This was our last cache of the day. What a cute container Smile TFTC.

I couldn’t find D… and it wasn’t until I looked at pictures after the fact that this is not new… turns out though it’s pretty easy to determine it anyway…

I used the car to get around though… I had limited time…

The hint came in very handy at GZ… and I was able to add my name to Karicka’s piece of waterproof paper…

Thanks NyletaM

Took the bike for this one. Found enough information to calculate a set of possible coordinates.
Plenty of signs of recent searches around GZ, soon uncovered the container.
Added a waterproof log sheet, this will last a little while.

Thank you for hiding

NyletaM I found your cache Walking BlueDior on 30/4/2023, 9:55 am. This is my find 5144 and find # 1 today. This was a frustrating multi for me. The field puzzle should of been easy and obvious but I made a couple of mistakes with the numbers. At home later checked my numbers and realised my mistake. Returned today for the final. Still took me a bit of searching to find the outer container. Claiming a find even though there is no logbook. Photo can be provided as proof. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

Nice, fairly easy puzzle to solve in a large suburban park. Some of the info I got in situ, other information I accessed elsewhere.

Lots of potential hiding spots at GZ. Found by Shazzar66. The outer container is still there plus the tether, but the inner cache plus log is missing. Needs maintenance. TFTC NyletaM

A lovely meet up with E Smiley for some caching on the Northside.
We parked the car and really enjoyed our walk around here.
we found all the information for the questions very quickly, except for one, which seems to have changed over the years. This was not a problem as the answer to this question is fairly obvious when one looks at what the coordinates need to be.
With a good set of numbers, we made our way back to GZ which was very close to where we had parked in the car.
Log signed and a lovely multi completed.
Thanks NyletaM

After I signed a challenge cache yesterday, targeting field puzzle caches became the new plan for today. It was a nice easy stroll around the park collecting the info and then with some good looking numbers I headed to GZ. I searched for a long time but came up empty so I sent out a PAF who helped narrow down the search area and I finally found the cache. I must have walked over it about 10 times!
Signed log and returned as found. Tftc NyletaM

This morning, I arose to the new 2022 year with the attendance of an event in Shorncliffe to see the sunrise (or rather, hidden by rain clouds). Despite the miserable morning, I had brought my kayak with me and headed down Nundah Creek solo to grab a few geocaches. After then drying off, it was a few stops in Sandgate and Deagon before returning home to hang out.
In the afternoon, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took a walk around Cabbage Tree Creek in Bridgeman Downs, where we made a good circuit from Coolabah Crescent Park, Tallowood Place Park, and Goldberg Place Park.

With a new January field puzzle attribute challenge getting published earlier in the day, I suggested to [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) that whilst the afternoon's rain diminished, that we use this multi-cache as an objective to walk around this park.
I didn't read up on this multi-cache too much, other than there didn't appear to be too much detail in the description, thus my initial reaction was that there was something at the posted coordinates. But I wasn't understanding all of the pre-loaded waypoints. I ended up resolving my initial confusion by finding the required questions embedded within each waypoint; something that is obvious on the website, but not in the geocaching app. I would also suggest that the posted coordinates change to something more meaningful, like Waypoint 1's coordinates etc., as they would have had me walk out in the water pooled grassy area.

With all the rain that has fallen in recent days, it was very wet in this park, and there were a few occasions that we had to walk around the path where water had gathered, and tip-toed our way around grass-lakes. But otherwise, we managed to follow the waypoints and gather the answers accordingly. Our only issue was the *Wooden Bridge* at **Q3**, of which as others have pointed out, the bridge has been upgraded to a steel structure, and as such, there are no longer any numbers to be found there, but it didn't take too much effort at assuming what number that would be.

Once we completed the seven waypoints, we walked past GZ, where I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly since I caught sight of the tether. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and I did enjoy the theme of the final container. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I initially thought the hint was referring to the tree type that was nearby too. Thanks NyletaM for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Catching up on some logging from the weekend. I had a lovely walk around the park to obtain the necessary information. Had a little issue with the wooden bridge which isn’t actually wooden but was replaced in 2020. The necessary number was obvious though.
I did several searches of GZ before a PAF to confirm my coordinates. I gentle nudge & I hit pay dirt. Found 28/8/21 TFTC

Out with geofriends (Snickersallan, RoddyC, hatzofff, GS1947 and Imbunda) again today to finish off finding the Drumbeat Series as well as other caches along the way.

Interesting multi and you'd be surprised how many balls we find in the bush where dogs can't find them. This was a great walk in the park gathering the numbers. Not sure what to expect at GZ. Checked around until we figured out where to find it.
SL then returned as found.

Picking up a few smiles continuing in the area for some Drum Beat caches. Out with RoddyC Patrol14 snickersallan GS1947 imbunda (SPRIGH Team). Lovely walk out and about.

It appears that a new bridge has been installed since this multi was set up. CO might like to check the asset number.

Final day working at finding the Drumbeat and associated caches.

Great multi - gets a Fav. We were confused ar the final WP. Imbunda and I skipped ahead and walked around this one a dozen times until the others arrived. THEN was saw the number! DOH!

At GZ, the hint made sense, but it still took a bit of a hunt to find the cache in its unexpected location.

Log signed and cache replaced as found on August 28, 2021. TFTC, NyletaM

Third trip up to finish the beaut Drum geoart series, find solved puzzles and a few traditionals with geo friends patrol14, Imbunda, hatzofff, grannysmith1947 & RoddyC. Enjoyed venturing into so many different suburbs today, some for the very first time.
Beautiful area around here and after a little hiccup we were on our way to GZ. Of course we figured out the hint but it still took us some time to find the sneaky hide, thanks CO.

Out for a walk under our current covid restrictions and decided to grab this one whilst in the area. Not realising there were waypoints posted, I pointed at the posted coordinates looking in many directions as to what might be the field puzzle.

Okay okay. It’s been a while since I’ve done a multi

Having realised the waypoints, the coordinates came quickly.

At GZ the hint helped in more than one way, although it was only after I came across the cache did I realise there was more than one connection. If it wasn’t for the tether I wouldn’t have spotted the cache!

After removing not one but two cache guardians, the log was signed as best it could be (damp) and off we went.

Thanks for a little fun during lockdown!

After a walk up and down the park, the GPS led me to one corner where, considering the hint, I made a beeline for a particular spot and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache

Friday. Managed to get numbers for this one whilst we had been out riding our bikes a couple of weeks ago (collecting some Drum Series caches). Had no time to dive in and claim a find on this one though as we were on a mission. We went in for the grab on this one today whilst on a hunt to grab some unfound solved puzzle caches. We headed off to a very likely looking tree to start off with, but then my arrow kept pointing 'over there'. Headed over but didn’t see anything first up, so headed back to where we were, as it really did look good. After a quick search, and still not finding it, I checked my phone which was having trouble settling, but in the end, pointed right back to where it said I should have been first up, so we headed back and VOILA! There be the cache!

Just didn’t use geo-eyes first time round. With the log signed - we noted that it has been almost a year since last found, we replaced as found and headed off. The log is fairly damp, so we could only put 5/3 and our initials on the piece of paper. We didn’t have anything on hand to add to the container to supplement the current log, so might possibly need a look in by the CO to check that this one has a dry log. Other than that, this was a lovely cache find today. Awarding a FP for the container

This was the 3rd of 15 caches found on this outing.

Thanks ***NyletaM*** for showing us this place Razz

Well that took longer than it should have

Ran the course obtained all the numbers and headed off to gz hmm dug around and looked nothing
Ran the numbers again and yep that’s it. Dug around some more still nothing hmm I’ll check with a previous finder. Yep it’s a match. Hmm back in I go no doing an in-depth clean. Now the swearing starts. Ok let’s go out check with gps again. Huh. It’s now saying a different tree REALLY.
Walking up to the new tree found it in a second , gees

Cache needs some maintenance a nice design just the same.

Came and did the multi this afternoon. Hubby was jealous that we don’t live near such a good park for our dog. The cache is missing its closure and has no log. Went back to the car and found a scrap of paper to pop in, sadly no ziplock bag so no doubt it’ll be yuk before long.

Lovely dog park and we got to pat two gorgeous beagles along the way. Unfortunately the cache is open to the weather and the log book is gone. TFTC

Out for a quick pedal around on Evie to try and find some caches this morning. Smile

I spied quite a few hounds while I was doing this one. None at the dog park though. Wink

A very short hunt at GZ to located this nicely themed cache. [^]

Out for the day with nikid1. After we'd walked around this lovely area collecting the required information we decided to do the other multi before heading to the final as we thought we would have more trouble with that one, turns out we were wrong!
After making our way to GZ & searching fruitlessly for quite a while we resorted to reading past logs. Here we discovered a little snippet of information that gave focus to our search & Nic made the find of the clever cache container - yey!!
Thanks for the nice walk, fun multi & successful search NyletaM

21-Feb-19
Walked around with KerriMG finding all the required information. We thought looking at the DT rating this was going to be a quick easy find but no it was not. Finally I spotted something that looked promising and yippee there was the dog’s lost toy. Quite a few ants have decided to make this home and the log was damp but still signable (is that a word?).
Thanks NyletaM that was fun

I’m sure there was once a time when you would look out the window and see rain on a caching day and just curse and stay in. It hasn’t been clinically proven yet, but I think the Woodyrothwell brains have deteriorated to the point whereby rain and mud just add to the challenge.

We had some serious puddles and pools of water to skip through and that just meant that our shoes were going to change from moistly uncomfortable to downright soggy. I’m not sure there is such a thing as being half-wet, nor would I admit to it. Push on!

We tried a bit of tip-toeing through the tulips and finally we had some coordinates and the search began. The rain had curbed our enthusiasm because neither of us wanted to dig our hands through the mass of soggy leaves. The rain really picked up so we made a PAF to 4ando. There was some intel come through but once the rain got harder I decided to call it off.

We were sitting in the car admiring how quickly the smell had changed from old coffee cup to wet dog. We were just about to leave when a reverse PAF came through with a little bit more information. Mrs Woodyrothwell said bugger this, we are going back into the rain to find this thing. It’s OK for her, it’s my car that is going to get wet and muddy.

In the pissing down rain, we started another 15 minute systematic approach based on what we knew. Time passes so much more slowly when you are looking for a cache in the rain. Finally Mrs Woodyrothwell got a bit more excited than usual and came up with the find. Persistence (and help) paid off and I hope she is this excited when I need her help to clean the carpet in my car. tftc

It's Mother's Day today, so I managed to guilt the family (Geohubby , Miss14 and Billy the geopooch ) into coming for a walk with me to find this multi. I had searched for it once before when I'd first started caching, but had had no luck ️, especially not helped by the huge amount of garden waste that had been dumped in the area . I decided to visit each of the waypoints again to recheck the numbers, so with Billy leading the way, we had a lovely walk in the sunshine ️ It didn't take us long to get some good coordinates and then the real search started. OMG! There are so many places for a cache to be hiding! Surprised. After 15 minutes, I wasn't feeling the love, but nothing can keep a tenacious Jack Russell down. I had just started to poke around in a promising little spot, when Billy came over looking very interested. You wouldn't believe it, there was the cache. Totally not what I expected. I was very relieved to find this one. TFTC NyletaM and for my Mother's Day adventure Big Grin

Out today with Bristracker again trying to pick up a variety of caches, especially those with high point values for the planetary pursuit challenge. Yesterday we got the waypoints and went to GZ and looked for quite a while to no avail. Back home, I looked through the logs and realised where the cache was likely to be. So we were back again today searching keenly until I uncovered the cache. Very apt. Very happy to actually find it and sign the log. TFTC

08-Apr-18
Back today to hunt for this one - it’s worth 15 points today - armed with big stick to root around in the mosquito shade. Zacgyver found it where I had already looked so that tells you how determined he is. Really, sometimes he’s like a dog with a bone when he won’t give (it) up. Great cache-easy to say now we’ve found it.

07-Apr-18
We spent quite a bit of time here, read the previous logs, and believing we had the Hint right, but without success. Will contact CO to check if we were in the right place.

27-Dec-17
On our walk this morning we decided to go for a bike ride later on in the day, oh that’s right Mrs 4ando’s bike is corrupted from the last geo-bash on the bikes. We loaded the bike in the back of the car and hello 99 bikes. The bikeman was disgusted with us, where on earth has this bike been? We informed him of some of its adventures and he was less then impressed and told us he will deal with us on the weekend, he needs to get a few bikes built for us to come and have a look at, it’s time for a proper mountain bike.

The old one has a missing bell, most of the reflectors have fallen off, the stand is just hanging on, the brakes were busted on the last ride and there is zero suspension left, got our money’s worth!

We went around to my mum’s house and took her bike, we were given a warning of ‘don’t make it look like yours’, no of course not, I’ll stick to the concrete paths…after we saw how pristine and unused it was, well it had to be taken off the concrete and into the mud a bit, this thing needed to be christened.

We used the bikes to ride around and gather the answers here. We could find no cache, so we PAF and it seems we are no where near where we need to be. Back on the bikes, all our answers are correct, what have we done. Oh dear, it was miss communication between the pair of us and a letter was lost in translation.

We headed to the new area for our search, it didn’t help when obviously a local neighbour had decided to dump all the palm tree leaves in here, made it a tad more difficult. We searched, we dug, we went over everything with a fine tooth comb and finally after two and half hours we had it!!!

Awesome hide and we are leaving a FP for the hide and a great afternoon. As we tried to get the log out it started to fall apart, so we added a new log and rehid it again, all good with this cache. We were so excited at having made the find we thought Christmas had come again…

We've had this cache on the list for a while as it was a hidden date we needed.
We parked and walked to the waypoints and then thought we'd been very clever, but we looked and looked and PAF and looked some more and then when Rhobo suggested we extend our search area and finally I spied a tether! Not the container we were expecting.

28-Mar-17
Out again today with Wombles and co, and this one and been on our joint to do hitlist for a little while and we started with this one for the day of cleaning up certain hitlist caches. This was a great lil multi to start the day and even though it was fairly easy getting each waypoint the gz was more difficult I think we spent over an hour looking for it as the coords were off. We were looking everywhere and used a Paf but they couldnt remember where it was exactly so I eventually said lets go down this way and check it out and then finally Mrs Wombles spotted something geo related and next second we had cache in hand. TFTC Smile

25-Feb-17
Wow. Realised I'd failed to get this one in 2011. Lots of water under the physical and metaphorical bridges since then!
Solved without difficulty, but took a little longer to come up with the goods. Great little find there!
Thanks Nyleta!

loved everything about this multi. from the lovely walk around this park with bear0503 boonoyes and rusty my geodog to gathering info and to working out coords. then to the fantastic and clever cache. we really enjoyed this thankyou for this great multi. i will definitely give it a fp .

13-Aug-16
Went for an early walk to grab this multi and earn a souvenir Big Grin. Found the last 2 WPs first as I was driving straight by, then parked further up and collected the rest of the info.

I was soon doing some calcs, and GZ was close by. My geosenses were telling me it was at a certain spot, but some searching didn't reveal anything. Tried a couple of other spots before returning and making the find.

This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #2681. Thanks **NyletaM** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

22-Jun-16
I had come to the park to find a couple of caches nearby but I could see much debris and fences destroyed from the recent storms. I carried all around the WP's and was a little concerned I would not find it. I got to the GZ and checked out the possible spot. A little digging and I found one part of the container. Glad to see it was tethered but no log book. Then I looked a feet feet away and lo and behold there was the second part! It had survived the recent storms and it was all dry inside! Replaced the two back together and ready for the next finder. TFTC NyletaM

15-Apr-16
I started gathering coordinates yesterday as I went through the waypoints, but I ran out of time as I needed to pick up Wallabette from school. This morning after dropping her off at school, I finished the last two waypoints and quickly made my way to the final location. I soon found the container and signed log. A nice tribute to some lovely canines. Too bad our terrier-mix Belle wasn't with me today. She would have had a blast finding this cache. TFTC NyletaM.

I missed the last waypoint and there was s lot of ground cover, but the hint stopped this from being a disappointment. Delightful park. TFTC.

17-Mar-16
I had attempted this multi once before, but, with limited time that day, must have gotten a number wrong in my rush, as I didnt find the cache that day. With more time to spare today, I again wandered along gathering the required information. This time, my calculations put me in a different spot. Once there, I quickly located the cache and signed the log. I enjoyed both my walks through this green area. I am giving this cache a FP. TFTC

19-Jan-16
I left home early this morning to do another cache but ran into a bit of trouble so I looked at my map and decided to do this one instead.

I collected all the information and sat down on a nearby seat to work out the answer. Hmmmm, one of these numbers doesn't look at all right. I was able to work out the final coordinates anyway and set off to find the cache. Arriving at ground zero I immediately spied something that looked like a tether point but there was nothing attached to it. Oh dear, this doesn't look good. I searched around a bit and found the remains of a pencil nearby and pretty much concluded it was gone.

I don't know why but I still didn't give up. I looked around a bit more and went back out in the open and read the previous logs. I then came back in for some more searching and spotted something else. Could it be?.... Yes, the cache is still here and intact. Big Grin The outer contact was chock full of ants that had made a nest in it so I emptied them out as much as I could. The inner container is fine and the logsheet is clean and dry. I very happily added my name and headed home for a late breakfast.

09-Jul-15
I had targeted the area around here to find a few caches while I was had some spare time and I had planned to complete this cache and find the other couple in the park while I was here.

I started at WP7 and worked my way back to the start and picking up the other couple of caches on the way.

After I had all the information written on my hand I then had to work out the final. The answer i finished with seemed reassemble so I headed there.

I wondered around for a while and then read back through the previous logs and decided that I had to change the elevation that I was searching and son had the cache in hand. It had come adrift from the rest of the hide so I signed it and put it all back together again.

A lovely multi which deserves a fav point.

TFTC.

I had DNFed thiss one a long time ago and was in the area today to give it another go. Came up with what looked like the same coords as last time, except this time I actually found something at GZ. TFTC

Headed out determined to solve NyletaM's cache today after putting it off for a while. Solved all waypoints fairly quickly but could not find a clue that suggested there was a waypoint "C", making solving the final coordinates a little tricky. Ducked home for a quick cuppa and to check with EngPhil and was advised there was a question for "C", despite Geocaching Lite app not showing it. Checked geocaching website and confirme missing clue so headed back out to complete our mission. Hit GZ quickly and found cache easily and safely, which we weren't sure we would after recent flooding in the area. TFTC NyletaM! Smile

First we went out for a little walk and found most of the waypoints, except for one we didn't realise we were missing, then went home and had some morning tea before heading out to find our missing waypoint and finish the cache. TFTC

I wanted to stay on the swings for ever. And Daddy went away without me [ed: yeah, right]. And we couldn't find the cache, there was a muggle. We went away and did something else and then came back. Thank you for the cache!

09-Aug-14
We couldn't find it. There was some muggles. So we headed off to a different cache. And then another cache. With bugs and spiders. But we didn't find it. We came back and found Aunty Ny's -- which is Shelley's sister. Thank you for the cache.

Find #1272 at 14:40 with MissGeosie and MissSuzie.

I was lucky enough to know Blue and Dior, so I really should have done this tribute to them and their lovely human a very long time ago. Today, we decided it was Time.

The kids and I pulled up at the designated spot and set about our task.

MissGeosie enjoyed finding the answers to each question along the way [^]

At about waypoint 6 I realised we'd missed "C" somehow. Hmm, only 7 waypoints, but 8 clues.

Oh, I see. Yeah, that was silly. We could walk all the way back.. but on the other hand, I'm pretty sure I remember the answer to that one anyway, so let's keep going.

At waypoint 7 there were kid muggles playing in the playground, but MissGeosie and MissSuzie gave me perfect cover to search and find the clue. [^]

After a short play, we headed off to GZ.

Wouldn't you believe it, this whole park is empty... except for the muggle practicing his 100m sprints right beside GZ [v]

We decided to go pick up the other cache in this park and hope he was gone by the time we returned.

As that one became an epic hunt in its own right, by the time we got back here, the muggle was gone and we had the place to ourselves. The GPS pointed to a likely feature and the cache was in our hands within seconds. Yup, that's what I'd expected to find here. The "camo" has separated from the cache but it doesn't seem to be much of a problem.

Thanks for the cache, NyletaM. Smile A great walk in the park with great clues is well worthy of the favourite point I am giving it. [^]

Lovely walk with black Labrador. Good hide. Added sheet to log.

A pleasant wander about this morning with minimal interference from mutts and muggles. It still took a bit of finding, so I am glad I can mark it as found. TFTC

23-May-14
After a couple of finds nearby, I figured I would just have time for this cache if I was speedy. I sat on a bench and perused the info, occasionally distracted by the action within the dogpark where it seemed some owners needed to either do a lot of yelling or otherwise forcibly restrain their beasts. Yes, I'm not big on dogs and dogparks but of course have visited a few over the years for obvious reasons. I guess little friendly dogs are OK!
Anyway, thanks for a nice easy wander around. I had to use my hand to record notes, but they stuck. Soon I was at the bench deciphering my scribbles, and striding off to the GZ. Hmm, seems wrong. Yep, I included a faulty digit. A little further away, I had memories of a certain nasty acorn, but after reading the hint, I got down and dirty and thankfully grabbed the log holder where all is OK. I then found the log holder-holder which made sense and replaced all. TFTC and a nice wander with not too many dogs for me!

I remember when I first tried this one, I spent ages trying to find it. Came back today to try again. After a good search and much rooting around I finally found it. Woohoo It's a well hidden little bugger, good to get it checked off. TFTC

I have wanted to do this multi for such a long time given it's reasonably close to home. So today was the day. Made my way to the WPs and collected the needed information. Sat down at the table near the last wp and worked out the finals. Punched the numbers in to Garmin and off I went.

Searched for a bit and wasn't sure if I was in the right spot, but went out to check the co-ords again and came to what ended up being the right spot. Found the well designed cache and signed the damp log.

Thanks NyletaM for a fun cache.

Out and about with Net88 and Angela minus Dave, we had just had a bit of a bush bashing adventure and were looking forward to wandering around in open fields. After collecting all the necessary WP information, a bit of team work and we had nutted out the final coords. Once at GZ it took a bit of a search but Angela finally came up with the well hidden, unusual cache.

Found this cache whilst out with Nyssaflutterby and Angela-Dave. We headed around the park collecting the information we needed and before long we had everything we needed. We sat down on the bench and sorted out the right numbers. We were off across the park to GZ and soon were standing in the middle of a ring of likely places. We started searching and within a few minutes Angela had come up with the cache. We signed the wet logbook and replaced the cache. Thanks for the cache NyletaM

Net, Nyssa and Me on another whirlwind adventure! And it's SO darn hot! Working together we grabbed the answers to the waypoints and off to find the cache!! Over and under and round and round. Could we find the cache, no! Ok. Up the tree? Nope. It's only 1 1/2 stars. Ok. Stick time! I feel like a scrub turkey scratching in the bush! Could this be it? Well, it's tied on! It must be!! Awesome! Interesting container! TFTC

Got all the the clues and calculated the final waypoint. Looked like the spot as I could see lots of looking evidence and trampling. Couldn't find it so looked at the clue. I'm reading the paper but just not seeing the chew toy! Will have to come back with more eyes.

This cache is on my "inside 10km" list, and I've had a couple of looks at it but never had the time to take the walk before when I've been in the area.Today I set off armed with both my GPSr and smart phone. Switching between apps whilst searching for clues was fun, and I eventually found all the details. A bit of number crunching and I had my GZ, but here the fun stopped Sad I was very quickly reminded how difficult finding this CO's caches has been. After half an hour I gave up and made a PAF which confirmed my GZ, but I still couldn't get it. So another PAF happened before I stumbled on the cache Twisted As usual a very tricky hide. TFTC, NyletaM.

Nice walk through the park here on a cool, cloudy day. Nobody about, so made it easy to get all the things we needed, and then we found the cache after a bit of a search around. I enjoyed this cache, quite a nice area around here that I had never been to before. TFTC NyletaM.

Back today after solving that "hard" cache , Mohs, nearby. With final coordinates in hand from my previous visit, and having read the logs thoroughly and picked up a tip, this one only took me a minute or so to sniff out.

Certain I looked right there last time. Oh well. TFTC NyletaM. Always a good day when I make one of yours a smilie!

My confidence was shattered after another knitting attempt, so I thought I'd come here, just to add a bit of salt to the wound. Wandered around and collected the clues.

Made a silly error in entering the coordinates into the GPS, which had me questioning one the answers, when GZ turned out to be out in the open. Wandered all the way back and checked the clue, found it was right and then realised my mistake. Off to my new GZ, which matched the clue nicely.

True to form I found nothing. However I've now read the logs and will return soon. Have just asked Santa for some more pins for that doll.

I actually toured around the park when this one was disabled, and I waited till it was enabled again, so this morning it was just down to searching for the end prize.
It took me about 15 minutes searching as the trees and wind played havoc with the GPS.
Great little multi.
Enjoyed it.

Sorry Ministro! Been a ridiculous few months of specialists and therapy with the kids. But that is no excuse, I'll get my sorry self out there with a new container post haste.

=) I'm only seeing that the cache is temp disabled now I'm logging as the GPX file has been in my GPS for a while, I was in the area completing some much needed Multi caches and attempted this one none the wiser, Really was a great place to be on a Sunday afternoon with a few dog walkers getting out and about with their pooches and some great Autumn weather to enjoy, This park is great for a cache and this multi made for a good tour of this beautiful area, all waypoints were found and entered and had me at a probable GZ , cache was found and the condition of the it is really not bad at all, everything was dry and very much usable although one part of the container may need a touch of glue... really not a problem at all ... Thanks for a very enjoyable Multi NyletaM =)

22/04/12 Find #863

I was out on the bike today and took a ride around the parks here to obtain all the required information. After collecting all of the information from the waypoints, I sat down to work out the final location for the cache. It seems that I had one of the waypoints information incorrect, and I had to adjust a number to make it work. I didnt have to go back to the waypoint to recalculate, and I had a workable set of coordinates.

I had a little bit of GPS bounce a the final GZ, and after checking the hint, I determined the most likely location for the cache. After a bit of search i managed to locate the well hidden cache.
The cache was in need of a bit of TLC, as water had innundated the cache container, however the log was dry. (I have advised NyletaM of the requirement for a little maintenance.

Thanks for the well constructed multi, it was an enjoyable morning ride round the park, and the hide itself was well crafted, and suited the cache perfectly.

Thanks for the cache NyletaM Smile

It was actually a bit warm today for a walk without water, but for a smiley, much may be endured [:p]. Quite a few dog lovers in the area, and unfortunately for me, quite a few spiders at GZ! Happily, it wasn't long before we turned up the cache, though it was quite wet, and slightly broken. Ducked out again before a roving dogwalker came past. TFTC, NyletaM. =^.^=

Nice walk around the parks. pretty straightforward and well thought out if you came via road, unfortunately we were on foot and we had to do some looping to get back onto our walking track. Clever little cache which was itself wet but the log was very dry.

Found with Bedmaker.
It was nice and quiet in the park today. We enjoyed our walk through the area gathering all of the information and having a play on some of the equipment.
After reading some of the logs we thought this may have taken us a while to locate but BM found it quite quickly.
Many thanks for this multi NyletaM

Found with Tassiegirl on a days caching run in the area.
We found all the info and enjoyed the walk around gathering it from some fun things.
With a gz calculated we headed off to the spot.
Saw a likely area nd read a fe logs to see if they could narrow it down.
One particular one helped and with that the cache was soon found.
Thanks for the walk and the cache.

1107 - A great little multi which highlights this lovely park to its full potential. We love simple but fun multi's like this one - thanks for organising it NyletaM. It was being well used this afternoon with heaps of dogs being walked and people moving about and even using the exercise equipment. Found the final cache in good condition at 3:52pm.

A lovely walk along the paths of this park. The kids ran ahead to each waypoint and tried out all the exercise equipment along the way too. The cache was found after a bit of a hunt. Happy to report it is safe and dry. TFTC

Drat! Razz Got me some waypoints, and some tasty co-ordinates, and a GZ that was relevant to the clue... but no find! Sad
I'll try again soon Smile

True to NyletaM's and my track record this was never going to be easy. Still not sure how you got the number you obviously got at one of the waypoints, but the hint certainly helped me backtrack a bit. And that left me on top of the exact spot I reckon it had to be at ... but nada. widen search. nada. rethink the clue? nada. Whatabout changing some of the numbers? nada. Back to where I started. still nada.

PAF. Nope, no immediate knowledge from them either (and they've signed the log? hmmmmm). OK, back to the preferred GZ. nada ... Oh, what's that? I looked there didn't I? at least twice in the past hour. And there she is. All nice, safe and dry, and yes, this is a typical NyletaM cache (which gives almost nothing away I know).

We must never meet NyletaM - I think your brain and mine must be like anti-matter equivalents - the world might end if we get too close or something. I just can't seem to click to your wavelength. But that said, I did enjoy the walk, and the shade was welcomed no matter for what reason I sat there so long.

I am the proud owner of another NyletaM smiley. That makes my day!

The most puzzling bit of this one was finding the cache. I spent quite a while poking around with my tried and tested, bamboo cache detector. Started working the area for the third or was it thirtyth time and suddenly the cache let out a yell Surprised, I jumped Red Face, then signed the log [^]. Never found one of these before. Nice job too, on not putting it where I thought it should have been Big Grin.

Collected all the clues and enjoyed the stroll around the area, then headed over to GZ. Searched and searched and searched and then shifted areas but still no luck. Sure we were in the right spot the first time, we made a phone call which confirmed we were looking in the right area. After a decent amount of excavation, we finally managed to locate the well hidden cache! Thanks NyletaM

Well I didn't spot Blue or Dior but I must have encountered all their friends!! Honestly I have never encountered so many dogs of all shapes and sizes in one area...truly amazing.

Enough of that...back to the cache....found all the waypoints and answers without incident. I was fortunate to find a seat in the shade where I enjoyed afternoon tea whilst working gz.

Found the cache dry and in good condition.

Thanks to NyletaM for the cache and the introduction to this lovely spot Smile

I had been a slacker at the caching rate recently - so I decided to have a look at this one on the way home.

The afternoon was idyllic for it. The temperature was good and the park only had a few people in it. I was able to trapse around and collect the clues without being hindered. Everything worked fine for me (maybe I should have reader the first WP question a bit closer!) and I had a set of possible co-ordinates.

I neared the GZ and set about the hunt. Holy frijoles - there are some spiders in there when it gets dark Razz Lucky I am not arachnophobic or anything [8)]

I checked a few areas that didn't container eight-legged friends and then noticed something. Sure enough - it was the clever cache container. The container and log seemed in good order.

I am giving this one a favourite because the cache was simple (just the way a Fangsoki likes it Razz), there was a distinct lack of muggles, it was a pleasant park, and I enjoyed the container at the end. Good job, NyletaM. TFTC Smile

The closest cache to home will always challenge you and play with your mind in some way or the other.Twisted This cache lived up to that in every way. Yesterday was a rather electrifying experience looking for the information at the waypoints as the unusual early morning storm triggered lightning bolts around me. Surprised I had no option but to abandon my caching due to the increasing rain at the time and because i was just not able to punch in the final coordinates with very foggy eyeglasses because of the conditions. [:(!]

The ride home (all 4 km) was to say the least a “wet experience”.Sad

Today was the time to grab the cache.Razz While I did make the find fairly quickly that was because of pure luck.Surprised I’m certain if I had been able to try looking at GZ in yesterday’s rain it is more than likely I would have taken much longer. More likely it could have been a DNF.Twisted

I’m happy to report the cache is safe and sound and in a dry condition. I think you may need a good sniffer dog to help you find this cahce unless you have a lucky first place you look moment like I did.

Now - on to the next closest cache to home. Oh no not something Ivy Surprised

08-Oct-11
I must check the weather radar before going out on the geo-cycle.Red Face I had no sooner started on the collection of information for the multi when the first nearby lightning strike occurred.Surprised Although I persisted and collected all the required information it was now raining so hard I could no longer read the numbers on my GPS through my foggy glasses.Twisted[:(!]

A very wet ride home finished off my morning.Sad I’ll be back to seek the final location some time soon.
