**Find # 5338**
**Time: 5:15 pm**
**Date: 17 September 2017**
Log was wet and unsignable. I left it out to dry for about an hour but I think it was too humid to make much difference. A better container might be needed.
**Thanks for placing this cache jclchan. **

#7614 - 14:15; Arrived in Hong Kong yesterday late and after collecting a cache on the island close to the hotel, the geohoney and I headed over to Kowloon to see how much things had changed since our last visit thirty something years ago. After a little look around, the geohioney headed off on some retail therapy and i headed to the park for some caching. The hint was definitely required to make the find on this one and as the previous finder has indicated, the log is quite wet. TFTC jclchan
**This was 1 of 28 caches that was found during the 4th of 8 days in Hong Kong/Macau**
First of all, I would like to mention that this log is written on 14 August 2018. Thus almost 1,5 year after I was here and signed the logbook. And since I will return in the beginning of October it's time to write logs on everything.
*When I late September saw that SAS had an low price offer on an direct flight from Arlanda, Sweden to Hong Kong international I booked an ticket without checking if I would get an vacation from work.*
*Fortunately it was possible to take a few days so I could now start to plan my stay in 2 new geocaching countries.*
*When I was back home I had 49 caches in Macau and 120 in Hong Kong to write "found it"-logs on.*

My first find in HK. Rainy day but that doesn't stop me from caching! Thanks!
Thank you for the good hint. If was necessary, as my Garmin was quite a few metres away. With the hint an easy find. Signed the log. TFTC jclchan.
Second find in Kowloon. Clever clue and managed to drop off a mystery trackable. TFTC!

It was hard to find in the dark and the place was so muggly due to the crowd returning from work, walking thru the park.
Looked into holes and all the usual places after finding the clue and scanning all the GC photos in the gallery..without success. It was dark, but we had a good torch, but it didnt help us locate the cache. Even walked up the higher level, but the landscape didntmatch the one in the photos, so we descended and moved on
Too many persistent muggles at GZ, not interesting in escaping the near thunderstorm. Maybe I will come back...
Very good to read the hint before going on the another level.
Then it was easy to find the cache with all the muggles around me.
Nice park!
Thx, 1more4 Cachy
P.S. And also very good to post the correct log to the right cache... [B)]

Found on a stop-over visit of Hong Kong on my way from Czech Republic to Indonesia, where I drive my small motorbike around Indonesian islands, East Timor and next year to the west - to Malaysia, Thailand and maybe more further..

Awesome park - after a short but heavy rainshower and temps far above 30 °C - extreme conditions for geo cachers from Europe.
Hint description lead me straight to the cache location.

No. 50! And 4th find in Hong Kong! What an amazing park, so nice and peaceful in the middle of this busy city. Thanks.
A while back (after a few beers at a famous Geo Challenge Event) I made the statement that it's possible to find 50 caches in Kowloon in one day...
Well, I can happily report that the statement was correct But the task was MUCH HARDER than I thought![B)]
This was cache 42/52 today!
Two for one!
After getting a bit lost in the park in the dark, we finally found the GZ!

Went there after seeing dentist~ Easy found even though there are lots of muggles, plant overgrown~ BTW, why are there two cache containers?
A cache a long way from home, 6328Km from Australia.
This is one of the most picturesque cache sites I have seen in a long time.
The park was so peaceful and beautifully kept, so hard to believe it is in the middle of a very very busy city.
Thank you for the giving me an experience I would not have had if not for your cache.

Centrocampisto and I arrived in Hongkong today and went to discover the sights.
These parks over here are a must to stroll through - they're absolutely beautiful and fascinating.
At the right moment Centro grabbed the little one!

Kowloon Park is a great place to be. Skippy and I enjoyed it. The cache was an easy grab. The hint helped...
Whe I put the cache container back I realised, that there is already another container. Maybe I should have logged in the other logbook, since the one we used was completely empty.

Finally found this cache after a few attempts!!
This is easy to find the GZ with the new hint.
From log photos it was a big box that can put things in it.
So I was looking for a big size object
however, with the new hint released, I came to this GZ again and found 2 small caches which are different to the old photo from the log. these 2 small caches look exactly the same except the color of the lid is different.
I was expecting to pick something and leave something in this cache (which I haven't seen one of these big boxes yet.), but with the 'new' size cache obviously I could not do it this time.
Anyway, at least I got another smiley face on my map, yeah!
TFTC and the new hint !

Reached the right GZ easily with hint but it took us a while to grab the caches (yes two caches) in hands. TFTC!
Armed with a new hint and found really quickly. Before, all I had to go on was "magnetic & Pipe". Today I had additional information that lead me right to it.
Funny that as I was approaching the cache from maybe 50m, I pretty much knew where the general area was going to be. I see a girl standing there and looking at her phone. She kept looking around the area but wasn't really searching. Looks too much like a geocacher if you ask me. I get to GZ and go in for the grab quickly and walk away. I sign the log and start to head back to replace the cache. She asks me if that is the geocache. I said yes, She wanted to know where it was and I still had it in my hand and took my free hand to show her where it was located, but then I found another (2nd cache) at GZ. I had the one in my hand and pulled out another from within inches of where I found the one in my hand. She ended up signing the same log as me, as opposed to the other cache container.
The girl that was at GZ with me was young and she said this was her first cache. Her English seemed a minimal but that sure beats my Chinese at it's non-existent. I felt like asking her to join me for a few more but at the same time, I thought it would be awkward as I was much older and the language barrier. I haven't seen her log show up as this was suppose to be her first find. Now it makes me wonder if she understood how to log the caches. I hope she doesn't get scared off. She said she was from HK. Another new cacher in the area. Keep your eyes open and give her a helpful hand if you're local and or speak Chinese.

Third find today. Nice way to end our Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Pretty park, sit and watch the flamingos. Watch out for muggles and foliage. TFTC.
Tftc, w/TeamTED. Quick find, then had magnet incident w/the umbrella, finally returned!
My dear, didn't found one of seven Caches in Kowloon during my first visit here in Honk Kong. However, this one, strangely classiefied as the hardest to find, I found quickly. So, this one is the farest east I've ever found. Thanks a lot for hiding it!
A quick find by Jake using the hint. GZ surprisingly free of muggles- probably something to do with the 35 degree heat!
Went to look at the pretty flamingos afterwards .
TFTC!
The hint was very clear and helpful. I couldn't spend too long looking for it because a lot of muggles were watching us.
