After a DNF at Fish Head I walked over here and had a good look around. Looked in all the likely and unlikely spots but eventually resorted to a recent PAF who indicated he'd found it where I was currently looking (or feeling for that matter). Checked, checked and checked again but nothing could I find. I wouldn't think it would get muggled here but perhaps if someone hasn't put it back properly it could be lost.
Not a good day for me.
Not a good day for me.
This was a bit hard for me. Spent a lot of time on Sunday searching for it but today it went better. Thanks a lot for this tricky one!!
One final RMS cache for the night. The trains came and went, but nobody got off, so I had time to assume an unusual searching position unhindered. TFTC.
On my way out of town and continuing a calendar date run. Decided to think first before diving in and the hint certainly helped. Matter of location after that.

Glad we thought the clue through for this one otherwise I think we would have been looking for a while as GPS said we were right on top of it. Co-ords very accurate. TFTC
Found it! Fantastic day for a walk around Pyrmont finding caches. Really liked the clue for this, it's so much better when you have to solve a riddle first! Didn't sign log due to numerous muggles. TFTC!
Unsuccessfully attempted this one before but armed with some more research came up with the goods this time. TFTC
I'm all in favour of the trams - take them further! This was a quick find, in the likely spot. A few muggles were around, but ignored me. TFTC!
Fortunately, it was quiet at 9.15am, One failed attempt at a grab, convinced me that I needed to apply my observational skills before making my next attempt.
Recovered and replaced with ease.

This is another cache picked up by geowife near her work while I'm having a cold TFTC!
We were initially searching around the wrong object and that looked really odd... thankfully, satellite map saved us before anyone took any further interest in us. Cache was found quickly once we located the right GZ. =)
We sort of realised that two items fit the hint after a long search at the first one.. Luckily, ling16 was quick to use the satellite map to show us the actual location of the hide.. Quick grab then!!

TFTC...Lovely day and awesome views........Found it with 2 muggles (my friends) who are prospective geocachers.

Took a group to the Fish Markets for lunch today and so I had my second opportunity to search for this hide that eluded me back in October last year. The GPSr behaved itself this time and I could locate a GZ. I waited for a tram to come and go which meant I then had the area to myself. Within a few seconds and with great relief, I was holding the cache. And that clue...... of course it makes sense..... now!! Love your work rinsemesocks!!

Thanks RMS for bringing me here, where I have never been before and probably would not come if it were not the cache. I should try the tram one day.

Took the lift up to start with. Oops. Then guessed right first time and had the cache in hand quickly. Off to the fish market to buy something for supper

A quick grab, using the clue. Guessed right first time! SL & replaced, then crossed the tram tracks and headed to the fish markets for lunch with the kids.

The coordinates took me into the neighbourhood, the hint took me to the GZ.
Could not get a good signal there, so I started thinking about the hint and there was only one place that made sense as where to apply it. Good hint!
Thank you for the cache, rinsemesocks.

Interesting how many things seem to come in thirds! Eventually found the cache while waiting out a few muggle groups getting on and off the trains. A few of them across the tracks were watching us suspiciously, but then the train whisked them away and we made the find pretty much alone. TFTC!
GPS had me all over the place today, so I resorted to Google Earth on the iPhone to get me on the right side of the tracks. Even then, the railway security people were taking an unusual interest from the other side. Eventually a tram pulled in, which blocked their view and, thanks to the good hint, I was able to make a quick grab. Thanks rinsemesocks for the cache.
Made a quick find here, surprisingly!?!
Then I left the GPS here. Caught the tram, realised my mistake. Returned for an easier find, before continuing on. All up about an hour lost!?!

Quick find, the only challenge was waiting for peak hour crowds to dissipate. Timed my approach around tram times and got a quiet window to retrieve the cache. TFTC from NZ

Found without any difficulty, I say that because it makes me feel good after a few DNF's this afternoon. TFTC
Took me a couple of times to find this one. The hint had me looking in the wrong place. This time I looked at the map better, got a closeup view and had a quick find. Thank you rinsemesocks! Didn't know it was your hide till I found the container.
on the way back from Darling Harbour to the parking place. Nice restaurants around this area. Will come back for dinner. TFTC
We'd spent the day watching a friend compete in Dragon Boat races in Darling Harbour and now found ourselves enjoying a cleansing ale with the team in a local pub. Being outsiders, things were a tad quiet so Zita jumped on the iPhone to see what might be about. This cache popped up only 160m away! We downed our beers and set off down the road taking a route that passed an Italian restaurant that featured an old Fiat 500 and a very sweet looking Vespa S - a treat for us! It didn't take us long to come up with this well-hidden cache - and what an interesting location! This would be particularly challenging in daylight. We got to see a bit of Pyrmont that we weren't familiar with so this hunt was well worth it. TFTC!
Arriving at GZ (more or less), with poor accuracy on the GPSr I took the easy way out and read the clue. As I looked around, it was obvious where the true GZ was. Once at the right area, there was really only one likely place to look, and the cache was quickly in hand.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Oh Rinsemesocks! At last, I have found the elusive Trams, Fish and Eclipse. Hook, line and sinker, I took your clue too literally. I was fixated on a location I thought was GZ. Not! How do others find the cache? They look for something different from what I was looking for. I needed clarity. I needed help. I got some from The Voucher - thank you - and today, having been told only a general location, I found within a couple minutes the cache. It was promptly seized, signed, and replaced. At long last! SL TFTC.
Wandered over from my Darling Harbour Hotel for the fairly quick find....Another good rinsemesocks cache. TFTC!!
had to wait for the passing muggles to leave before I could retrieve this one. TYFTC
The hint helped confirm what I thought at first was an unlikely hiding spot. SL. TFTC!
Arrived near GZ and starting searching. After a few minutes I succumbed to the urge and looked at the hint. Was almost standing on it. I love the concept of light rail, the smell of the markets is another 'kettle of fish' altogether.
Very accurate GPS reading above confirmed the hint. (The only good reading I got all day).
Waiting for trains to come and go to see the muggle action. Put my hand on the cache first go. SL TNLN
Waited for another train to avoid muggle detection

We just could
Not find this hahah we figured out the riddle eventually but it got dark and still could not find it!! We're digging around is some yucky things as initially we were way off track with what the clue meant!! Fun hide clever riddle we will get it next time. Was me and kiwiroo DNF

6th for the day looked in the wrong spot at first. Then i looked at the satelite photo and it all made sense tftc
Oh rinsemesocks! The clue makes perfect sense! I feel confident I was right where I was supposed to be - was I somewhere in the 2/3's or in the 1/3? Didn't matter. I looked, felt, and did all other search methods I'm aware of , but could not locate the cache. Had fun looking. TFTH.
Well it's a DNF from me today!! GPSr was bouncing all over the place so I really couldn't get a proper fix on a GZ. I eventually went across the tracks and managed to narrow down a general location. A search of the area proved fruitless however. I could not find anything that remotely matched the hint. As I periodically come down to the fish markets for work, I will return to again seek out this hide. Don't worry rinsemesocks, I'll find it..... eventually!!
Nice cheeky little hide and great clue. Just what you need in the GPS signal starved city!! Thanks for a great cache.
As we found out from a cacher we came across later, we interpreted the hint incorrectly, whilst we went with something small, the hint meant something much larger.
Took me a while - definately not the easiest of finds for me. Had to ponder about about what the hint meant.
Second stop on a walking blitz of the Sydney CBD. Searching time restricted to the few minutes after a tram pulled out and before more muggles arrived. Had to wait for at least 4 or 5 to pass before I realised gps was not co-operating. Eventually ignored it and went with a RMSocks MO in mind which quickly revealed the prize on the opposite side of the tracks. Oh and look, now the gps wants to play ball… sigh.
Nice quick find at lunch, tram arrived just as I did so had to loiter a while, then a quick grab just where it was expected. TFTC! (now if only that nearby Carmichael Troll location could be similarly deserted one day!)
Quick find thanks to an excellent hint! Put my hand on it right where I expected it to be.

#280 I like how the hint fits the cache location so very well. Tram may have just left when I got to GZ because it was muggle-free. Thanks for taking me here. TFTC!
Took awhile as we were on the wrong side of the tracks GPS was going way wire ... Looking at 1/3 but found it as 2/3!!!!! Thanks rinsemesocks 4TC.
It wasn't until we arrived at GZ that the clue became clear and very helpful. SL TFTC Cheers.....Gaztek
Easy one.
Found it today while visiting a number of caches along the tram line.
Was searching on the wrong side of the tracks for a while - guess I need to annotate my maps better.

This cache was a challenge with the muggles coming and going. Found it in a location both of us had felt but must not have done a proper feel. TFTC
I wasn't planning on caching since I just got in from SFO but this one was close to the hotel so I went for the find. After searching for about 15 min or more I was about to give up. That's when I noticed what looked like another cacher. After her searching and watching me and me searching and watching her we introduced our selves and continued with the search. Now with two gazmo's and four eyes I'm thinking we've got to find this one. After DJBaird read some of the logs we returned to GZ where we had both searched before and eventually made the find. Nice to meet you DJBaird and thanks for the help finding the cache that everyone else called an easy find. Good hide & TFTC.
Quick find on our way through to Balmain via the Sydney Foreshore loop. Missed this one last week as our GPS wouldn't settle and the amount of eyes watching us got the better of us, but this time around it was a quick find. Had to wait until a tram had come by to get rid of any prying eyes. Thanks for taking us here. Can't wait for the light rail extension!
A warm spring day and a couple of cancelled meetings. Lets get out there! For a while now I have wanted to catch a tram, my MyMulti ticket now allows me to go as far as I wish and rinsemesocks has planted a cache near one of the stations. The tram is well patronaged until Star City where most people get off. I wonder if the casino helps pay for this service? They should. A lot of rock has been cut to get this track laid. I get off at the Fish Market and hunt around a bit until the cache is found. Thanks rinsemesocks!
Took the TB and SL.

Arrived here this morning and as others cachers did, I went up and down a few times. Gave up on using the GPS and used cachers intuition in several spots till voila, one genuine Eclipse. I wish I was that lucky at catching fish or trains, but unfortunately I have to resort to paying for both. Thank god caching is FREE. Thanks Rinsemesocks for another neat hide in what might be a busy place.

My first ever FTF!!
Found with aniisawesome and hwanger. While doing our science experiment (with myself and aniisawesome) I checked my emails and it popped up that i;ribit had published a cache 3.5 km away from where I live! Aniisawesome and myself catch a train, calling hwanger asking him if he wants to come! He agrees and we meet at town hall, then get way laid by almost an hour because we were watching a street performance in Darling Harbour. After finally getting past it, we made our way to the cache. The GPS was remarkably good despite the tall skyscrapers. After contemplating which side it was on- my GPS said it was on one side, the iPhone's said the other. We decided to go to the iPhone side-despite my thoughts. It wasn't there so we went back, and after a quick search- and leaning over the edge, I managed to see it. Then it was just a matter of getting it-which wasn't too hard!
AWESOME CACHE!
