It's now been over 3 months since our DNF visit, and over 5 months since the "Needs Maintenance" log, without any CO response. Time to go ?
Today we were targeting caches around Chatswood West and Lindfield. Had a look for this one, but no luck today. Found a very obvious hidey hole at GZ, but alas it was empty. TFTH.
Gk3 and GeoDad went for a short walk whilst Gk1 was playing touch footy at a nearby field. Thanks for this cache.
Current streak: 119
Cache no: 1133
Quick park and grab. Had paper with me so put in a log. TFTC

I spotted the cache from about 10 metres away. I opened it up and there was nothing inside! I assume the cache was the container with the orange lid, or else I looked at the wrong thing.

Today the T1 took me to killara station to chase a bit of blue sky and some caches
So I walked over here and found your colorful cache
Gave the log sheet a plastic bag to keep it dry

Hmm, strange. First could not find it despite having the right location. Then did find you (must be a man look). The container was empty
Well, sorry. About to go and then one of us spotted it. Covered over well again. It does need new log though. Tftc

Quick find in a strange little park - looks like someone decided more green space was needed, so didn't release one building block.
As mentioned in the previous log, the cache itself was empty. So I added a piece of paper as a replacement log and signed that.
Completed signing duties and replaced.

Found on a run to Sydney's Northern Suburbs with The Rats and Hoojar as The Rats pushes towards 10,000 finds.
We managed to find a variety of caches in and around the surburbs here. TFTC!

With The Rats closing in on his event to mark 10,000 finds, he asked steeba and I to accompany him on one last push to get closer to that number. The Northern Beaches of Sydney was our target
A quick suburban find.
Cheers

Out for a days caching in the Northern Suburbs with steeba and Hoojar. In an attempt to bolster my numbers prior to the 10k event we tackled a few heavily populated caching areas.
Having spent most of our day over on the coast it was a pleasant change to be back in the wooded jungle of suburbia. We still managed to grab a plethora of finds while in the area. A quick find here
Sorry for the generic log, it certainly doesn't detract from the cache.
Thanks

Found at 5:36pm. Haven't done many caches around this area, I walked over and made the find within a couple of minutes. A neat hide, SL TFTC.
Took a break between innings of the Dodgers-Diamondbacks baseball game to duck up here and retrieve this cache which certainly lives up to its name! Hope to make it home before the 7th inning stretch! SL

I'm pretty disappointed in myself for not spotting the hide sooner, but as it wasn't covered by bark or sticks I'm not going be too hard on myself.
Anyway, took the trackable (as I wasn't not sure how to get everything back into the cache) and signed the log. The previous log sign-ins looked a bit odd and don't seem to tie in with logged GCers so may have been muggled....
Left it as I found it.

Found it a couple of days ago and came back to leave a trackable we found in Adelaide.
After an awesome weekend in Sydney its time to head home to New Zealand, but not before scoring another cache near by my friends place, I had already managed to score a couple other caches. I had been to this area yesterday but there was this muggle lying on a bed thing in the middle of the trees, so thought I would attempt this on the way home, it wasn't log before I had the cache in hand, and then I found a travel bug here as well. Cool that will bug out with me to NZ. tftc
After parking the bikes nearby, Geoscoutdan and I walked up to GZ and immediately spotted the sneaky hiding spot. We forgot to bring any writing equipment, so we uploaded a photo in his log as evidence of our find TFTC
Took trackable. Made the easy find with geoleo6. Didnt have a pen so took a photo for proof. TFTC
Nice hide! Liked the hint. Well done first cache, CodyStorm. AM and I enjoyed finding this one on a rainy night, out to get another cache toward the 31 Days of Caching challenge. TFTC
Found whilst out with CJ whilst doing the 31 days of August challenge.
We've been wanting to get over here to do the nearby caches The description and clue were excellent. So many places to look but not many muggles walking by. CJ made the find using some good caching logic and we both soon had the cache in hand. We both were a little concerned about the exact location as the GPSr was jumping all over the place.
Anyway, it was a nice wet winter's evening to go out for caches. It was a nice location to do a walk around the area. Thanks codystorm585. Cool container. This one has been ticked off. SL TNLN TFTC

Nice quick find today while we were passing through the area for work nearby. We found close by parking and soon spotted the hide. Thanks for the cache codystorm585

We were in the area looking for a challenging cache (unsuccessfully), so decided we needed a find on the way home. We parked nearby, walked over to GZ, and quickly had CIH, as the container was exposed. After signing and replacing I made sure the rock (the only camo) was more effective in its role. TFTC
We felt a little exposed with all the houses looking on but all was quiet and, thankfully, it was a quick find. Nice container and love the "tell it like it is" cache name. SL, thanks codystorm585.
What a cute container. We found it quickly and took it to the safety of the car to sign the log before replacing it as found. TNLN TFTC
On the way to the Lane Cove CITO day I stopped in to get a couple of caches and this was one.
This was an easy find walked straight to it after parking around the corner. There was no bark or sticks covering it just the one rock.
Thanks to codystorm585 for this one.

A quick driveby . Had coords out a bit but the hide is obvious. TFTC

Well, the name said it all here. No troubles finding this one as I drove towards and parked right next to it.
21st find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. TFTC codystorm585.
This was found on our "Hurry up and get pprass to 9,999 caches" caching weekend. They are celebrating at an event in April so better be there before then! Covered by bark sticks and a rock????????????
Thanks for the cache
Cheers from Browngang.

Found at 8:56 AM on our "Get to 9,999 cache finds before the Myriads and Milestones event on 21 April" with Browngang. This was a GAFF1 find.
The cache was indeed covered by all of that stuff. Was interested to see that the container has survived as these types usually break down in the elements.
Thanks codystorm585.

Look. I'm very disappointed by the title of this cache. If you're going to give it away in the title, at least make it accurate. It should be called 'Covered by bark, sticks and two rocks'
Arrived just on school finishing time so just as well I had geodog. Bending down amongst the bark and sticks I'm sure all the muggle families thought I was being very environmental and removing his poop and not retrieving a cache. TFTC
Love the hiding place - out in plain view. Schools were chucking out so had to be careful not to be observed by kids walking home!

Today I was on a quest to reach 999 finds and this hide was fourth on my radar. Unfortunately, I had a DNF at "Out of Bounds". Luckily, this one made up for it!! The coordinates were very accurate and the hide was soon revealed. Thanks codystorm585 for your hide. It's nice to have an easy one occasionally.

Nice easy find for the kids. Found a bug, will take it on a journey. Left our signature smiley. TFTC
