle of suburbia. This cache took a while to find. There are certainly bees here but they should not cause you any problems. You really don’t have to go too close to them. The cache was not exactly where I expected it to be, I read previous logs got there in the end.
Geee I’m sure loving this pirate’s adventure.......A lot of fun following instructions rather than coordinates.... surprisingly there were a few muggles around on such a rainy day. Had to use a bit of stealth here.

I felt very clever when I solved this and two of the other "extremely difficult puzzles" in this series. I only followed the directions for #4 and did a pretty bad job of it if I remember correctly. I had found the other 3 caches a while ago but this cache was MIA then.
I was back with the geobeagles today who love all the smells and meeting the many other dogs in Valley Reserve. Thanks to the spot-on co-ords and the clues in the last few lines of the directions we found the cache after a brief search and signed the log at 4:00 pm. TNLN. I used hand sanitiser before and after finding the cache.
Thanks Rabbitto for the challenging puzzle and the well-hidden cache. After finding the cache we had a lovely walk in this beautiful bushy reserve in the heart of the burbs.

I enjoyed following the instructions to the next cache.. not unlike a treasure hunt .. at this cache I got to try out my new piece of Geocaching TOTT .. an inspection endoscope that attached to the phone .. worked a treat.. although in reality I could have just used my eyes.... the cache was in good condition and snug in its little hideaway. Thanks Rabbito for placing and maintaining the cache.
Checked on cache today. This is the only one of the series still in fine condition.
Suzanne Collin's hunger game series is another set of books on my book shelf, so I decided to solve the puzzle.
I noticed in the comments from other geocachers that there was a bees' or wasps' net in the area but I didn't see any evidence of it.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Rabbitto.

Warning eeek ouch bees or wasps - I broke the short sprint record after disturbing the winged wonders at GZ so I never actually signed but I can return. Either way, very nice to rediscover this reserve and it’s ongoing rehabilitation in the burbs that were semi rural when I was a kid - impressive - TFTC series - nicely constructed
Quick find by the other mini-cacher. Now both kids are in a better mood. TFTC! Will return to finish off the series.
After running out of phone battery last week half way through the instructions, I was sure to have it well charged this week! Another lovely walk through a gorgeous reserve, and found the cache easily. Only troubles were waiting for Muggles to pass me, and realising that I needed to look *behind* the information display, not to the right of it. TFTC!
Again we found the instructions excellent and they guided us to the second cache without any issues.
Thanks Rabbitto for bringing us to this fantastic park.
Chiefton!!!

We decided to come back to valley reserve this afternoon without the puppy to find the other 3 in the series. TFTC
Hey, Rabbitto, thanks a million for introducing me to this little gem of a reserve, one which I have been near on hundreds of occasions but never even knew of it’s existence until this week.
It was a true delight wandering through the paths through here to uncover the carefully hidden caches.
All are in good nick.
Thanks again. Fine work

Began looking at the wrong log but figured it out before too long - thanks for the cache!
I found the information sign easy, catch was the area is swaming with bees. So comming back a different day. Thanks for the nice walk though.
What a journey! Rabbitto has lead us on a merry chase "up hill and down dale", to find the 2nd cache in the series! T4TC!!!
Continuing the lovely walk we found out treasure. Such a beautiful day for a walk and treasure hunt. Tftc
I admit to taking the hard option for solving the puzzle and the co-ords were spot on. Thank you for an entertaining challenge.
Out on a Melbourne Sunday arvo taking my daughter for a driving lesson and maybe a few caches as well.
I was here yesterday but had no success due to muggles.
But with the rain on it's way and the temp dropping,no muggles to see.
After a short search I soon had the log stamped.

After heading back to the start, I read the description and realised I needed to continue from the first find. So back I trekked to continue my exploration through the park. Directions were straight forward, and once I arrived at GZ, cache was exactly where it was supposed to be. Alas, with number 3 currently disabled, I had no way of finding #4. Such a shame, because this is a cool series. Tftc
Thanks for the cache, nice quick find. Signed log and swapped some swag. Will be back next week with the Joey scouts!
Out and about last night with Trailstevo, collecting a few smiley faces in the area. We've not been out too much this past few week with manic work and personal lives, so it was nice to get out for a few short stomps. A variety of hides, some sneaky ones, some creative and some of the norm. Thanks for the fun and fresh air, much appreciated.
With a rare free afternoon I made the most of the opportunity to look for a few caches. These caches have been on the radar for a while so I headed for a look. It was quite the rabbit warren to walk around but the directions were clear and easy to follow. A simple find at GZ. TFTC
Some drivebys and short walks on a night out with Gunks. Plenty of muggles out enjoying the sunshine. Was able to grab some but not all. Great series taking us around a park I didn't know was there. TFTC
Thank you for taking us to this part of the woods. This rabbit sure knows his tracks and trails. Found number one and number two in this series. We had a nice walk in this urban bushland. The instructions at times led us up the scenic route. Did not know of the existence of This Fabulous playground until now. Thanks for the fun and the hunt and a nice wander around this bushland with my daughter.
We waited for some muggles to move on at GZ, so we checked out the small wasp pulling a giant spider into it’s nest. Kids were fascinated. Actually there are quite a lot of different insects we haven’t really spotted before around.
Another cache that we dropped a swag item into. Thank you for a wonderful caching experience!

Kids have been running ahead and found it. Thanks for the walk. Met a lady with two dogs had to wait for her to move on before putting it back in. Thank God we were sitting on the nearby beach
Looked for the cache at the wrong spot but finally found after almost giving up TFTC!
