In town with CaptainVimes for a work event (hers, not mine) and to find a few caches. Cracker of a view. I don't think I can see my house from here though. Thanks for the cache Freddo
Out for lying stroll, and trying to find a few geocaches along the way.To be honest, this one was not on my list for the day. But while taking the easier trail to the tank nearby, I decided to take a smaller trail. Which went left and right and left and right an absolutely the wrong way, until it popped out just a few meters from this one. So I found it.Now lets head back to the tank and civilisation.I have a couple of geocaches that were hidden in 2003, that are still alive, so thanks to those folks, like Fredo, who started hiding, geocaches really early on.
Beautiful view, but quite a tough walk up the track to get there! Thanks for keeping such an old cache going
Wow - this one really got the heart going! Naughtybunny and I parked nearby and walked up to the top of the hill to nab three caches along the track (one being the final to a mystery). Breathtaking views of the city and we'd like to return when the morning sun is behind us, not in front of us. The cache was found quite quickly and loved grabbing one of the "originals". TNLN. Cheers.
Cache of the day for me.
I love a good walk, and had no idea this spot was here. The narrow track looks like it gets a good workout, and next time I come up here I'll go that way, despite the scratchy vegetation. We came up via the road, and it was bloody steep in parts. Very enjoyable, and lovely to do such an old cache. We arrived at GZ just before sunset , so the views were pretty spectacular.
Thanks for bringing us here, really enjoyed it.

This cache was unfortunately out in the open so i put it somewhere near coordinates that made sense. The cache is very rusty and was hard to open. Neither the less thanks for the cache.

Out with son trying out his new toy - a drone. Bonus a geo & koala in tree nearby
Found for the second time today with Olga, Luna, Ian and Fay. We went for a walk, down from here and back up again. It was hot.
Stephen and Chris found this one 20 years ago, on 31/1/2002. I remember reasonably well. We parked near the bottom, and Chris wasn't thrilled with the walk - he was 10 at the time - but he did it.
Nice to see it is still going, though I believe this is at least the 4th replacement, and the log only dates back to 2013.

Afternoon drive with Pony1966. Great walk and views. We didn't find the alternate path until we went cross country to the previous cache! All good here.

Great View on the actual Green Hill! We brought 3 pens and none of them worked when trying to sign the logbook. We ended up dipping the end of one pen in the ink of a pen that leaked, and that worked good enough to write the log.

Nice view up here. Lost count of how many caches we have found today around the area. TFTC
Sensational spot. I love a good view.
I’m on the way back up the hill home before noon, and the weather was so good that I decided today was the day that I’d stop at the saddle halfway up Greenhill Rd and walk to this one. Apart from being less taxing than the walk from suburbia below, you get the big reveal in the last 50 meters.
So the CO joined Geocaching in January 2002 and had this out within a fortnight? How impressive is that?!
Cache is all good (a bit brazen), the only way this could have been better is if it had the original log.
I failed to spot Frog Manor.
Cache of the Month for me!!

Can you believe I climbed all the way up here and when I got to the top and found the cache realised that I forgot to bring my pen
Rested and enjoyed the view before the trek downhill.
Will come again another time and bring a pen with me!!!

On my way into the hills today to place and find, I had to catch this one after missing it on the cantankerous run. Fresh chilly morning up here. Great time for a spot of zing tea! Thanks for the cache trekking Freddo
A day of caching and an event to attend with hevwalker & Moneydork. Weatherwise it was a pleasant day and after attending the event, caching continued into late evening.
In the hunt for these caches there were times when hills were climbed, ladders climbed, a snake avoided, branches ducked under, a grass seed or three picked from socks, traffic dodged, cake & popcorn munching, video viewing, socialising, puzzle help and stealth & the odd PAF was needed... No binoculars therefore no house spotting, can you spot it in the photo?

No frogs came for a walk with Moneydork, LiB & I today...
That was one major hill but a steady pace saw us up there...

Yes the damned Frog did have to go for a walk up a big steep hill didn't he? I enjoyed the walk up here, the views were speccy and it was nice to find this old Freddo the frog cache.
My health app was looking good after the stagger up and the stagger back down.
Shame (or is it) that I have now solved a puzzle that will bring me back up here.
TFTC Freddo the frog, that is another amphibian target cache found.

Cache #2281. Last find today.
This Sunday, we went to Greenhill Recreation Park and Chambers Gully for hiking, and geocaching. Easy 3 hour hiking.
Excellent view there! Found a koala on one tree, and a kookaburra on another tree.
Signed the log book, and put it back. Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for the cache, Freddo the Frog.

Tonight, it wasn't a bad evening with clear sky, and with rain forecast in the next few days, I decided to go for a solo evening walk targeting a nearby cache. A nice walk from parking (although I didn't trust my jeep parking on such a slope, that I needed to park towards the bottom further), and then made my way to this location. A quick find at this location, and the cache seemed very much out in the open. Perhaps everyone who walked down the nearby path were just mesmerised by the incredible views, that no one paid attention to what was lying in the ground nearby? Thanks [@Freddo](http://coord.info/PR8C14) - nice to have found this oldie 01/2002 cache so close to Adelaide!
After I slipped down the slope, geo-son found the cache. Hurt hands and pride.

After the heat of the day I went for a short hike to grab a couple of caches.
I took the fast/steep option up and then took the long way back. Great views over the city and came across mob of kangaroos on the way down.
Thanks for the cache.

For one frogs can’t walk so if you find a frog that walks then please show me, plus what a view! I doubt most would even know you can come up here. Unfortunately the cache is broken and is in serious need of maintenance .
The cache is smashed in half and needs replacing I did not have another container with me
The frog goes for too many walks, particularly up hills. Found a tiny lizard and tiny scorpion sitting on top of the cache. Now there is probably an Aesop's fable lurking nearby. Sensational views. TFTC
Came and visited Madagascar.

Nice walk and great views at GZ. I grabbed the TB inside. Thanks Freddo for the cache.
This Oldie was definitely a my must-do, so I search for a good parking and finally I had left about 500 meters of walking ! Reaching the top I started searching and eventually I found the box, which I couldn't believe it was hidden this way . Just trust your coords..... After logging and dropping I enjoyed the very nice view of Adelaide before the journey continued .

Greetings from Brisbane . A weekend trip to Adelaide and surrounds was planned to see the sights and find some of the interesting, rarer and older geocaches you have hidden here.
Day 2: An early start was made to head into the Adelaide Hills before visiting McLaren Vale, Cape Jervis and then down to Victor Harbour. With a few hours of daylight left, I headed back into the city for a few more smilies, then climbed a hill to watch the sun dip below the horizon .
At the end of a looong busy day, it was nice to make the short climb up here, find the cache and then sit and reflect a while to smell the roses. Nice to see an older cache still in play, though the container is beginning to crumble due to long term UV exposure.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **Freddo the frog**. Discover our TB

Frog went for a walk...... Yeah...... Right..... Trek to really earn the T3 rating....
Had just found cache for the day nearby and decided that with the terrain as it was it is in an area that I am not going to get back to in a hurry so decided to make the effort to find all the caches in the area today. Trekked up the hill to GZ and soon located the cache, signed log and replaced. one more to go and not too far away. Phew......

out and about with getnict chasing down the last 8 caches of their D/T grid. This was one of them. Took the short steep walk to gz and found a bike riding muggle at the top. Took some photos and then found a cache. Nice views from here.
Getnict went walking on a Winter's day.
Ahum. Ahum.
They met sir_spectre on the way.
Ahum. Ahum.
He said getnict want to fill your grid?
I will tortue you slowly through the day.
Ahum. Ahum.
Getnict said yes and they were on their way.

Miss Ness struggled up some hills,
whilst spectre kept them on his heels.

Miss Nic was sick but still powered away,
they joined two teams to survive the way.

Certainly deserving of the terrain rating. Chose to ride my bike from high on Greenhill road. Made the journey easier. Thanks
A short walk up a Green Hill not so far away,
with Purrfect Di, Sebastbat and < Alex > .
Seemed like a good place to go on Good Friday!
We came, we saw the view, but didn't know which mansion was Freddos !
Our house is out therre somewhere. Nice sunset.
So many other people arrived shortly after to see the sunset, glad we found it before they arrived!
Fav - because caches with a walk and a view deserve a point too!

Felt it was about time to walk up a hill and this seemed to be the right hill to tackle.
Don't get sucked in by nearby possibilities but trust the co-ords.
Was a little damp inside, log was good in it's zip bag. Removed some paper and dried the rest with the hanky.

A nice day out and day off is spent Caching of course [^] Found this one with it's very lucky vantage point of a fantastic view of the city and Adelaide's East side. A well chosen spot for sure SL at 14:54 on Mon 5 Sept 2016. TN, left my card. The cache and it's contents are all good and dry. TFTC and for showing me another great location, Freddo

Tuesday night caching run with Moneydork, and this time we focused on the inner South East, having a go at a few multi's before heading up to the foothills and hiking our way through some traditionals that looked out over the city.
Our last find for the night. We had already travelled along this path quite a way to grab some other caches, and it was only a short hike up from our last cache so we made the effort to continue on up. Passed a bus stop (No. 16) that for the life of me I cannot see it's purpose, with no homes, and no businesses nearby. Awesome views from the top, including a very distant twinkle to the north west that we felt sure must be Yorkes, as it was far too big a light source to be a ship.
This was find number 4 of 4 for the night for me. TFTC Freddo!

After yesterday, the thought was... not another hill!! LOL :cP Though keen to grab a few caches in the area and soak up the awesome views, we made our way up the hill. Seemed like a breeze after yesterdays efforts ;c) Some of the best views panoramic and unobstructed GZ. TFTC Freddo!

Using rarer DT combinations as a basis for choosing caches to find gives interesting experiences. This cache came with a good walk and glorious views as a bonus to the numbers. I made tougher work of finding this than the difficulty rating should allow, but widening my search soon produced the cache.
We hid CanTankerous further down a while ago and we thought it was time to come up and find this one. Fairly hard walk, very easy find. Either the lid wasn't quite shut properly or the container leaks, because there was some water inside it. Took boomerang keyring, left pokemon character. TFTC
climbed the hill to find muggles at the top! plenty to look at while we waited for GZ to be all clear.

I arrived in Adelaide today ahead of the upcoming Oz Mega event, and the majority of the day was spent trying to track down a few chosen caches that I was keen to put on the found list. Today I found myself in the area chasing down another cache, and so I stopped by to grab this one. This is a very nice location with great views to boot.

In the footsteps of frog, squizzie went for a walk today. The walk included 120 metres of elevation and some heavy breathing. The view up here is great and I watched a plane coming into Adelaide airport. I noticed in the distance that frogs gutters need cleaning so there is something for him to do on the weekend. I rescued an Uncle Hagrid travel bug from the cache and will send him on his way. Thanks Freddo for some lunchtime exercise.
In your description you missed the word steep for the longer walk up the track! Started out in the dark and watched the sun come up and the city come to life. The birds were fantastic. Rosellas, choughs, kookaburras, new holland honeyeaters. Lovely. Left Hagrid TB to enjoy the view. (Wrote the wrong date in log book).
Owl and Sushilord were exploring the puzzle-ridden hill and Owl wanted to find the nearby traditional. Round and round and round she went until she was dizzy and finally figured out where north was. The last turn revealed the cache. Great views from up here.
In the neighbourhood for a nearby puzzle cache, this one was an easy quick walk-by on the way back to the car. I love finding these old caches and this one in such a great spot with awesome views. No way would I ever have come here without the incentive of a few smilies. So thanks (again!) Freddo for another great cache!
Had a brisk walk up to the cache - good exercise. Good views from the top. Cache was well hidden. Interesting to see the bushland regenerating. Thanks Freddo!
We enjoyed the view while on our walk this morning- the day is heating up. Thankyou for bringing us here for this great view. We were shadowed by a muggle as we walked up the hill- thought he must be another geocacher but he turned around on reaching the general GZ area. We grabbed the cache after he left and then continued along a bit further ... TFTC.
Just happened to be walking passed.
Ran into a mountain biker muggle who lingered around GZ. When he left I closed in on GZ, only to find he had doubled back and wanted to chat. Not to worry as when I queried on the track he took to get up here, he said, "Oh the track starts over there, near the geocache" LOL! We then went on the talk about tracks, gullies and blackberries. Nice bloke.
Thanks for the cache, Freddo.

A nice little walk and a magic spot for a cache and a picnic. Found on the same walk as my 600th, and this one was easier to find than that puzzle cache over the hill! I took the time to belt out a little tune to all frogs in the area on the harmonica found in the cache. TFTC
Had to visit the big smoke for an appointment. Decided to take the scenic back-way home. . Took the short steep way. Regretted it half way up. Was reading logs as I went. Damn - a puzzle ends up here and I haven't solved it. Damn - don;t even know what the puzzle is. Could just have a search...no just got this instead. Pretty sure I could see the amphibious one's house so took a picture. Thanks for the exercise, almost heart attack and knowledge I will have to come back!
Great view and easy find after a trek up the hill from suburbia. Squirrel and I had a go at the harmonica before heading on to another nearby cache. TFTC
A quick find while walking to find an unknown that we had solved. Found with the geo-wifey Bek-theraccoon. PS amazing view
The Tiger and his crew went for a walk too (although there was several years between these two episodes). The cache was rounded up n quick time only to look over our shoulders and see a family of four sitting on the hillside enjoying a spot of lunch and the view (Little House on the Prairie style). I was hardly surprised to see the previous finders name in the log book. TFTC Freddo.
A roach went for a walk today with his whole family. We found a cache and we placed a cache nearby. We also replaced the saturated logbook.
Fantastic views over the city!

Nice walk, fantastic view and a very wet cache. Was not able to write in the log book, to soaked. TFTC
Freddo This was completely soaked when we found it last night. The log was also badly wet. I had nothing with me to really do anything to help except empty it put the lid back on and rehide it. It was still obvious where it was supposed to be although there was also evidence of a litters picnic next to the cache. Sorry I couldn't help more. such a beautiful view!
Definitely steep from the parking spot but the view was worth it! Right at sunset. wonderful. Unfortunately the lid was off the cache and out was full of water . We were not equipped to do any repairs. Tftc

LM's is a family of 2 adults 6 kids and we all went marching up the hill, piggy backing the youngest so I'm not sure whether to thank you or not Freddo! Think theres a reason why this one hasnt been done in a few months lol. Took You found It! Geocoin and Dorrigo NSW #2 Travel Bug because they hadn't been moved in a while. Left Pathtag...........the view was extraordinary!
Thought it time for me to go for a walk. Saw cache. Took some Geo coins. Left some Geocoins. Took my puffer and signed the log. Then rolled all the way home.
