The worst part about this cache was that we went to a huge effort to rebuild the cache .. Only to have it destroyed by a chainsaw immediately later Sad

'let it go .. Let it gooooo!'

I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Found reminisce of what my have been this geocache tree cutters have possibly distroyed.

09-Aug-15
Found it cache quite quick. but i have a feeling the cache is not in the state it originally was.
There where some broken bits and pieces around GZ that I'm not sure about if there are a part of the cache but a good change it is. also on the top of the container was some weird white liquid, maybe paint.
Advise to the CO is to have a look and hopefully the cache will be here for a long time because its a lovely area!
Thanks for the hide!

21-Jun-15
Sadly this cache is out of play. We are having some trouble with our new caches being excepted by the reviewer so we are disabling our caches to ensure nothing holds them up.

Thank you for your patience.

16-Jun-15
Dear friend has plain piece of paper in, but if someone is down that way and has a spare log that would be great.

06-Jun-15
Up to visit the FIL and I was allowed one cache... Of course a StaceV cache gets priority over all others around and this did not disappoint!!
Thanks StaceV and helpers.. your caches never disappoint! A fave from us Smile:)

25-May-15
Well I'm not sure if this is a sad or happy moment, you see I'm one of those people who collects and likes sets of things and this is the last of StaceV's current active caches that I had to find. It's unfortunate as she has a real talent with creative hides. I have tried to do maintenance on them as I have come across them but unfortunately I am all out of spare logs today.
All the best StaceV I wish you a speedy recovery and who knows one day you might be able to come back to the game.
I always leave a photo with my logs today a bunch of flowers for you Smile

25-May-15
Can someone please bring a spare log with them as StaceV is no longer an active cacher due to medical reasons it would be a shame to see this one get archived

16-May-15
Took me a while to figure out the hint. I'm glad I picked the right place to look. TFTC!

12-May-15
An easy pickup on the way past. Tried to sign the soggy log, but as said by others, the log is completely buggered and needs replacing a.s.a.p. Thanks for the cache.

Inventive hide. Unfortunately the logbook is damp and mushy. I had some stickers on hand so used the backing paper as a temporary logbook.

08-Apr-15
Nice little find today and not very difficult. Great walk along this track and not as many muggles as the lake nearby. Log soaked from recent rain, needs replacing. TFTC

04-Apr-15
Arrived a GZ and found this one very quickly difficulty rating may be a bit high, stood in a rabbit hole on the way back one of many around here TFTC

24-Jan-15
Council had cut down trees in the area in the past week. Found one of the tags indicating with trees to cut down and added it to the cache.

18-Jan-15
Read the clue, at first I was looking for completely the wrong thing. But once I clued in was an easy find. I'm sure this may have been a difficulty 4, but it's really easy to find now. Log book soaked, barely signed but took a photo

18-Jan-15
Log book soaked, can't be written on. Pen missing. Looks like recently there's been some trees cut down around this cache, leaving it exposed and pretty obvious.

09-Jan-15
Thank you for the cache

15-Dec-14
That was a clever cache in its day. Just needs a bit of attention and love but well done. SL

14-Dec-14
I think this once was a great cache, but somewhere along the line it has gotten broken. Now it's poking out of its hide and wet, and could do with a bit of love. Thanks for the hide though, StaceV.

Found it, log book is soaking though. Replacement of the book is a good idea. Great find though!

Spotted it straight away. Definitely not a difficulty 4. Thanks for the cache though.

Found, bit wet under foot!

03-Sep-14
Log book totally soaked - needs replacing

02-Sep-14
Found after a short search at 4:15pm. Was expecting it to be harder given the rating, but given that I had to head off to a meeting, I'm glad I spotted it fairly quickly.
Log was totally soaked and needs replacing. Tried the squeeze dry method and managed a signature of sorts, but it's going to fall apart pretty soon.
TNLN
thanks StaceV

Out for the afternoon on a hunt. Parked at the church and walked across the road, followed a small trail and found the cache. Nice! Thanks

16-Jul-14
Having just done a nearby cache down the road we saw the D level and thought to give it a go. Nice little bridge on the way to GZ to avoid getting our feet wet. We searched around and had not luck for about 5 min and then spotted something. We uncovered it and it was the cache and then soon worked out how to remove the log which turned out to be very damp but just enough to write on. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

King Jr

On the way to pickup geoprince from a cub camp where he had heaps of fun; stopped of here to as we were running a little bit early. The cache took a little while to find so I opened the hint but it didn't help me. About to give it miss as it was getting close to pickup time and then spotted it. The log was a wet so will need a new log.

Our thanks

I had already found a D4/T2 cache for today's run to find as man different Difficulty and Terrain combinations as practical in a day so this was a 'Bonus'.
Not too much of a geotrail. Accurate coordinates meant a find was inevitable. Unable to leave a CSM.

I found this cache today at 4:50pm as cache 1 of 4 on the way home. Parked on the southside of the road and walked over. A reasonably quick find a few metres south of GZ but an odd hint that I still can't work out. Thanks from D B-A.

25-Jan-14
Hunted long and hard but to no avail. I wondered if a freshly fallen tree had messed up the find, but after reading the logs it just seems that we were not up to the task. Will have another look another day.

04-Jan-14
Not too difficult to find, though the fallen tree threw me off a bit.

30-Dec-13
For safety reasons, park on city side of creek. tftc.

29-Dec-13
Done

25-Dec-13
Found the cache sitting in it's hidey hole but it was easy to spot and didn't seem like a four star difficulty cache, perhaps the owner should check on the cache to ensure the camoflague is as it's meant to be?
TFTC.

27-Nov-13
Tricky to get log out. Tftc

16-Nov-13
hmmm... was not sure about the location of this one. But the worn path through the grass suggested I was heading in the right direction. Love the setup on this one - old school geocaching. None of this nano urban rubbish Wink thanks!

11-Nov-13
nice location

Protected by a rabbit!

Thanks for the cache Smile

09-Oct-13
Actually the flora interruption made it more fun!

05-Oct-13
Tree has crashed onto GZ. Added some dry paper as log is wet. Left a small gift. Hint had to be used but nice hide that needs repair.

05-Oct-13
Cache tube taking moisture. Returned to same position leaving treasure! All that sparkles!

02-Oct-13
A tree has fallen right ontop of GZ so I was unable to locate the cache. A chainsaw is in order!

15-Sep-13
Out today looking at blocks with MuggleWife and grabbibg the casual cache along the way.
This was a quick find today, semi-exposed and easily found.
I suspect the cache is not as it should be as I would rate this no more than 1.5 and not 4, I have found previous StaceV caches and always look forward to a challenge. It may need checking by the CO.
As always, thanks for your efforts StaceV.

12-Sep-13
Bit soggy tftc

03-Sep-13
TFTC Smile log is a bit wet
