Due to sickness, a loss in the family and a move, I have been very neglectful of this cache over the past few months. I dropped by a few days ago to find the container disassembled and several meters from the hide location. I have decided to archive the cache, as I cannot keep replacing it, especially with the travel this would now entail. I will soon get to work on some better caches, that I can continue to maintain more regularly. Sorry.

15-Oct-12
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

Found on a run to the central coast from Sydney for a change of scenery & to do some caching in a new caching area on a lovely sunny saturday.
As others have said the cache container is laying beneath the steps devoid of all contents, we took a photo to prove our visit as no log in the cache, perhaps it could be replaced with a smaller container in a better hidden spot. Lovely beach though which we wouldn`t have visited but for caching.
TNLN, TFTC.
Cheers from CATONY.

Spotted cache, no log to sign as it has been muggled.

06-Oct-12
This needs more than maintenance and because of it's current vulnerable position I'd recommend it being repositioned elsewhere as it is in full sight when coming up the stairs. There's no log to sign, so don't travel out of your way for this one.

02-Oct-12
Found container on ground with lid off, lid was a few feet away, container was empty. Love the hide idea but as lid is very loose may want to consider a new container. Tftc

A beautiful day, a beautiful beach! Nice easy find, TFTC.

Our last find for the day - number 7. What a great view and a great size container. I was anticipating something "built in" to the location. Just had to hang around for a bit till the coast was clear.
Took a Trackable which was not listed at this location and logged it at its own site.
Dropped a neck lanyard and a Titanic key ring. (No wrecks here I hope).

I have replaced this cache with a new container, depending on how this container weathers over the next couple of weeks I will either reinforce or replace it. Any feedback on the state of the cache would be appreciated.

Cashe has been replaced.

Due to life getting in the way, I forgot that I had neglected to address this issue. Sorry guys. I am taking steps now to rebuild the cache, but just have to check that the site is still suitable. If so, I will have the cache back in place and listed as active within the next 7 days, otherwise I will archive it.

Based on an email from Bikerbuddy,i have ben out to check on the cache and believe that it has been muggled. I will disable the cache for a week or two while i decide if iwill replace this or scrap it.

Thanks, we like the way u think! We were searching around the scrub until we reread the description and hint. Trying to look normal as the many walkers passed us by Smile also got a muggle interested in the geocache thing when they asked what we were doing... She is going to get her kids to have a go!

Great cache! found with alturners and had a bit of problems with muggles. one group had an old man who took 5 min at GZ showing his family some random native plants. we found it easier to retreive cache off the track so i went down pretending to fetch my thong that i had 'dropped' down there. finally when the constant flow of muggles stopped we retreived the cache. when we walked back up to the car the old man was still on the track showing his familly some other palnt. Very interesting find! TFTC!!!!

What an awesome beach and there's also a nice Italian restaurant down the road. A seat on the top step lead to a quick find

23-Oct-11
I have no idea how I missed this cache before!! Probably sitting on the wrong top step, that which has now been replaced.
Anyway, cache found, signed and replaced without being observed.
(I knew I was only having a boy-look before!!!!!)
Left some geeky stickers, TNSL TFTC

A very clever way to hide a cache indeed.
As we were finding the hide, a NPWS officer was closing off the path with barrier tape and signs, as a tree had taken out some of the railings near to GZ. So I suppose it may be closed for a while.
Thanks ogallcobair MDG.

Easy find as was quite visible. Geo-kid made a swap and tried to conceal it a bit, but not sure if it will stay put. An interesting container and thanks for showing us this lovely beach. TFTC

One of our favourite beaches, we have walked over this spot many hundreds of times. Cool

01-Oct-11
It was an easy night time find as we had the place to ourselves. It's a great view from this spot. The tree that recently fell over and took half the walkway with it was pretty impressive.

We didn't have any geek items with us but we'll share the secrets with you - as-well-as both of us being caching geeks, Mr Chippyroo is a gamer and Mrs Chippyroo is a geologist so anything rock excites her! Oh and both of us love The Big Bang Theory. TFTC.

TFTC. A really well prepared cache and its in great condition.

Another easy find in a great spot. Part of the walkway was demolished by a fallen tree but its still safe to navigate.

Took the dice bag and left our trademark .

Checked on the cache in response to the recent DNF and was pretty surprised at the state of the walk way. Luckily enough the cache is undisturbed, and I'm pretty confident that it will remain unmuggled during repairs.

15-Sep-11
Another DNF for today.
There has been a major tree fall over the walkway and the walkway severely damaged, and I wonder if it is still there. Or did I only have another "boy-look"?
Another day.

Found with Team unibolt nice idea Thanks for the effort on this oneSmile

Nice cache, not what we expected. This is a nice place to visit. TFTC.

04-Sep-11
A lot of people were picnicking in the park and on the beach, several were even swimming although the water is still freezing. With no-one near GZ we had a leisurely look and soon spotted the container, which took a minute to retrieve before we worked out how it was kept in place. No time for swaps with muggles strolling towards the steps. Thanks for a clever hide, something a bit different.

Saw this one pop up on the email, close to home base, so thought I'd jump on the FTF!
Great spot, clever hide. Took me a bit to work out how to release it from it's hiding spot! This one will be a real challenge once summer gets here!
Took Zelda, left a neoprene phone case.
Thanks for the cache, and the lovely spot. Six_stars Smile
