Climbing is the easy part, only found the 1st waypoint. Was going to do the other multi but guessed it would be similiar to this one. This cache hasn't been found in over 12 months.
The clues did not make sense. Did find an initial waypoint however after that the clues were useless. Given the dangers of climbing around rock cliffs, instructions should be clearer to prevent injuries.
Thanks astrohiker for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Caching day with the gang - Kapelula, Meme28 and the geokids. Started with a cito and then moved on to caches we needed. All finds were found in good condition.
Enjoyed completing this multi whilst doing the CITO
Enjoyed completing this multi whilst doing the CITO
I did the honours heading up to the top after the others did the hard work. Nice views from up here, see attached. Cheers astrohiker!
Out and about grabbing a few joint ftfs along the way to a Cito event, managed a few multis as wellThanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining their caches ??
A good group cache. Claimed the waypoints whilst doing a CITO of the area which the council appears to have done a bit of a cleanup since I was last here and once the CITO ahead finished claimed the finds. Thanks astrohiker.
Thank you! Team effort while in the area for a CITO. Enjoyed getting to some of the waypoints.
Found as a team effort during the CITO event nearby. Cleaned up some rubbish as we got onto the various levels. Great day for it with the rain holding off. Thank you for the cache astrohiker.
I hope you all enjoyed this cache. I was planning to put a rope dangling from the top but I have been ill since Monday. A cold & bad cough. Thanks everyone.
Finally found it after two years of coming back and not finding clues. Loved this little trek and really taken back by how nice and secluded this secret spot is. Felt just like lara croft getting this with geomum. Thanks for the cache, a great find!!
My first multi cache. Destination of second waypoint is tricky to find when the grass is long. Really enjoyed this one.
Solved the rubik's cubes for the next person.

This was a must have cache to fill a box in my D/T grid. TomTom has been nagging me for ages. I finished nightshift this morning went for the usual team wind down brekkie and came to the cache.
OMG the flies! Nets left at home so they were a constant pest.
The grass is very long so I was very wary of snakes but the closest I got to seeing one was a shed skin under a rock at WP3
I will admit that I thought WP4 was the cache location given that it was an ideal hiding place but a short search found the tag (not over the edge but close enough).
The final was found and I claimed the pathtag thank you.
As a soldier all the climbing came easy to me (back then), but those years have taken a toll on my knees and I struggled today, I kept pushing up and forward to the goal, going down would have been harder on them and me.
This cache gets a fav. Thanks for maintaining it Astrohiker.

Was out riding the Goat farm with the kids, pulled into the quarry with the hope of a find
Made our way up to the quarry, but got held up at Wp4. With the GPRS sendings me over the edge the kids started to freak out so we made our wayback down
More then likely try again on our next ride at the Goat Farm

Just been up to do some maintenance on this fun multi after the fire of recent. I did some cito but had to leave some bags behind. Someone left a tent there from last night. I'll see if it is still there when I go back for more CITO. Cheers.
got stuck at stafe three because a fire has burned through the area and there was no sign of a tag on the log or stump so CO might need to check this
You beauty. Took three goes to get this great multi sorted.
The first visit was very short as one of the kids managed to come to grief before we had even found WP1.
The second visit (which should have had a DNF log - oops) resulted in WP1 and 2 being found, but WP3 being a major stumbling point. The description said it was a tree tag, but there was no tree, only a stump and a fallen tree log. I searched these several times and even went back to WP2 to check I had the correct coords to no avail.
Turned up again today with misgivings, checked the coords at WP2 again and then arrived at WP3. This time managed to find the tag without trouble and then to my relief, raced through the last waypoint and made an easy find at the final. Giddy up.
A memorable multi deserving of a favourite. A shame it doesn't get more traffic. TFTC astrohiker.

After bumping into Astrohiker at another location and a suggestion to crack this one geo son and I headed up here, found the first waypoint and then focused on the next one until Mother Nature had her say and opened the clouds. Attempt two..... geo son and I came back and located the second way point before again, Mother Nature intervened, this time getting down was a little faster as I slid on my backside (off course unintentionally, one slip of the shoe and down I went) but don't worry I was fine, I just about wet myself laughing!! Third attempt with partner in crime (hubby) and we set our sights on claiming this smiley, well happy to say WE GOT IT. Thank you Astrohiker for this cache, loved the challenge !!
PS took the dinosaur trackable and will have our grandson help to move him on his mission

The inventory says a ladybug trackable is inside, however it was not there but we did retrieve the t-Rex which wasn't listed in the inventory

Well I've had this cache on my radar for several years now. Working in Midland means it's only just around the corner, but for some reason I just never made it up here ... until today.
Was a little concerned reading the prior logs that this could be quite a challenge but in the end it was quite straight forward. Found all wp's in 2min or less (wp2 took by far the longest). The path up from wp4 to the final was a little hairy but manageable.
Great views from the final and a perfect cache to hit a personal milestone on. Love these types of caches. TFTC.

At a meet and greet in greenmount so off with rapidash, oohyeh, skippy43 and redlipsandunicorns. Everyonevwanted this one so I just followed the pack. Great sunday morning climb tftc
What a way to spend a Sunday morning. We definitely found our 30 today. Great views and a fantastic climb. TFTC
A beautiful day for a clamber up the quarry walls to the final. A favourite point from us. TFTC
Cool series! A bit of exercise but clever hides. Was fun during Greenmount Event. Geodog loved it too!
Awsome cache. Heaps of fun clambering up and over the rocks got a little wet from the grass though
Found during the event. We took our muggle Kiwi friends and they were most impressed. Thanks to the young cashiers who helped us old folks up the difficult parts. Loved the experience on this beautiful morning. TFTC a favourite.
Went with a few cachers during the Greenmount Event which worked out well, as we helped each other up rocks.
Not an easy climb at times!
Great view at the top though so thanks for the cache astrohiker.

After the nearby 'Greenmount Event' hhheddy and I had a go at this interesting multi. Completed in about 30 minutes with some reasonably challenging rock climbing. I used to be a fan of TombRaider back in the day and could have done with some her moves this morning.
Found all the waypoints and the final without issue and took a much more sedate path back to the car.
astrohiker I found your cache at 11:09am, this was the 2nd of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2125. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Whilst at the Green Mount Event it was decided we would do this Multi. Myself, Skippy 46,redlipsandunicorns,RAPIDASH and awesomefamily all did the climb. A big thankyou to RAPIDASH for pushing me up by my backside a few times lol. A fun multi to do and great views from up the top. A fav point for this one TFTC astrohiker
Found it a couple of other cachers while attending the event in the quarry. Really liked the location and the weather was also beautiful, TFTH.
Hi guys. I left myself a note to check if the event was on this weekend and I didn`t check it out. Was flat out at work filling in for our driver who was on holidays last week plus doing my own work on the press. I didn`t get around to checking the Geocaching site. I had a stack of stuff I bought to go into my Lara Crofts Tombraider 3 Geocache and a bigger container too. Sorry there was not much in it. Only recently I added an extra stage to the multi. Hope you enjoyed the event & am really sorry I missed it.
As if it wasn't already going to be a difficult climb over varying terrains, geo-hubby and Mr iluvtrekking did their usual thing of making it harder, dragging other unsuspecting cachers along in their wake. Still they got there in the end with a lot of huffing, puffing and laughs in the process. Thanks astrohiker for a great multi - glad you got a few more 'runs on the scoreboard'.
On my way to the Greenmount event today I bumped into Robroy_co who had started working their way around this multi. I decided to join up with them, found one of the co-ordinates and make the trek all the way to the final destination with the awesome views. This is such a cool place to hide a geocache and I really enjoyed walking around this area today. Thanks for this experience astrohiker and I'm glad a lot of geocachers were able also do this multi today. Good work!!
Found it while attending the Greenmount Event . The kids loved to climb in the quarry.

We also attended the Greenmount Event today and were lucky enough to experience your multi around the quarry as a bonus!! We signed into the event then found our first way point at the listed coordinates no problem. Geo T read up on this adventure before we arrived today so we had a fair idea of what was in store! Waypoint 2 was also spot on with its coordinates so we negotiated our first climb to the second level where we met up with the 'boys' from iluvtrekking & richlink and were soon joined sscrew & ask277! Waypoint 3 - check and with a gentle nudge from a previous finder we successfully found way point 4! Another quick climb to the upper level where the final cache was soon in hand! Awesome team work displayed here today!! TFTC and for bringing us to this amazing location! A favourite point from us.

It was good morning and many geocachers enjoyed the multi etc.
Again thanks astrohiker [^]

This cache looked very interesting & had been put on our to-do list some time ago, but we have never quite got there... With the push from RL & ILT we were finally made it here Made our way through the quarry & to the final location where I was searching somewhere more hair-raising, when DangerMouse09 pipes up to tell me he had found it right where I told him to sit & wait
TFTC astrohiker [^] Such a fantastic location & a shame that it has only had a small amount of visitors... Perhaps now with the extra visits, other cachers will not be so scared off & come check it out!

Mr richlink and Mr ILT had a ball completing this multi today doing their utmost to turn all caches into a 5/5 rating. Thanks astrohiker, a well deserved favorites point from us.
Decided to complete this one while at the local geocaching event. I waited to the end of the event so that I could go around and find the waypoints, rather than following the steady stream of cachers during the event. Completed the circuit with Granett, beautiful views of Perth from the top level. I think we were also blessed with a great sunny morning, you couldn't ask for more. Thanks for bringing us here, a most interesting spot. Thanks astrohiker.
Joined in with OOH YEH, redlipsandunicorns, oorsome family and skippy43 during Greenmount Event. Highlights include pushing OOH YEH up the hill by her behind. Go team!!!
Now turned into a quick 5 stage multi. All Waypoints are not that far apart so no major hiking is needed. You will really love this multi.
This one took a while. I found the first wp, my mate found the other 2. The last point he told me the wrong Coords so we ended up looking in the wrone place. I ended up going back and getting the correct Coords and found it. All way points are in position. Tftc
After completing this cache i definitley earn't my beer when i got home
I started by heading up Wp 1 but was on the 4th level (not the first like i needed to be )after following the description i found WP1 easy enough But i could'nt find WP2 and my GPS didnt take m,e to any rock face, i almost gave up but after reading thought a previous cachers log I had a crack at WP 3 with Success ( i like how its attached ) there were easier ways to get there but at the time i took the most direct route which was quite steep with the final co-ord punched in i headed for the cache only to find it had been found by some kids playing in the quarry a few months back they had left a note saying they found it and some rubbish they left behing i was able to sign a piece of the log and was grateful for the find and the adventure i think i will have to try more of your caches now

Excellent. Glad you liked the levels on this 4 stage multi. Remember take more care if wet but is still quite do able.
Found it! Woohoo. Had to make a return journey after finding WP1 and 2. Came up early this morning and hunted around for WP3, even going up to the very top before coming back to find WP3. Then a quick find for GZ. It is a challenge but not undo able. Thanks for the effort in laying the cache Astrohiker, will have a look at any others you have around!
You mention your surprise that more people have not attempted this multi; after reading the attempts and visiting this area, I am not. If it wasn't for failure at 3 Team Bungarra multis in this rough area, I wouldn't have bothered returning here myself. I do appreciate the effort you have gone to in securing WP3 and your encouraging my return visits. Some people, like me, prefer to take our chances with sharks and spend our leisure time at the beach. Presumably others enjoy taking their chances with snakes in the bush. I don't understand why people choose to live up in this region, but it seems to make them happy. For me, a brief visit every few years will suffice. The cache is well stocked. I left nothing and was happy to escape with my life! Thanks for another unique experience astrohiker. I am surely no Lara Croft!
The cache is designed to make you think a bit as you walk the co ords.It will make you also think if you may need to backtrack a level too. The Co orda are there. It isn`t a cache that only Bear Grylls can do. As finders have found, it isn`t a ho hum cache, same as the Swan valley Safe. It is definately an out there cache & i`m surprised a few more people have not done this mid grade cache. Hope you will be ok Moneybox & co. Water is handy for taking on this short cache as well as Darlington Canyon Loop & the Swan valley Safe.
OMG, thank goodness for Chwiliwr's lengthy log or we may never have found this one. We didn't find WP2 or WP3 because we actually climbed up to a 4th level (who knew?!) It was blazingly hot, the rocks were red hot, Mrs M got sunstroke and was vomiting at the end but we would not let it beat us. We kept on looking, thinking, looking and while Mrs M sat in the shade Mr M went down a level. Yahoo, he finally found it and Mrs M climbed down to check it out. She has only 2 fingernails left as a result of the rock scrambling (took half a century plus to grow them!!) and although it was hard work in the heat we did enjoy it and were so pleased to come away with the find. Collapsed and had a snooze in the bus later. Like Chwiliwr we had no energy left for other planned treks so they will wait til next time we are up in the area. Looking forward to 1 and 2...lol. TFTC and the adventure. TNLN
Decided to come for a drive/walk and try and do this one before the weather got too hot for it. I found out a couple of things. I couldn't have done this the first time I was here even if I had found the first waypoint then and the second thing I found out is that I can climb cliffs but I cannot come down them with the knee.
I arrived at WP1 and walked around twice before finding the waypoint as I had to crouch to see it. Walked over to the where you go to the next level and worked out it wasn't too hard to do so went up to the 2nd level but couldn't find the next waypoint on any tree, dead or alive, so looked at the climb up to the 3rd level. It seemed a bit harder but doable so tried it and made it to the 3rd level. I then tried the two objects up on this level and found WP3 at one of them and plugged the new coordinates into the GPS. It told me that the next point was back on the 1st level. I then tried to decend down the levels but found the knee wouldn't let me do it so followed the trail up to the edge of the top cliff and found that I could probably do the climb so slowly made my way up. It was harder than the first two climbs but I could still favour the bad knee and use the good leg to do the step ups. I then made my way around the top and back down via the mountain bike trail to the 1st level. I then found that the GPS had me right at the base of the rock wall and there was no cache to be found so had to make my way up the levels again to the 3rd level and finally found the cache. Of course I then had to climb from the 3rd level back up the difficult bit to the top again but enjoyed it this time round as I had found the cache.
Future searchers note that WP3 and GZ are on the same level as the GPS wonders a lot inside the quarry and the differences can mean different levels. Also if you miss WP2 you can always find WP3 at the obvious spot on the level above. (Remember what WP1 looks like.)
Thanks astrohiker for another good cache. The trouble now is I've used all my energy and cannot do the other couple of walks I had planned but that is caching. I picked up the trackable also.

Using a gps working your way to the cache is quite easy & straight forward. It really is not a hard cache to do.
Ok I have just visited the cache & have changed the 3rd WP plate & will change the clue as wp3 is 1/2 metre out or so. WP 3 to final is back to co ords again. I dropped off the Happy frog Jayel 57 geocoin & picked up the Austr(al)ia geocoin,Johann Strauss I believe(Vienna).
Found WP1 and WP2. I am no Lara Croft so fellow cacher got sent to do the dirty work at WP3. He couldn't find it; it was hot and I had experienced enough quarry ambiance so we rode to an easier cache. Will email for a hint on WP3 for next time I ride on the heritage trail.
There is a note at WP 3. The cache is not hidden under 1 of the many rocks in the wall or floor. Take note of the hint when you have to. it is not that hard!!
I found the first couple of WPs easily but after an simple climb to the next level I just couldn't find anything resembling co-ords dispite a 15 minute search
I have now added an additional hint for those who don`t wish to turn every rock over. Sorry about that but i thought ppl would have it figured.
WOOHOO!!!! FTF @ 6:15pm, just made it out before dark - earning me the official title of Lara Croft
I was always planning to go for this cache today after seeing it published when I got up this morning, and wishing I had time then. As soon as I got home from work I jumped in the car and headed out here, and was reading the logs on the way.
At WP1 my GPS showed 2m to go when I arrived at the noted location, and I soon spotted the waypoint information and set off for WP2 (not up, by the way). After a short search at WP2 I was off to the next location, and quickly found the required information there.
This is where I came unstuck however. I misread the information and headed off on the wrong tangent, which had me searching high and low for over half an hour. Eventually I managed to track down the cache, and found that I was the first
I took the Bunnings voucher - thanks so much that will come in very handy for our backyard renovations - and the pennant which is very cool indeed.
I really enjoyed this cache, it's a favourite point from me! The terrain was not too difficult at all, everyone in good health should be able to give this a go. And the views were spectacular at multiple points!
Thanks for another quality cache astrohiker!

Congrats Lara.. (R0gue) I thought either you or Chwiliwr would get to this first. But Krabiboy would have, had he found WP 1. Yes the gps will play up with the rocks & did when i set it up. Yes WP 3 info may be tricky. Will wait & see the next logs to see if i need to alter it. Yep, best way to exit is up & quicker too. Your determination is admired.
Had a good hard look this morning when I saw it come through on the email. Will try again. TFTC
As I had to go to Midland I continued up to have a look at the first part of this multi. Walked up to the top of the rock face and it said 8m to go into the space beyond the burnt tree below but when I worked my way around the trails into the quarry it said 5m to go into the wall so obviously the GPS signal is being affected down near the base of the wall. I could see that somebody else had arrived at the same point earlier between the tree and the wall but even with a good knee I wouldn't attempt any part of the wall at this point and cannot see how it is safe to climb even just 10ft unless GZ for the first part of this muli is not up the wall at the point behind the burnt tree that the GPS took me to.
Hot or cold... You are hot at the tree. You just have to look harder. Its in plain sight. Bunnings voucher for FTF & a FTF pennant as well. Don`t forget it`s a 4 part multi.
