This was a test of patience, as I balanced our baby in the sling hanging in front of me, the camera resting on his head and I circled slowly until the waypoint was just right! Taken just outside Berkhamsted, Herts, UK.

Used locationless cache locater probably for the last time http://www.yvanovich.com/terraserver/checker.php?wp=GCB918&wpname=Duck%20and%20Cover along with mapquest to see how to get there and ended up between Villamont and Montvale in Bedford County Virginia USA. Glad it was winter only took one daughter since I did not know how hard it would be to get to ground zero. 1BuzyMom with Audrey

Finally getting around to this one. Found in a barren farmers field just east of Winnipeg,MB. Great winter day only -2 celcius. TFTC

... nothing much around there Sad

But it was a nice challange ...

This one is in Craig's Swamp near Craighurst in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. Thankfully it was in the trees not the swamp itself.

This was harder than I thought it would be. Between deep snow, bushwhacking, and the trees messing with the GPS readings it was difficult to locate and get to the spot.

Just north of the M10 motorway near St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. Had forgotten about Locationless Caches until I was reminded of them on the forums. First tried this one last summer, but the fields were full.

28-Dec-05
This one took several attempts to get the correct reading. My GPSr was bouncing around and the spot is almost on private property. The location selected is located in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan very near Lake St Clair.

Thanks to Web-ling for the cache!

This was right off a side street from US 39 in Indiana.
As you can see the old saying is true, we only do have corn field here.
One shot is north, the other is south.

This is our cache # 100!!!!
We went to another pair of quintuplets last week, but those coordinates turned out to be in the front yard of a house. Therefore we searched Google Earth to find some better coordinates. This is in the middle of the dunes, so we did not expect any problems. However, this spot was under the trees, so I did take us about 15 minutes to get the coordinates at a picture.
Very nice idea!

This was in a wooded area just off of one of parish roads outside Minden, Louisiana. Since Minden only had 2 caches, I decided to place a cache at this location.

21-Dec-05
If you convert the Deg., Mins., Sec. on the coords in my photo they come out to N43.22222 by 70.88888 in Dec. Degrees. These coords are almost in the traffic to the side of the Comfort Inn in Dover, NH near Route 9. Thanks!!

Finding this one took some doing and brought me to a view not often seen around here. This spot is not too far outside the Withlacoochee State Forest in Citrus County,FL but on private property. Bruno and I drove around following small roads that were taking us in the right direction till we came to a dead end about .16 from the needed coords. There was a split rail fence, but (honest!) a section was down right where we wanted to walk through. Took this as a sign, walked to the coords and found this wonderful view. Thanks for bringing us here.

N 45° 22' 22.2" W 75° 22' 22.2"

This double quint was easy to find, but I couldn't get too close withouth trespassing and there were barking dogs nearby. The location is just outside Vars ON along Russell Road between Frank Kenny and Rockdale roads. This would appear to be a soybean field... flatter then p**s on a plate!

18-Dec-05
I grabbed this on a cold snowy day. It's not far off the highway in Ames, Iowa. Thanks to fishpounder for taking the pictures!

17-Dec-05
This one is located just a couple of miles from my house in Galesburg IL.

It is truly a shame these caches are going to disapear from Geocaching.com Twisted they add a refeshing change to the every-day hunt.

Found in Liempde (the Netherlands) at the border of a nice area to walk true.
Exact place in the water but it was to cold to day Wink

Found a pair of quintuplets on the side of a road in West Sacramento. Didn't even have to get out of the car, just inched it around until I found the spot.
Two previous attempts failed: one was in the middle of a busy street (someplace you should never leave your quintuplets!) and another was about 15 feet past a barbed wire fence that said no trespassing.

15-Dec-05
Found this today in Sha Tin, Hong Kong. The satellite shot on Google showed the waypoint to be on the top of an apartment building, but fortunately, I was able to find it on ground level.

These spezial Coords are in Hilden, A town in Germany

Snow yesterday and rain today. Got wet while I slipped and slid my way to this one. This one is on a power line cut near Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

We have been meaning to do this one since July, and finally got to it in December. This was located in the vacant lot next to the Wetumpka Street and Sanitation building off US 231 north of Wetumpka. Was just about a two feet away from standing in a pool of water. Thanks for the fun!!!

This location is at the corner of Skelton Road and Brandi Lane just a bit north of Jefferson, Oregon. We were pretty happy to find that the spot we picked for this cache was fairly scenic. The horses you see in the background wandered over to see what we were up to. They left shortly after allowing us to take their pictures. Smile

07-Dec-05
Woo-hoo!

Left my digital camera at home. Got all set to shoot photos with the cameraphone, but its battery was on the way out. I had to drive in my VEHICLE to ground zero so as to piggyback off the cigarette lighter. But I got it though.

The above coordinates put you in between two office buildings on the East side of Loop 1 (MoPac), just North of Steck Avenue.

The tree nearby was cool to see.

This place is in Beauvechain (Belgium) near my cache Black Magic (GCP1HK). Not much to see here: a street with houses, one of them a former butcher store. The exact location is on a piece of grassland.

04-Dec-05
Found this spot just south of Norfolk Nebraska while out pheasant hunting today. This spot is in the middle of a bean field. Took pics from the truck since the snow is about a foot deep around here.

04-Dec-05
This location was 1.04mi from my home it is located in the parking lot for a small manufacturing company Press Way in Fraser Mi. TFTC

This spot a little south of 96th St. the northeast side of Indianapolis is in a very wooded area in the middle of some large rustic houses. I asked the homeowner if I could walk out about 85' from her drive and get the photo. The lady of the house called the man of the house and he came and gave me permission. Thanks folks!!

P.S. Do I get extra credit for doing it at 12:03 on 12/3 Smile

A very nice cache idea. I found this one in Jersbek in Northern Germany. Thanks for the cache.

Found this pair of quintuplets about 15kms from home, in a field of cows near Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. An added bonus is that it is on the 31st meridian.

It wasn't easy to find and this was the best i could get, 3 meters from the spot. To reach it i'd need to enter someone's house.

It was in Marinha Grande, Leiria, Portugal.

Freezing cold in Posey County Indiana the morning of November 24, 2005, Thanksgiving. The family are still asleep, so I snuck out and logged a few locationless sites. Visited the following and took pix. Thanks for the finds. Mike

Thought this would be easy to do on the water in my small boat , but found my self going round and round for quite some time before getting the money shot ! The location is about 350 metres offshore in a small bay with an island approximately 700 metres East.

Only a few kilometers from my home I found these coordinates. It was already quite dark. And it was in the center of a field with too much mud. A realy hard cache.

Only a few kilometers from our home we found these coordinates. It was already quite dark and view is not very great from there.

Found this spot in the parking lot of an office building along US 250 in Fishersville, VA not far from our house. The neat thing here is that I could get both N38.11111 W079.00000 AND N38.11111 W078.99999 just a bit apart! The view isn't much - you can see the 7-11 owned by a friend of ours nearby.

Found this 10-4 only 10 km. from our home.

I've wanted to find this cache ever since I saw it listed. I downloaded google-earth and got a satelite picture of it before I went to look for it. Pretty cool. My quintuplets were located about 1/3 mile from a rural county road along the edge of a field. I'm glad it was dry!

This location is in a parking lot in front of highway 40 in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada.

08-Nov-05
These coordinates are at the "Alster" in Hamburg. The coordinates are so close to the water, that the last digit of the north-coordinates is one to high... hope it´s ok!!

I initially set out to locate N43*00.000 W82*22.222 which is less than a kilometer from my home, but couldn't get to it because it was out of sight on private property in Sarnia, Ontario. I then drove 15 kilometers away and found the posted location. The photo shows my GPSr sitting in the middle of a plowed farmer's field that has recently been cleared of corn.

We were drving along the Road heading back to Port Augusta in South Australia when I noticed we were very close to these numbers. we headed bush and in a fly blown 40c hot day we drove almost to this exact spot through sandy red scrub.

05-Nov-05
This was in the middle of Lake Lanier. Lake Lanier is a wonderful lake in North Georgia. We did this on our jet ski's. It was pretty diffucult because we were always moving so we had to take the pictures fast. I did this with Koguma. Thanks for the very fun locationless cache.
Oh....and this is my 100th find!!! Wohoo!!

02-Nov-05
Hardest thing for me on this cache was getting the picture! TFTC!

This is located on a farm on Kinns rd about three miles west of Woodburn, Oregon.

This was close to home. This was in a corn field off of Greenview Dr. in Brodheadsville.

Finally! I've been trying to get to one of these for several months; this was my 12'th attempt. Several times I've bicycled or walked long distances up steep hills, only to find "Keep out" signs blocking my way. Once the map showed that the spot was on a beach, but it was really 150 feet out in the ocean.

This is about 100 feet north of the westbound on-ramp for California highway 299 at the Blue Lake exit. It's right at the edge of the cleared right-of-way; if it had been 20 feet farther north I'd have had to crawl through dense vegetation to get to it.

After thinking about this cache for so long, I'm almost sad to be done with it.

This Morning i found this nice Place in the middle of a Cow-field in Lower-Saxony ( germany ). It was very wet and i had to change my shoes and socks, after the cache.

I remembered this cache as I placed one in the nearby area and saw all the 2's, so I entereed this co-ord and drove right to the spot. I was amazed the palindrome co-ords I did at the same time were only 30 metres apart.
(will upload pics as soon as my camera recharges (tomorrow))
Great cache idea.Big Grin

This is the site of a pair of quintuplets in Florence, SC. Unfortunately, it's part of the Florence airport and access was restricted beyond the point of the picture.

26-Oct-05
Passed by this location on my way to work. I returned later in the day to get the pictures. The location is a farmer's field on Fleming Road in Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. Luckily the corn had just been harvested and the ground had recently been tilled. The pictures aren't too spectacular.

Just beneath the "Bjørndalsbroa", Trondheim, Norway

This pair of quintuplets is located off of Lindsay Street in Lindsay, Ontario. Google Earth got us pretty close and we were very excited to realize that the coordinates landed us in a small open space in a subdivision. Even better was that it wasn't that far from home.

20-Oct-05
In the middle of Delft, the Netherlands. I was lucky to find my pair of 'quintuplets' located on a parking space, because there are a lot of large buildings around!
The red building is one of the Technical University in Delft.

This set of coords took the crew out to a local farmer's field.

I landed in the median of 71-Highway heading south out of Kansas City. Had to cross some traffic to get there, but no problems. Three views...first, the GPSr at the locale, second a shot looking east at 71NB, and third, looking west at 71SB.

We were traveling south on US Hwy 71 on a caching trip when Mary ask me if I could understand this cache. It wasn't long until I told her to stop here. This coordinate was a little over a 100 feet west of the highway a little south of Rich Hill, Missouri.

This is in San Diego on the the edge of Pacific Highway at the Washington Street exit. If the coordinates had been just a couple of feet east, they would have been in 60 mph traffic. We took the required GPS photo plus one in each of the compass directions from ground zero. Thanks, Web-ling, for this enjoyable locationless cache. It's a shame they're going away; we'll miss them.

I've been planning to take this one for quite some time. The satellite coverage at the spot wasn't the best possible so I had to run around for a while before getting a fix that could be cought on 'film'.

Found my way to this location, which is in a residential area in Golden Colorado. Unfortunately, the exact coords would have put me in these folks bedroom, and their fierce looking dog would not even let me get to the front door to ask permission, so I took pictures from three sides. The W coords are in two of the pics, and the N coords are in the other. I also included a panaramic view that includes the house & the valley containing Golden, with the foothills in the background.

ROCK FERRY, BIRKENHEAD, WIRRAL, UK
After a first failed attempt in West Kirby, where I'd have had to climb on a house roof, I went for these co-ordinates.
It was late at night (and raining), so the only photo is of the illuminated GPS. The location was on a small road adjacent to the New Ferry Bypass, close to a large house

I took this challenge, used a regular 1:50000 local map in order to find this PoQ in my neighbourhood. I picked this one witch was the easiest I think. It was funny to discover the number of-, and placement of isolated cases witch could be cached on dry land. My site is on Kvaløya, about 5 km from the city of Tromsø in northern Norway, - - in a bored area, wet grass, a few trees and small hills obstructing the view. Picture of GPS on site, Tromsø island and a small autumncoloured rowanberry tree.

We've only been caching for 6 months, but have had this one in the back of our minds for some time. We have been on the road in our RV for 4 months, but lo and behold!, we get home to AZ and there it is. This set of quints is on Fort Huachuca. Used my Delorme to scout it out. Photos are OK but I couldn't quite get me and the gps in the pic at the same time. Musta been the 485 foot hike from the road.

24-Sep-05
I found these coordinates on a rainy day half way between Rushford and Bratsburg, MN. About 7 miles from my home. This was by far the most interesting cache I've ever found. I let Mapquest give me the general location, but that is where the interesting part started. Did I mention that it's really raining today. So I drove out to the general location (per Mapquest) and started bushwacking. I didn't want to get the digital camera wet so I kept it in my pocket. There is quite a bit of glare off the gps, but you'll have to take my word for it. TFTC

This was a fun cache to try and do. Actually taking the picture for proof seemed to be a harder challange than finding it. The glare on GPS made for difficult photography. Enjoyed the hunt.
