Kia1 is another geocacher that's simply just given up on the hobby. How many people need to report the GZ out before the coordinates get updated? How many people need to report the log wet before maintenance is issued? Regardless, I wrapped the log in plastic, hopefully it dries out. TFTC (?) left a sticker.
I am not able to maintain this cache anymore. Sorry to disappoint future cachers.Cheers
After looking for this one previously around the GZ I took myself closer to the tower and found the cache about 38 meters from GZ log was very wet and needs replacing hard to write on
Unable to find this one today was a worker near the tower who I felt was watching me while I was trying to act as non suspicious as possible looked all around Gz will have to spread my search wider at the next visit
I almost gave up on this one. I checked all sorts of things before reading previous logs and deciding to try closer to the tower. My phone had cache 38m from GZ. Log is wet but managed to sign. TFTC
Took a little long than it should have due to weather conditions which may have moved the cache but found nontheless. TFTC
Found It.............It was decided while having breakfast to head down to grab a few caches. After pulling up we wandered over to GZ where a quick search soon had us with the cache in hand and with the log signed and cache replaced we took in the views. Thanks Kia1 for the cache
Cache and dash and another day for the Wheel of Challanges.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Kia1

Hello Kia1 thank you for the cache
A nice easy find.
This was one of many caches found on our way back home from Newcastle seeing our grand children.

I’ve never complained about the pressure of Warrnambool’s water. The taste sure. But never the pressure, and so the towers scattered around the local highpoints are doing their job. I Iook forward to more of them being decorated like the one near the Showgrounds. I think I’ve now completed the set - thanks Kia1 for this series.
Found after an uneventful trip to the docs. Quick find, not what I expected after reading the description. Nice place to reside in Warrnambool, or Dennington to be more precise. TFTC
I decided to do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road this week. It’s been a long time since I travelled along this area and it was certainly before I was into caching! Leaving the glow worms of Melba Gully behind, today I’m heading further west towards Warrnambool and beyond.
This was a quick find at GZ, parking the GeoRanger to give some level of cover.
Thanks Kia1 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Last day caching around Warrnambool.
Just had a few to clean up before I left.
After doing the other two in this series, I was expecting another tricky hide, and was a bit dissapointed to find the cache out in the open.
Thanks, Robmc.

Replaced/Added log and adjusted hide slightly found cache out in plain sight. Still where it says it is.
We were taking dad into Warnambool to do a bit of shopping and we were hoping to grab a cache or two along the way.
Diane did a check on this one to find that it had been found recently as when we last visited back in April the area was fenced off for road works.
We took a quick detour was made and as we could see it but could not reach it last time a very quick find was made and our name was added to the log.
This was the last in the Tower series for us, it has only taken 8 years to visit them all.
Thanks Kia1 for the cache.

I’ve just come across several caches I’ve missed logging from almost a hear ago I had a lovely day travelling erratically from the Port Fairy area to Warrnambool A quick find here TFTC Kia1
Our new house in Portland has some very old locks and Warnie has a very old locksmith. Who lives across the road from this cache. ie 16 m away. So while he did his thing I did mine. Pretty awesome views from up here. TFTC Kia1
A quick find here this morning port fairy bound. All good with the cache.
Thanks
Thanks
I headed up this way today,
and parked the geomobile right by GZ
Whether any one across the street was watching,
I didn't take much notice
Stealth goes out the window,
when there is no way to avoid being watched through windows [^]
After finding the cache,
one of the local water workers rolled up to the gate.
In the strong breeze,
the gate refused to stay open
So I got side tracked for a moment holding the gate open
Job done,
I put the cache back on me way to the geomobile.
TFTC and fun.

Thought i did this one already when i was in town on holidays 2 years ago as when i pulled up the location was immediately familiar.
Obviously i forgot to log it back then, and logbook has been replaced so couldn't confirm my signing, so logging it now.
Thx Kia1 ftc, now definitely have the whole collection of this series!

After locating another ‘twin’ on my last visit here, what could be more appropriate than to find this ‘twin’ on my short visit to Warrnambool. At first I was a bit confused by the hint but after reading another log I knew exactly what I was looking for and another cache (in good condition) was located. Thank you for all your effort to put out and maintain these caches.
Quick find on a cool afternoon, the original camo container not there (as per previous photo) just a pill bottle. TFTC
Found in open near GZ. Small log signed and photo of contents
Thankyou for the cache, cheers

Parking at the gate, a very short walk to find this one nicely tucked away. Signed and returned. Interesting how many towers Warrnambool has...

Was out and about in Warrnambool so had the opportunity to tuck off some caches. This was a quick and easy find and lucky for me, very little muggle activity in the area. Had some great views up here. TFTC LS.
Cool and drizzly today. Have to be careful with all these houses nearby. Nice hide. Tftc
Had about an hour to spend waiting for a dentist appointment for one of the geokids so decided I'd try to find this one, having not found it on a previous attempt. I'm sure I looked on this place last time!! A massive thanks to Kia1 I've loved your water tower series!!
Found with FUF009.
A 3 day weekend for both of us meant testing the new swags and caching in areas we both had loads of choice from.
Meeting at Panmure and sussing out where to camp was the 1st priority (Lake Ellingamite), then merged into 1 car and hit the trails.
We changed camping location to near Colac for the 2nd night, less bugs more wind.
We had a wonderful weekend with many interesting finds and locations. Thanks to all the cache owners.

Find # 7282
Found with sharkiefan on a camping and caching long weekend in the South west area of Victoria.
We visited from Mortlake to Port Fairy to Colac to Timboon and everything in between, and finishing up in Ballarat on Monday evening for the Giff event.
A quick find, even though the dog over the road was quite vocal.

The old mate across the road saw what we where doing. So he came and gave us a hand to look for it. Had a lovely chat with him.

Long grass, neighbour nervousness, and hayfever inflicted aversion meant that only a cursory look was undertaken, and only rubbish was found.

It is hard to believe "The Parkville Event" Victoria's 4th MEGA is just 7 months away. Many people are working hard to ensure another great weekend - 17 & 18 November - lock it in now!
After the local pre Mega Event, we headed out in perfect caching weather to seek out a few local caches, this was our last for the day - just waiting for some of that fantastic mural art work perhaps !!
Thanks 'Kia1' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.
